10/10 Recommended. I started using Petbox after issues with Cradled Pups (which I don't recommend at all). Anyway, Fatima groomed by dog recently. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, which is excellent because I value my time. She was very patient with my anxious dog, which is why I use a mobile groomer in the first place. Her customer service is excellent. I'm not picky when it comes to how my dog has his haircut, but she went over specifics on the chart just to ensure that I was going to be satisfied with his look and the services I booked before she started. read more

My biggest complaint about this company is it's owner. I had services done where my dog had gotten a super short summer hair cut and it turned out giving her skin issues, even after I had requested a certain blade be used (which it did not). I had written the owner in complaint of services rendered because of the skin issues that have now occurred with my animal. No, I did not complain at time of service because I didn't know that it would turn out so bad over the weekend (cuts from the blade, hot spots, patches of exposed skin) He showed no remorse, not even a sorry, just a "we collected for services you requested and that his groomer had 5 years of experience". BEWARE! They do a great job with bathing and the staff itself is friendly BUT if you have an issue with service DO NOT expect the owner to cooperate or even offer an apology. I am updating my review. Please note all the irrelevant photos and videos posted 8 days ago. He is trying to cover up a video that was posted of these people abusing animals. BEWARE!! My mother in law took her dog for a nail trim last week. The lady did not speak any English and could not adequately communicate. They took the dog into a separate building with no windows and she just heard the dog screaming and screaming. She got her back and the nails were bleeding and had been dremmeled (which is not what she asked for). She specifically didn't want dremmel but the lady couldn't speak enough English to understand that. read more

I have used Pet Box Mobile Spa for years. The owner is very unprofessional, but we like their groomer, Alex. We had an appointment booked 2 weeks in advance for 9:30 AM with the thought that there could only be one appointment ahead. From previous appointments we knew that they sometimes arrive late, so we were looking to avoid that. They texted us the morning of the appointment and changed our appointment to be an hour and 15 minutes later without explaination. When I asked for one they cancelled my appointment abruptly and said they were removing us as a client for the future. I was not aggressive or unprofessional with them in my communication, so this was surprising to say the least, and left us in a bind. If you are looking for a reliable even-tempered company to work with, I would go elsewhere. read more

Cassie is absolutely the BEST! Greets me and my fur baby with kindness every single time! She always exceeds my expectations!

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience! Leah and Ed were a great team. They came on Sunday. They called and or/texted with updates on arrival. I have a very long haired German Shepherd and they explained what they were going to do, also notified me immediately when they found a cut on her that was under her long coat that I as the owner didn't even realize! They had medicine on their vehicle and treated it at no charge. Van was very clean, organized and overall great experience! read more

Cassie is simply the best! Cassie has been our choice for grooming for over 2 years. First with our elderly 17 year old poodle. Cassie was gentle and patient with him. He loved strutting his stuff after Cassie prettied him up. (RIP Jacques) Now we have a 5 year old rescue WestieYorkie that seems to have been previously abused, and doesn't like strangers. Cassie won her over very quickly and Gypsy looks and smells amazing when done. For one of the appointments, they were having mechanical issues. I was contacted and made aware of the issues. Cassie worked with us to make sure our Gypsy girl had her beauty appointment as soon as possible. As long as Cassie is grooming, and we have a dog, we will always be a customer. read more

