We used her full services for everything with the wedding from designing the engagement picture shoot, bridal shoot, to flower design, table settings, invitation designs, and everything else that falls in between for a wedding. She took all of my hard requests and executed them. For example, I wanted an aisle runner made completely out of pages from Harry Potter books and she made it happen. I also requested to have an owl as our ring bearer and she managed to find a company in Texas that offered those services. My final request was to have candles that looked as if they were floating from the ceiling and she made that dream a reality too. Trust me I had some "out there" request and Kat didn't even balk at them, she tackled them head on. My wedding was planned down to the last detail and it came out looking amazing. It was definitely a wedding that none of our guests will forget in a long time. Kat is one of the top wedding planners in Houston and it shows in her work and she has so much passion for her job so she really puts all she has into everyone's wedding that she plans. My only advice to future brides would be to make sure that Kat is present in the original negotiations of what kind of services her company will or will not be providing you, that way you don't fall into a situation where one of her assistants promises you more services than were being stated in the contract that you sign, which is what happened to us in the beginning. Luckily, Kat did rectify this issue and sat down with us to re-negotiate our contract so it truly reflected the services that we did want. I don't see this as a bad reflection on Kat or her company, just an unfortunate start to our wedding planning experience; but Kat did manage to right all of the wrongs and worked hard to give our wedding planning experience a quick 180 and it turned out magnificent on the day of. Kat brought a team of two day of coordinators with her to our wedding and they did a wonderful job keeping us on Kat's timeline and making sure everything went smoothly. If there were any hiccups at the wedding I have no idea that they even happened because Kat and her team handled everything so smoothly. Kat was fantastic to work with she really knows this business and has a lot of great connections so you don't have to run around looking for vendors since Kat already has a bunch that she can recommend to you to work with. We used almost all of Kat's recommended vendors for our wedding and they were all fantastic. Kat is quick to respond to emails and really takes the time to get to know her clients so she can make your dream wedding come to life. She is also very good at making sure that you stay within your budget. To cut money cost Kat offers a lot of in house design elements that really help to bring down the budget; but still look fantastic. Kat deigned and put together all of our wedding invitations, menus, table number holder and place cards for us and they were all custom made to fit our theme. She will also pick up any extra props that you need for the wedding as well Kat will personally pick them up for you and bring them to the wedding so that you don't have to worry about getting it and transporting wedding stuff to the venue the day of you can relax and just brings your dress and jewelry. We really appreciated that, it made it much more stress free for us the day of the wedding knowing that Kat had everything we needed and knew how to get everything set up in the strict 1 hour set up time our venue allotted. Kat really has an eye for details and takes direction very well but she also knows when you need to have something and isn't afraid to voice her opinion on why you should include it. For example, we just didn't see the benefit of having a dance floor, it was going to be $1,200 extra and we felt like the floor was good enough. She did persuade us into changing our mind and on the night of the wedding we had to admit that she was right the dance floor made a big difference in the room and we were very happy we listened to her. I would highly recommend Kat Creech Events to any future bride; she will make sure you have an unforgettable day.

They were easy to get a hold of, really prompt, always followed through with getting me information they promised, etc. Also, Scott is hands down one of th eeasiest people to work with. I went back and forth on what I wanted and then had to trim out a bit because of budget. He worked with me, kept fixing the proposal and coming up with new ideas. He seems to really get people's visions and have amazing recommendations to bring it to life. My parents who are extremely critical of wedding vendors even commented on how great he was. They definitely didn't love the bill but I don't think they would have liked anyones prices. Flowers are stupidly expensive! I was going backa nd forth between Darryl and Co. and Blooming Gallery and am really thankful I went with Blooming Gallery. I'll save my criticism of Darryl for another day.

I asked for a call because I felt there may have been some miscommunication, but she told me to email her instead. Since it was the day before the event, I asked to speak with someone else on her team who was available, but that request was ignored. Unfortunately, there were several issues with our order, including incorrect vase colors, no fruit as shown in the approved mock-up, missing bud vases, and incorrect floral placement on the main photo moment. We also had to pay an additional $24 to add the bud vases that had been missed. As a business owner, I found that disappointing especially for such a small additional amount, as it was an oversight on her end rather than ours. After the event, I emailed to share my concerns and never received a response. Overall, it felt like our event was not taken as seriously as it should have been, and that was reflected in the final execution.

I knew when I got engaged that I wanted to hire somebody b/c working full time and being really…read morebusy I knew I didn't have the time to plan a wedding....let alone my own wedding! :) I am an accountant and really into the details but when it comes to outside of work I like to relax and not have to deal with anything particularly stressful. It was definitely a provision and huge blessing to get to hire Jennifer as my planner. My (now) husband and I knew we wanted a short engagement and we ended up picking a date about 4 months after our engagement! So we planned on a ceremony and afternoon snack reception at the church we attend. We had about 160 people show up (including some little ones) and Jennifer did a FANTASTIC job. (1.) She kept us updated through email and texts and face to face meetings regularly (i.e. weekly to bi-weekly) about what was going on and what needed to be done by whom and when (2.) She started out by asking what our expectations were and what we envisioned / what was important to us. From there, she helped us figure out what we could do and what we could not do based off of our budget. At our first meeting, she had already researched a few places and florists based off of our budget! (3.) She took care of all of the details - the church we were married at required us to work with their wedding coordinator so I let Jennifer handle all the logistics of working with the church coordinator for our wedding. I didn't have to deal with refrigeration, working with the sound guy for the reception, etc etc (4.) She did a few extra things like have a beautiful basket ready for us for our wedding night. She made sure to not put anything that we wouldn't normally use (for example, my husband and I are not big wine drinkers). So it felt like a thoughtful gift/touch and not just something thrown together. (5.) She knew that my husband and I wanted to save as much as possible so she was on top of doing research regarding things like cutlery to buy (and where), using Instacart to deliver for free, etc. (6.) She was incredibly detailed when it came to what needed to be done and when. For example, for the grand exit, she was detailed enough to know to place certain people where for pictures and who should hold what (also for pictures). (7.) During the Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony and Reception she was always busy taking care of everything (i.e. the food was replenished, drinks were refilled, etc) so that way things went off without a hitch and unnoticed (8.) She created a Kids Corner for the reception! It was such a wonderful idea and one of my friends who has two little ones (the oldest in elementary school) said that she had such a hard time pulling her youngest girl away from the Kids Corner! I didn't even think about anything like this and thought it was such a genius idea. :) (9.) Overall, given how busy I am and how much I dislike planning, I felt incredibly NOT stressed having Jennifer as my planner. I basically just did whatever she asked us to do (and it pretty much was just having to make decisions ) and didn't even worry throughout the whole planning process. The ONLY time I worried was when I thought my dress wasn't going to make it on time but that was through a completely different vendor - Jennifer was amazing though and offered to help should I have needed it (i.e. by finding a wrap to go over the back up dress, etc). Thankfully, there was no need for that! For any bride to be's out there who are looking for a planner who they can trust and who takes her job incredibly seriously and REALLY knows the details, I highly, highly, highly recommend Jennifer. She did such a fantastic job! She has been doing this for 10 years and it really shows. :)
