I came in looking for a small fish after finding out that their gold fish prices are 30 dollars for a small size gold fish. After not showing any interest she asked me to leave the store saying it closes at 7:00 pm which it was 6:40. After I left, the two owner mocked me in a very unprofessional manner saying "I bet you have never been kicked out of a store before" as well as implying that I don't have any money because 30 dollars for a gold fish is normal. The female owner said "you are very stupid you probably think that the world is square because you don't know anything". They have a no picture sign in front of their store which confused me at first but now I totally understand why, some of their gold fishes had bubble eye disease which explains the no picture. If you are just browsing the fish section I would suggest you to say I am looking for a fish to fit in my ponds me try to sound interested or you will get kicked out very fast in a unprofessional manner.

I haven't been able to go to this location in person but through the series of emails back and forth with placing an order, the workers are amazing people! Even though the times of the quarantine for the covid-19 virus, their still willing to deliver all the pets products to people homes. They accidentally over charged me as I would have never even noticed but when they arrived at my door, they told me that they over charged me and that they threw in a few extra things into the delivery. The workers are honest people and very professional. I also usually order a particular brand that I recently found out that was only sold at Pet Value but they recommended alternatives that were similar which just so happened to be on a BOGO promotion which was nice of them to do. Would I go back? Definitely! The employees were amazing people and they had the products I needed plus more!

SERVICE: Always friendly and fast. Whether it's in store or curb side pick-up the staff at Pet Cuisine are focused on customer satisfaction and it shows. CURB-SIDE PICK-UP: Ordering online is easy and your order is ready same day. I've never been left to wait outside; it's stop and go, just like that. PRODUCT SELECTION: Extensive. They carry all the major brands of food, treats, hygiene products, and clothing/accessories, plus thing you won't find at other large franchise pet stores. Staff at Pet Cuisine are animal lovers and it shows. They always greet the pets and make them feel as welcome and their owners, and always ask if it is okay for your pet to receive a treat which is nice. The only problem is now my poodle wants to stop in- every time we pass by. LOL

The prices may seem a bit higher for some things, but the quality is great. My dog has chewed through some cheaper toys already, but the ones I got here are still holding up. During lockdowns, they have the curbside shopping down. You stand at the table and say what you want and they will bring you a whole bunch of options you can look at. Also many of the staff seem to have been working there for years. You don't always see that a lot in retail and I think/hope this means that they treat their employees well. The stuff they sell is definitely on the higher end quality-wise, but the prices are totally reasonable. I agree with previous reviewers that the people who work there (maybe they are the owners) are very nice and helpful, if you walk in and decide not to buy something you don't feel like the proprietor is staring a hole through the back of your head on your way out (not that any other stores in Leslieville would ever fall into that category).