If I could give this business a ZERO I would. TAKE YOUR PETS SOMEWHERE ELSE. NOT WORTH DEALING WITH OWNER. I would rather drive then be inconvenienced by this jerk. He might win you by providing okay service one time but it is not work dealing with him in the long run. I don't know how he is going to train dogs to be obedient when he has anger issues. My mom has had vision problems for the past couple of years and has been unable to drop our miniature schnauzers off to be groomed. Because she was limited in driving she always forgave the owner for being late, changing appointment times with notification and price gouging. He never called to update her and when she called he had the biggest attitude. This past time she scheduled an appointment a month in advance with Brittni. Well she never showed up and so when my mom called to check on the status the guy had a huge issue with that I guess. He then told her Brittni was on leave and told her that no one would be coming out. I can understand a business being busy and I think most people can be very forgiving if you call BEFORE the appointment and let them know about any changes. My mom has dedicated her life to serving the community and believes in promoting small business owners. When a business is constantly late, doesn't treat their customers right, cancels appointments without notice and changes pricing there is a huge issue. Before booking it does say to give an extra hour...but four hours? Not even showing up? How is convenient???? From working in the customer service industry and also being a business banker I know how important it is for small business owners to keep all of their customers and VALUE them. They are the ones paying your bills and keeping your business alive. I would highly recommend taking your pet to a business that appreciates its clients. The owner has some serious issues he needs to work on. The biggest one is CUSTOMER SERVICE. All he had to do was call before the appointment and let us know it was changing. Instead he got an attitude because he messed up. It shows a lack of respect. It can take months to build rapport with a customer and only seconds to lose one. This owner has just lost a lot of business. Not only will I never take my own pets to him again but I will make sure none of my friends, family, or neighbors do and will also be sending out my review of the business to homeowners in my subdivision because I truly believe this man does not deserve to groom our pets. We recently moved to the area & so happy we found PetBox Grooming on Roesener Rd. My babies have been there twice & looked absolutely adorable both times. They call as soon as they're finished so my babies don't have to sit there all day. But the most important thing is they were eager to get out of the car on the 2nd visit & that has never happened with any previous groomer. We will be using PetBox for a long time to come. read more

They can NOT keep any appointments. The first time I used them they were 4 hours late. They did an average job with the grooming. I then called them a second time a few months later and scheduled again, because it is so convenient to have our dog bathed at home; they were an hour late. When I called them to find out when they would be arriving the person had never heard from the groomer and they could not keep their appointment. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. My mom had also scheduled an appointment with them for in the morning. They rescheduled her for the late afternoon, by 5pm they had not called and never showed. I was very skeptical about leaving my dog here simply because I didn't know these people and she has separation anxiety. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed and they were very sweet with our little one. She spent all day here, had the opportunity to interact with other dogs, and Francois did a great job grooming her. He was very nice, very knowledgeable and personable. Francois and Edward made our fur baby feel welcomed and safe. They have cameras to constantly have an eye on the dogs interacting and making an appointment was very easy. tl;dr: Save yourself some money and trust the reviewers who say the owner is a complete jerk and the service is terrible. First off, I normally don't put much stock in one star reviews. They usually smack of people thinking they're entitled to the world. However, I can say this with confidence: if their experience was like mine, then every single one of these one-star reviews for these groomers is well deserved. They showed up an hour late. That's ok, I say. The booking confirmation warns this might happen. The truck was malfunctioning. No worries, I say. Problems happen. My dog wasn't cleaned whatsoever. She also wasn't dried. She is a bulldog with a tail pocket that I-twice- specifically requested them to clean and dry. It wasn't touched. The appointment was to last 45 minutes. My dog was in and out of their truck in about 20 minutes. Not nearly enough to get her clean. These are the reasons these frauds will never have the chance to steal another penny from me. I was at work when all of this happened. I inspected my dog when I got home and found her every bit as dirty as when I left for work in the morning. I contacted the owner with my issues and requested a refund. He very smugly stated that he's not going to be giving me a refund and that it's my wife's fault for not inspecting the dog closer before they left. Nevermind the fact that you can't properly inspect a wet dog for cleanliness. He also welcomed me to give him a bad review. Can do, sunshine. I was polite at the time, but I asked this piece of work how he can honestly sleep at night knowing he takes money from customers and refuses to give it back even when the service was: 1. Done so poorly as to not even be noticeable (the bath) 2. Not performed at all and lied about (the tail pocket) 3. Done in a very lazy, halfway measure (the drying) His response was to hang up on me. I will absolutely never use this awful service again. Next time I want a wet, dirty dog in my house I'll spray her with a garden hose. Same sort of results. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This company does not care about customer service in the least. I have used them on multiple occasions to trim my dogs nails. The previous price had been $40 for all three dogs but was now raised to $60 for all three (no problem). I booked for 2:15 on Thursday. I sent a text at 2:35 saying they were over 15 minutes late and wondering if they knew how much longer he would be. I received a text saying the time is only estimated since they are a mobile business. I was never told this when booking and replied that when I booked an appointment I booked it for that time. I have to be somewhere soon and wondered what time they would arrive. I received a text saying sorry to have forgotten but all grooming services come with an hour wait time. This text was immediately followed by himself saying if you want I cancel and then immediately after that saying ok let's cancel thanks. I replied that I did not okay any cancellation and that it is extremely inappropriate for him to treat customers this way when all I wanted to know is when he would be here. I attempted to call and leave a voicemail and received another text stating we don't even do just nail service I cancel. When I attempted to call again it appeared he blocked my number. I sent another text saying that if he doesn't offer that service he shouldn't have booked the appointment and that I would be leaving reviews telling people how he treats customers. The next morning after not hearing anything from them the rest of yesterday I receive a petty text stating have at it. This owner does not care about pleasing customers in the least. Upon calling today I received no apology only a million excuses. In all honesty, the name should be changed from "Petbox" to "ExcuseBox" because it seems that is the only thing the rude owner can truly deliver on. I have used this company many, many times. The cuts aren't up to par, they are consistently 1.5+ hours late and their customer service is awful. I continued to use them though because of the convenience. When I cancelled my appointment today because they were going to be 1.5 hours late again the owner called me. I told him I was tired of them being late every appointment and he had multiple excuses, including blaming me. He kept saying "good luck finding another groomer"...I eventually hung up on him and will never use them again!! read more

