The good thing about this place is that you can call same day and bring your dog in for a quick (3-4 minute) nail trim without making an appointment. The only downside is that they never seem to get her nails as short as some of the other places I've taken her in the past. I know they're worried because she has black nails, but I know others have gotten them shorter. At first I thought it was a fluke, but my husband even noticed the same thing. All-in-all, I would keep going here if I'm in a jam because of the convenience and the value (only $6).

I had spoken with her about trimming the backs of his legs & his chest hair, showed her pictures from the Internet, & she had said that she understood & that it would be no problem! I tearfully refused to pay full price since she ruined his adorableness, & she offered to split the fee. When we got home, he was acting traumatized & aggressive, not his usual self at all! His collar had been adjusted & was way too tight, he could barely breathe! And he had several hairs stuck to his eye. I will never go back there! WARNING! Don't go to Lynns Doghouse if you love your dog!

We were recently called and told that our dogs had developed diarrhea while we were away. They told us they would (w/ our permission) give them medication and then agreed to keep us informed as to how they were doing. THEY DIDN'T. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. When we picked our dogs up the lady checking our dogs out to us was extremely unfriendly and stand-offish and made us wait while they "got our dogs ready", which has NEVER happened before (been using this kennel since 2017). They were extremely sneaky and I was actually asked why I was picking them up early, which I wasn't. JUST A BAD PLACE TO PUT YOUR PETS. I GIVE THIS PLACE A -10

Angel is a mix breed but mostly Maine Coon (a long furry cat that looks like a little lion). When the owner showed up she came into our home and of course our cat was not real excited to see any one new so my daughter got her carrier and she was put in there (no problem). I was asked how I wanted her trimmed.I replied : Bathe her, just thin her out and even her up don't shave her. When she was brought back into our home and let out of the carrier she looked like a 'rat' most all of her fur was removed. When I came out of 'shock' I was told she had two really bad mats and she wouldn't have looked right unless she took her fur all the way down. My daughter said she looked like a scissors cut not a 'even' clippers type cut. My biggest concern is she was in our driveway only a few steps from our front door,'why did she not come into the house and ask me to come out and see what she said she had to do before just doing it' ? She was here for less than a half hour and now in my opinion she may have just taken the fastest way to get done and collect the fee. Bathe, cut, dry, and moisturize was supposed to all be done. Maybe her two children were getting restless ,I don't know but we won't be using her services again. Too high of a price for services ( $100 ) and we don't think she acted like the professional she should have been.

I called this morning to verify his vet records had been received as requested my vet to, so I could email them myself if they hadn't. Upon speaking with staff, I was notified that they would not be boarding my dog because he had not completed a "Temperament Test" and because he was not neutered. The temperament test was NEVER disclosed to me during my phone call to book, nor was it reminded or mentioned when I received a text to confirm his booking over a week ago. Had I been notified at any point within the last two months i would have made other arrangements as my pet is also NOT NEUTERED. So here I am, the day before I leave for a 9 day 1,600 mile, $4K vacation and being told GOOD LUCK BY HATTIES! Thankfully a family member can help us out and ill be saving nearly $500 but that isn't NEARLY the point. The point is you had MANY opportunities to remind YOUR CLIENT of your requirements. NO notice of temp test or neuter mandate during our phone call, NO reminders when I got the confirmation text, NO email reminders. (Which is funny considering i get 5 emails a month directly from "Hattie Larlham"). I understand and would have gladly complied with a temperament test had I known one needed to be performed. I also would have said NO THANK YOU TWO MONTHS AGO WHEN I CALLED if the lady scheduling my booking even bothered to ask if my 2 year old male King Charles Cavalier was neutered. Disappointed, frustrated and panicked is quite the understatement.

She has been to obedience school, goes to walking trails, to the store, and is boarded in a home with other dogs and had no issues.
