    I used to hate going to big pet stores. It seemed workers never cared about my business or knew the products they carried. This store is NOT that at all! The Pet Supplies Plus in Mequon is amazing! The owner is often there working alongside his crew. Everyone is friendly and eager to try to help. Workers keep the store clean and well stocked which must be hard because they've got everything! I go so often that I'm greeted like a family member and everyone knows my dog. I like that! It makes me feel appreciated for my effort to support this local business. I like the fact the management takes time to ask how I'm doing. They answer my questions about products. When I send a friend or neighbor to see them, they thank me for the business. It makes me appreciate having them in my community! Try not to bug out in here but don't go in a hurry -- enjoy the experience. The store is like Doggie wonderland! You can get your dog groomed or DIY wash. You can buy fancy pet food or limited ingredient products. You can buy toys for every kind of pet. If you don't see what you need, you can ask if they can order it. They even have very services!!! They have online, curbside, in-store, auto-order, and delivery! They follow CDC guidelines so if you're fully vaccinated, you can go mask-free OR wear a mask if that's more comfortable. During the Pandemic, they helped me keep my service dog, Buddy, comfortable, healthy, and safe. If you sign up on-line, you'll get amazing coupons and emails about products. It's just easy and fun with this group. They make things affordable! They make the experience pleasurable. The location is convenient. The hours are accommodating. The staff is friendly. The workers and management work hard to earn and keep your business!! What more could you ask for? Check them out! Tell them Buddy's Mama sent ya!

    I love this store! I use the self-serve dog wash every week. It's well-designed, clean, and reasonably priced. The staff here are all friendly, kind and helpful. My dog is relaxed when he gets his bath, which is a bonus because he's a 120 lb. Malamute with a long coat. Lots of fur!

    I absolutely love this Pet Supplies Plus. I am always greeted with engaged and friendly employees. One time I called and talked to an employee who made a product recommendation based on an issue we were having with my cat. They pulled the product off the shelf and had it waiting for my husband to pick up- just to make it that much easier on us. I find no reason to go anywhere else for my animal's needs!

    Went in on the grand opening in Mequon. Got so many free things, they have a beautiful store and it's CLEAN. Employees are excited to work!

We have a three legged Doodle, which as you can imagine presents some challenges. Ours was Brittany's first tripod, and over the last year she has been extremely patient in establishing a relationship with her, and getting her to become more and more relaxed with every visit. There was a big gap between appointments due to an injury our Doodle suffered the end of 2025, but once she was confidently back on all threes, I called Brittany and was able to get her in fairly quickly. She turned a matted, overgrown mess into a whole new dog! As much as we loved her longer hair, the new look has definitely grown on us. She's a whole new dog, and we are grateful for Brittany for all she's done for us!

When I showed for the appointment, the groomer asked me questions regarding what I was looking for but it was clear she was NOT actively listening. Former groomers typically took about 3 - 4 hours. i was called after an hour and a half. I had to pay before seeing my dog and leave a tip...I shouldn't have even done that! My dog was scalped everywhere except her face and that was not carefully cut. There were areas with stray clumps not even trimmed (tail, sides). She looked horrible and it was obvious she couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! NEVER AGAIN!

    Shutter this business with verbally and physically abusive owner. We had a grooming appt on March…read more1, 2025. Dropped dog off in early afternoon. Groomers explained that while the store closed at 5 that they would be running past 5 for our dog. The groomer called at 5:09 pm (time stamp of call attached). I immediately headed over to pick up our dog. I entered the store and walked to the grooming area and asked how it went and was told my dog was great as usual. Upon beginning to walk out of the grooming area one of the groomers remarked that I will be charged a dollar for every minute after 5 pm. I turned around and calmly indicated this was unacceptable. I believe a consumer has every right to dispute something that is patently wrong. I explained the chronology thinking that these groomers may not have been privy to the earlier conversation.They were adamant that this was my fault even with the explained background. They said late charges would be waived but if it happened again this would be strictly enforced. We prefer to support local businesses as often as we can. I thanked them for the consideration and tried to pay. Without any provocation or effort to understand the interaction, the owner of the store aggressively approached me. In a loud voice attempted to dress me down for being rude to his groomers. Without taking his bait, I calmly indicated that he misunderstood the situation. He began screaming at me in a profanity laced tirade while repeatedly pointing his finger in my face within a foot of me, while repeatedly calling me an asshole. I respectfully requested that he stop verbally assaulting me and not point his finger in my face. Not once was my tone above conversational, even mentioning that he was the only one yelling and being disrespectful. He continued his profanity laced tirade and finger pointing for at least 7 minutes. I continued to try to reason with him to no avail. After the tirade wound down he walked over to the grooming area and advised that all my dog's future grooming appts were to be canceled. Overhearing this, as he walked back to the cash wrap, I asked if he had just canceled all future grooming appts for my dog. He screamed yes and continued to tell me off some more. I calmly asked this owner if it might be better to step back and interview all groomers that day to truly understand the situation. For a moment it seemed cooler heads prevailed and he said we can keep our next appointment, but that my daughter was not allowed to drop off or pick up, and that I had to and if the lateness occurred again we would not be allowed back. Again, although his behavior was reprehensible and unprofessional, I did not take the bait and simply replied asking if we were able to keep our remaining appts on the grooming schedule or just the next one? Seemed reasonable given what had transpired. At this, the owner restarted his profanity laced tantrum and inappropriate finger pointing, adding that he wanted me to get out of his store. He aggressively walked over to the door where my dog was standing and seriously approached my dog in a threatening manner. While keeping my dog in view so as not to have any animal abuse occur, I looked at the owner and, again calmly asked if he prefer I leave immediately or after I pay. He didn't even respond, so I proceeded to pay for the grooming ridiculously even adding a tip even after all that had happened. After getting my receipt I tried to leave, and instead of leaving well enough alone this owner continued his childish tantrum also yelling that I should never come back. I responded that this would not be a problem and that it was so unfortunate that he injected himself into the situation without doing any due diligence to understand what had occurred. I went above and beyond to remain calm making every attempt to diffuse his ridiculous behavior. He should not be in customer service. He should not be allowed anywhere near families most precious members. He is unhinged and his behavior is dangerous if not illegal.

We asked left to waste time and came back to check if she was done and she was ready for our pet and she wasn't. We then asked if we should reschedule and she fully cussed us out because we asked her that. There have been few times that she has half groomed our dog and we had to bring him back or he would go there fine and come back itching or cut wrong. Do not trust them with your pet and please find a new place because this is not a good business!!

I brought in three dogs, all of which were done by the same person in under two hours. That alone should tell you something. All three of my dogs have uneven hair, and it looks like my lab mix wasn't even cut. When I got there the lady tried to explain to me something about my lab, but my two little dogs saw me and were barking loudly to greet me from the cage they were in. She covered her ears. Who covers their ears? She deals with dogs all day but cannot stand to hear them? Come to find out, she shaved a huge piece of hair off of my dogs butt. He looks stupid.. A huge chunk of hair is missing from his behind... Then to make matters worse, she charged my card twice, I had to call my bank. Worst groomer around!