Didn't even get to have my dog groomed and I never will. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went to their website and booked an appointment. There were 3 time slots available with Brittni Godair. I chose a 3:15 then called because I wanted to double check which forms of payment they accepted. No answer, left a message. Got a call back from the owner who was calling to tell me they were busy and asked me to come at 5 instead. Then why were those time slots available?? I let that go even though it gave me a bad impression and agreed to bring my dog at 5. I planned my day around my pet's appointment being at 5pm. At 3:30 I received a call from Brittni wondering why I wasn't there. Automatic irritation on my end. She made it seem like it was my fault and asked if I could hurry up and get there. Seriously?! I was on another side of town so I said no. She hung up in irritation saying she would call "him" and "see where the confusion came in..." 4:00, no call back. So I called and she didn't answer. I called the owner, no answer. I left a message asking about my appointment and have yet to hear back. I decided to take my business elsewhere and have already found a great, PROFESSIONAL groomer. As a business owner myself, I find this lack of communication and professionalism inexcusable. They are Disorganized, bad business. I used this service after seeing them at a nearby neighborhood. I will never use them again! They dumped hair clippings in my yard and drained their vehicles water tank in my driveway. They were 2 hours late and the cuts were the worst cut my dogs have ever received. They were just shaved and very unevenly shaved. I paid for grooming, I wanted grooming they do not know how to groom a dog. They only know how to shave a dog. My dogs hair will grow back and I will be going back to my regular groomer. Save your money and go to a real groomer. These people do not know what they are doing and they will treat your yard like it is a trash can read more

First time I used this service it was good. The last two times were just horrible. They quoted me one price but then when at my house the price went up $10 and they were 2hrs late. The last time they texted me to confirm our appointment but had us down for a time that was 1 hour later than what we had originally scheduled. I decided to continue anyway. Cassie loves our fur babies and I can tell by her calm demeanor that she knows her business and cares for the fur babies that have been entrusted to her. When she arrives, she takes her time and lets "the boys" walk beside her on the leash for a bit before she begins the groom. Not in a hurry and does a great job. Highly recommend. read more

We've been taking advantage of pet box's mobile services for about a few years now since we moved near the Katy-Richmond area. I just saw one of their mobile grooming vehicles one day and I figured..."Why not"? We've been looking for a groomer for awhile and our dog was way overdue for one anyways so I called. I was expecting it to cost me more $$$ than what we were paying at the previous groomers, for the convenience factor, but it was actually less. They've always showed up w/in 15 mins of the scheduled appt., never really took longer than an hour(unless our dog was extra dirty), and more than once I have called the owner for an emergency grooming and he had accommodated us the same day each time to which I was very grateful. I will definitely continue to take advantage of pet box's mobile services. read more

