Absolutely unacceptable grooming experience. My dog has been groomed here before without issue so I brought him back. While he can be anxious during grooming, multiple professional groomers have handled him without any issues. This staff clearly lacks the training or patience to work with anything other than a perfectly compliant dog. They shaved him down before even bathing him! Then called me about an hour later to pick him up because he was "difficult." He received no bath, no nail trim, no proper grooming--nothing--yet they still charged me. Charging for an incomplete, failed service is unacceptable. The groomer was rude and dismissive, even suggesting I "take him to the vet since he is "old" which made no sense given that this same business groomed him six months ago without any problem. No other groomer has ever had an issue with him. The manager was equally unprofessional and showed zero empathy, repeatedly stating, "You were given a service so we charged you half," instead of addressing the situation. My dog was also left sitting in a kennel before they even attempted grooming, despite us arriving on time. He came back visibly stressed and shaked and basically traumatized. No wonder people are running away from chain pet stores for services. This place should not be offering grooming. They're not equipped to handle different pets. Our australian Labradoodle was groomed today. Our dog did have mats and was told the cut would be short. Apparently the mats resulted in our dog being shaved to the skin and her beautiful eyelashes were cut also. My wife and I were shocked . I decided to call the store and talk to the groomer. He was unavailable and I asked for him to call me back. I did receive a call back and it was the manager. I thought I was speaking to the groomer and then he told me I did not groom your dog , I am the manager. This guy did not have a course in customer satisfaction. I will be kind and just call him an idiot.As a result of this encounter I will never step foot in this business. Beware if you have a dog that has a lot of fur and has mats and beware of dealing with a manager that has no customer relationship experience. read more

I used to hate going to big pet stores. It seemed workers never cared about my business or knew the products they carried. This store is NOT that at all! The Pet Supplies Plus in Mequon is amazing! The owner is often there working alongside his crew. Everyone is friendly and eager to try to help. Workers keep the store clean and well stocked which must be hard because they've got everything! I go so often that I'm greeted like a family member and everyone knows my dog. I like that! It makes me feel appreciated for my effort to support this local business. I like the fact the management takes time to ask how I'm doing. They answer my questions about products. When I send a friend or neighbor to see them, they thank me for the business. It makes me appreciate having them in my community! Try not to bug out in here but don't go in a hurry -- enjoy the experience. The store is like Doggie wonderland! You can get your dog groomed or DIY wash. You can buy fancy pet food or limited ingredient products. You can buy toys for every kind of pet. If you don't see what you need, you can ask if they can order it. They even have very services!!! They have online, curbside, in-store, auto-order, and delivery! They follow CDC guidelines so if you're fully vaccinated, you can go mask-free OR wear a mask if that's more comfortable. During the Pandemic, they helped me keep my service dog, Buddy, comfortable, healthy, and safe. If you sign up on-line, you'll get amazing coupons and emails about products. It's just easy and fun with this group. They make things affordable! They make the experience pleasurable. The location is convenient. The hours are accommodating. The staff is friendly. I booked a bath and brush service for my dog that included a bath, blow dry, brush, nail trim and ear cleaning. When I picked my dog up he was still wet and his nails were not cut. I was told it was because he didn't like the blow dryer and didn't like to have his nails trimmed. I paid ahead along with a twenty percent tip which I would have omitted had I seen my dog first. I'm pretty happy with the Glendale Pet Supplies Plus store, especially since it's a bit closer to home, but I was excited to see that there was another option in the North Shore with the opening of the Mequon PSP at the Pavilions as we do find ourselves in that neck of the woods a fair amount between Bed, Bath and Beyond, Marshalls, Metro Market, and the Marcus theatre. The Mequon store is definitely brighter than the Glendale store, on account of how new it is, and the entire store feels more open despite not being any bigger than its more southern counterpart. On this latest visit, though, I was disappointed to find a very meager selection of dog clothes available--our pooch was named "Best Dressed" at his Doggy Daycare and when you get a reputation like that, the stakes just get higher! I love this store! I use the self-serve dog wash every week. It's well-designed, clean, and reasonably priced. The staff here are all friendly, kind and helpful. My dog is relaxed when he gets his bath, which is a bonus because he's a 120 lb. Malamute with a long coat. Lots of fur! read more

What an awesome experience me and my son had today! If you are in need of anything fish this is the place to go! Usually we wonder into pet stores, look around and just kind of settle on the fish we pick with what little knowledge we pick up from google. Today was totally different, we were approached by Paige and she was with us every step of the way and knew literally everything and then some!!! She was able to guide us to the exact type of chiclids that would work best with what what we already had, the size, genders everything!!! The entire fish area and tanks were all immaculate and it definitely didn't go unnoticed! She told us she has a passion for what she does and takes special care of each tank and different types of fish daily and that includes cleaning them frequently to ensure the health of the fish!
