She loves people and will cooperate if she is spoken to . I paid for other services and she STILL HAD EAR MATS, RAZOR BURNS ON HER PAW PADS, NO SANITARY TRIM, and her nails need filing smooth. Find a real groomer don't bring your pets here. Also the bucket and mop for pee clean ups was black water. Really?

There was also a utility sink with a HUGE slider turtle and 4 other smaller (5-6" shell) turtles just sitting in the empty sink, flinching when anyone walked past. I wish I had taken pictures, I feel so stupid for not doing so, but I was so shocked and so afraid of being told to leave the store if I pulled my phone out for a photo. I genuinely can't believe the conditions these reptiles were in...the fish tanks were all dyed gravel and plastic plants, which isn't great of course, but the genuine lack of BARE NECESSITIES for the reptiles left me speechless. If I ever go back to this 'store' it will only be for pictures of the animal neglect and/or to see if anything improved...

There was an amazing selection of fish, plants, invertebrates, corals, supplies, and even a gorgeous axolotl! I got some beautiful guppy culls and I honestly wish I had gotten more. I have been taking our cats to Green Acres for many years and in preparing to move out of state, I…read moremade appointments for both of my cats on separate days this week. The care was good but the facility operations could use some process improvement for a leaner operation. First and foremost, this is a review of the center and not of the vet care itself. The vets at GAs are great and provide good care. * During both appointments, we were kept waiting in the exam rooms for way too long before the vet came in to see us. There needs to be better scheduling process to prevent this or by having a vet tech do the preliminary exam functions. In a vet visit situation, most small animals are frightened and the waiting isn't good for their well-being. * There should be a better check in/check out procedure. Perhaps having employees dedicated to the separate processes, much like a doctors office, would help. At one point in time, there were five front desk people trying to work around each other, taking payments, checking patients in and out, printers not working, my cat, several dogs and their people, all trying to be helped. It was loud, chaotic and almost unsettling. (Especially for the elderly small doggo who fell off the bench and couldn't stand up among all the human legs.) I would choose to go here again, but would ask to be scheduled in their anticipated least busy time and ask not to be sent to the exam room until the vet is ready for the next patient.
