Dan was amazing. Helped me so much with picking out the best food for my French Bulldog who has many food allergies (as they do). Dan was extremely patient with me , answering questions and guiding me in the best direction. And I just wanted to express this. I've never in my life reached out to any companies, that's how well he did his job and took time. Most large businesses don't have people that really care. I was really impressed by the customer service at this location. I wasn't sure what to get for my fur baby after she abruptly broke her harness. The staff here cautioned me against buying something more expensive before starting her training; they thought it was worth hearing what the trainer had to recommend first. Meanwhile, we found a ton of great training treats! They have different rewards programs too. read more

In no way am I targeting this petco ln particular, but please don't support big chain pet stores like petco and pet smart because of how they care for the animals such as hamsters they recommend the opposite of what hamsters should have like wheel size, cage size, type of bedding, type of food, and where they get there pets at, breeders that don't have anything such as the live animal in mind they only care about the money the animals most likely will have a disease or be sick or die early this is caused by the genes and inbreeding. Big chain pet stores such as petco sell critter trails which come with to small of wheels and wayyy to small cages all together the bare MINIMUM should be 450 sq in of floor space, a sign of too small of a cage is a hamster chewing on the bars of the cage or climbing on the bars of the cage . They recommend 2 inches of bedding when hamsters should have 6-10 inches and they sell pine and cedar wood bedding which over time will cause respiratory disease or discomfort. Please do your own research a you tube channel I would recommend is Victoria Raechel she teaches ethical hamster care, I can continue to rant about the bad things about big chain pet stores but I'll save that for another day. -Thank you read more

This Petco location is smaller than most of the ones I've gone to, but they still always seem to have what I'm looking for. It's located next to King Kullen in Bridgehampton Commons. All of the staff that I've encountered so far have been pleasant and helpful. I even had my dog bathed there a couple of times, and the lady that helped me was very friendly and accommodating. They also have one of those custom dog tag machines, which was easy to use. Dog training services and vaccinations are provided at this location as well. While it would be nice if they had pets for sale at this location, it's understandable that they don't due to their size. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and I imagine my dog is as well. read more

This is a fine petco location. They had everything I needed and the staff were helpful. The store was also clean and arranged well. My only complaint would be that there was a rude customer in my way that should've been asked to move by the staff when I was trying to check out. The doors should also be automatic as it is very difficult to get your cart out the door with a dog next to you. read more

Cynthia is a gem at the Bridgehampton NY store. We have had many groomers over the years at Petco and Cynthia is by far the greatest of them all. She's caring, congenial, educated about pet care and you can tell she really loves your pet. read more

STAY AWAY FROM GROOMING HERE! I brought my 15lb dog in for a grooming. I knew they had some new groomers and thought I would try Petco again. I booked the appointment two weeks before (the earliest they had), and brought my dog in a 9am. Courtney, the groomer told me it would take 2 to 3 hours. Ok, that seems like a long time I thought but she told me she would call when he was ready. Three hours passed, so I went to Petco, figuring he had to be close to done. When I arrived Courtney, told me him was just drying and it would be another hour. I decided to hang around, and wait. Two and half hours later, my dog was done. It took Courtney and Isabella five and half hours to groom a 15lb dog with no knots. Courtney then proceeded to tell me that my dog was aggressive and that I shouldn't bring him back to Petco again. My dog, who is still a puppy has never ever shown any aggression to another dog nor human. This seemed very out of character for my dog. Courtney did tell me she just finished grooming school...which lead me to believe that her inexperience with handling and grooming dogs lead her to be unable to groom my dog properly-perhaps her lack of experience was why she couldn't handle my dog, or tell that he was stressed. Courtney did an awful job. I told Courtney that honestly keeping any dog in a cage for hours, in this kind of environment would stress them out, and that over five hours to groom him was unreasonable. Courtney then told me it was my problem, and my dog's problem---and she was not the problem. Courtney was rude, and argumentative. Courtney's associates then all jumped in to defend her. Stocking. These kids all need to take a lesson in customer service, and simple manners. I will never, ever bring my dog there again. Completely unprofessional and incompetent groomers and a very high stress environment for the dogs. STAY FAR AWAY! I'll be buying all my pet products from Chewy.com from now on. Went to take my 2 golden retriever puppies to get groomed here. When I made the appointment I asked if they would be waiting long in a cage while they were waiting to get groomed, they said no. I then asked if they could be put in the cage together while they waited, so at least they could be together and they said no problem. The day of was Memorial Day Weekend, so I called prior to the appointment to see if they were running on schedule as my appointment was at 12. They said they were busy but they were "glad I called and to bring them in." I told them there was a lot of traffic so I could bring them in later if they were too busy and I was going to be late due to traffic. She said bring them in now. I get there at 12:30- took me 45 minutes to get there & both pups threw up in the car bc they are puppies and still get motion sickness. When I arrived the woman, Isabella, was not very friendly and didn't pay any mind to the dogs. She was in the middle of grooming another dog so I asked if they would be next. She said no, I have 3 other dogs ahead of them. Really? Are you kidding? So my dogs are going to be sitting in a cage for hours, when I called an hour ago to see if you were running on schedule. Then I ask to see where they are going to be kept. She brings me in a room full of cages and barking dogs and my pups were terrified. The woman tells me she is going to take the dog out of this one cage and move him bc it was the biggest one she had. She does so and then goes to put my pups in this dirty cage with dog piss in it. I had enough. I left without getting them groomed, I will not be back, and will not recommend this place to anyone. Completely unorganized. Maybe you shouldn't book so many appointments when you only have 2 groomers on staff. And maybe you shouldn't waste people's time and energy, Petco. read more
