Sad dead flowers many times we paid $300 dollars they are not cedars. Basically tried many times but a disappointment.

I've received flowers from this florist that were beautiful and lasted for several weeks. They are a bit pricey, but comparable with other florists locally. They've helped me in a pinch more than once for wacky concierge requests and have been pretty flexible about delivering or even opening a bit early so that I could pick up myself. read more

She seemed to know exactly what I needed, and didn't hesitate to share the different types of flowers she had in stock. Gail and Dora and staff created lovely and stylish bouquets, and church and reception arrangements for my daughter's wedding. Beauty and affordability are the key descriptors that come to mind when I consider what they produced for us. It was a delight to work with the fun and talented women at Petals of Provence to realize the look we had in mind. They suggested lovely and durable blossoms that stayed within our budget. The bridal bouquet of white peonies was simple and elegant. We scheduled an initial meeting at Petals of Provence to discuss having them as our florist for our wedding. The meeting seemed to go well. We were told that they would get back to us in two days with a proposal and pictures of potential arrangements. We never got a proposal nor did we get any form of communication. They never called us back and never responded to our emails. We wasted a bunch of time waiting on them. There are plenty of other great florists in Avon and Eagle Vail that are way cheaper and actually follow up when they say they are going to follow up. I don't usually write reviews, but I had a very negative experience with this florist and felt compelled to write to spare others a headache. I live in NYC and had my wedding July 11th in Vail and used Petals of Provence for my flowers. After 2 in-person trips to discuss my flowers, several emails, many magazine tears provided and several thousand dollars later- the flowers that showed up were nothing like what I had requested. My wedding colors were pink and green but the bouquets turned up purple. I requested a cascading bouquet and what showed up wasn't. The church wreaths and arrangements looked cheap and haphazardly put together. The list goes on. What bothered me most above and beyond everything I mentioned was that I wrote Gail- the owner- a very reasonable email explaining my disappointment, and she didn't have the decency to even respond. I had actually been warned not to use her but moved forward against my better judgement. I would not recommend anyone else do the same. read more
