Reviewing late but, better late than never…read more When I arrived at my appt the lady at the front desk advised that I had missed my appt by 45 minutes yet, the text message confirmation that I had received twice, specifically stated the time that I had showed up at. When I showed her the text message confirmation, she advised that they're having computer issues hence, why the appt confirmation was incorrect, and that I was still 45 minutes late and would not be able to have my dog groomed and would "waive" the cancellation fee. I asked if they could manage to fit my dog and thanks to the same computer issue, managed to fill another "no-show". All I wanted was a basic bath and an add-on package for my short-haired dog and what I received was a $400 vet bill thanks to the severe rash my dog broke out in due to the uncleanliness of the tools that they used to groom him. The poor guy was covered in blisters from head to toe and was extremely uncomfortable for days and when I let them know they told me that it was most likely a sensitivity to the shampoo even after I clearly stated that the results from the vet showed it was a bacterial infection caused by unsanitized tools. Would not recommend.

Mediocre cuts (and I'm being generous) Doesn't listen to clients requests Way overpriced Rude staff, extremely dismissive. Longevity in these types of businesses come from word of mouth, news of unfavourable experiences travel rather quickly within the dog community. I could handle so so cuts as all I want is a tidy dog, but the "I don't care about your business" attitude from the owner is a pretty tough pill to swallow.

After talking to him about it, he went on a whole rant on how he didn't over charged us. We went to another doctor after the "cleaning-surgery" and the doctor at the other clinic was shocked that they performed surgery, as she needed time to heal and was not needed. Dr.Kia should have his license revoked Very unpleasant experience and unprofessional doctor AVOID!

We had brought our dog to his "usual vet" - Major Mackenzie Animal Hospital, because he had broke…read morehis dew claw on ONE paw. We asked the doctor what he thinks is best and if we should just remove his nail? Or what else can you do? He explained to us we would continue to have this problem with him breaking his nails so we should just remove the entire digit on the one paw and then the other paw we will just remove the nail and within 7-10 days he'll be fine again. He told us that the surgery was NOT a big deal and he could do it right now. He gave us no other options, he just insisted that the surgery is the best way to proceed. This was at 6pm in the evening on Jan 2nd. This was the beginning of an ongoing nightmare. Unfortunately I cannot post the entire essay I had wrote on Facebook due to Googles character limit. But after seeing a few other vets we found out this surgery is HIGHLY NOT recommended ever. Another vet even said after his 23 years experience he has NEVER recommended amputating the front dew claws. It's dangerous and a nightmare if it becomes infected. This was a photo taken this morning. This is still ongoing. His paw looks a million times better than what it did, it was black and green and crusty and disgusting, and the oder was unbelievably foul. DO NOT let your pets be put through unnecessary surgeries GET A SECOND OPINION. We certainly have learned our lesson.