We have used them twice and both times were very pleased with the service. The groomer was polite on both occasions and was done with our dogs very quickly. Each appointment included a bath and cut. The groomer was about 30 minutes late for the 2nd appointment but it does say on the website that they could be up to an hour late. That's better than the 4 hour window other companies tend to give. Had a great experience! My dogs loved keith and we're in and out quick. Now I'm not picky about my dogs hair I just want them to be able to breath during the summer. I had used this service for more than two years because my dogs do not like to be kenneled. The first few times, the service (the groomers themselves were wonderful) worked great. The problems began last year and much of the problems were secondary to a owner/manager who was unprofessional, rude and disorganized. After waiting for nearly 7 hours for the groomer to show up the last time (and again, the groomer was wonderful), the manager did little to resolve any issues. This time I waited for a month and noted that the time was wrong and so was the groomer. I called in the morning to ensure that the time and groomer were correct and once again the owner was rude and condescending. I will never use this service again. If the owner treats our pets as they do their owners, then I can only imagine how he treats his employees and the animals he cares for. read more

We've used PetBox for 4 years and haven't had any issues other than previous groomers running about a 1/2 hour late a few times. John came to our house 3 days ago and groomed our Golden Retriever. He spent over an hour with her and cleaned her up very well. She looked amazing, smelled amazing and her haircut was awesome! Her teeth were thoroughly cleaned, her "pants" as we call them were pretty, she looked like she was smiling when she came inside. He went above and beyond and we would definitely recommend PetBox. Our entire family uses them for all 3 of our Golden Retrievers. Call & request John as your groomer! He's kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Their prices aren't cheap but we get what we pay for and we paid for top notch service and received it! read more

I booked with Nikki last month when she groomed Patton with the Mobile Service. When she didn't show today I called and was informed Very Rudely, I didn't have an appointment. She didn't book me. I asked if the guy who answered the phone was going to fix it since I Did indeed book and was informed it was not his problem and no appointments are available. I was shocked that he wasn't apologizing and asked if he was going to and he said " for the sake of the company we are sorry, but it's not my problem". Customer service??? Really??? Company and I confirmed shave and bath for 2 Great Pyrennes. First groomer showed up, said he only had two hours, he could not do two dogs. A couple of hours later, a larger van shows up. My two dogs are strictly livestock guards, they live outside. The groomers knew this. They removed all the tail hair (after being told not to) and sheared them so close to the skin, they have NO protection from heat/cold/fleas/wild animals. One has an ear problem which I'm trying to treat--it began immediately after the grooming. Both dogs are depressed and clearly in discomfort. This is the first time I've ever seen them like this after a bath and shave. These folks definitely did not know what they were doing. read more

This groomer should not be in business. They were very rough with our dog and did a terrible job. Their van looks filthy inside...I don't think they ever clean it. They will tell you they have experience with your breed of dog but in our case, they definitely didn't. The owner is extremely unprofessional and unstable. He lies about everything and like other reviewers have said, blames his mistakes on you. You wouldn't believe the things he said and did even if I told you. His daughter is very pushy and rude too. Beware of this company! I made a reservation online and received confirmation that they would be there at a certain time. I stayed home from work to make sure that I would be there when they arrived. According to their confirmation notice, they ask for a 1 hour window, letting you know that they may run late. That is fine. I waited and after one hour of not hearing from them, I called. No answer. Another hour later I called, and still no answer. I finally sent them a text message and 3 hours after my appointment, they responded by saying that their scheduler made a mistake and they would not be going to my house today. I asked them nicely to please send someone since I missed work and they said they were unable to accomodate my request and would have to wait tomorrow. I asked them what good is a confirmation if they are not going to honor it and they said (and I wish I could copy and paste my text message from them!!) that mistakes are made on a daily basis. I miss work, they dont honor a confirmation and I get a non-chalant attitude that mistakes are part of their business. No way would I consider calling them again. They may offer a convenient service, but I would rather go with a traditional groomer where I know I would get the service the day of my appointment. read more
