I even told her yesterday that we adopted from a cat from there back in January of 2018. So my advice is DO NOT go to Monroe Humane Society. From other reviews I've read, this looks like a pattern.

They have created a large cat habitat in one corner of the store with toys, scratching posts and cat TV. There are also several cats that roam the store. In addition to the resale items they offer a large selection of handmade animal products including t-shirts, bandanas, magnets and catnip toys. Friends of Companion Animals also holds a few events like a Halloween Spooktacular dog walk. While this is not the best thrift store I have ever been to, we always take home a few good finds whenever we visit. Also you know the money is going to a great cause!
