New dog owner here, placed my first, and likely my last, order online, three items for autoship. They were not shipped, 2 out of the three (although all three were listed on the invoice that the driver left) items I ordered were delivered via a door dash driver, who dumped the bag on the ground in the rain without even knocking. I called the store to ask where the missing item was, and heard the young man who answered the phone tell his manager that he forgot to give it to the driver. I asked to speak to the manager myself, and he told me that she was on break and would call me back. Not cool- end of the day on a Sunday- the one item we needed, my dogs actual food, is the one they did not deliver- how do you miss a 12lb bag of dog food and remember two small treat bags??? Went to get worms for my lizard as usual... this time passed by this pet store and got what I thought was a 50ct super worm container... got home try to feed my pet was only 7 in the container, come back to the store witch is already a pain in..... there was nomore of those containers... grab 2 25ct to make the 50 i tried to buy on first place and i had to pay 2 dollars in difference... not a single im sorry... i even got attitude from the manager in charge... andddd not only that.... got home and put all the worms in one container and was missing more than 15 lol.... its the worst!!!! This place is dangerous, we almost leave with a new pet every time we are here. Their prices are good and staff are super friendly. The staff are always really helpful and seem to be knowledgeable about the animals. The last time we were there, an employee had a chameleon out and asked if we wanted to buy one and let us hold it. We ended up staying there for like an hour on a Saturday night lol. read more

The staff is great. My kids and I are here weekly and they teach us all about how to care for the fish and geckos we own. If you want a certain type of fish, the guys will order it for you! Super nice. The store is clean and they carry all types of animals. Ferrets, bunnies, birds, chameleons, scorpions, snakes, sometimes cats, and more. Our favorite pet store!! read more

So I came here to get some ghost shrimp to feed my fish and was greeted by Chester, gentleman with multi-colored long hair he was very nice and provided excellent customer service also did so promptly. They sold my sister a fish that required brackish water and didn't even tell her. I, because I've worked at many different fish and pet stores knew it was brackish and that's what saved the fish. So much misinformation from them. This wasn't the first time. Education is the key to pet stores. Pet parents look to us to guide them without having to go to a vet (if not a necessity). This store should really have a guide to study on the types of fish they have and what is required. I wonder how many other fish were sold without needed information. Education is huge. read more

I was really amped to start my new fish tank. I stood there for maybe 40 minutes without any help. Someone who I believe was the manager finally said he was going to check on a bundle for me. Sadly, he saw some of his buddies and proceeded to carry out a conversation. This went on for another 5 minutes before I walked out. Rude. No costumer service. Not enough variety. I even saw a dead eel on the floor (blood gushing & all) Stay away from this place and just go to the pet store near the book store. They are pretty good there. UPDATE: I recently went in to give them another chance. They were very helpful and even apologized for before. The manager remembered my face even after a month later. He was able to even give me a discounted price to amend what happened. They still have a ton of work to do in terms of bettering their customer service, but I really like the effort. Awful manager Artie does not stand behind PetSupermarket's products. My family did shop at this NEW store often. We have two toy Yorkies, a large terrier, a blue and gold McCaw and fish. We are pet lovers! So is all of our friends! We purchased Bio FleaTick Dog shampoo (which PS stores appear to be phasing out, this product did not work), we bought two bottles. Mgr Artie, stated to me that because I purchased over ten days ago, I could not return or exchange the items, there was nothing he could do for me and the rewards card means nothing. Really! How can you confirm so soon if the dogs shampoo is working, plus we are a busy family and time spent again to go back to PS. So we ended up telling this manager, our family is never shopping at this store again, because they do not stand behind their products. So friends who read this bad experience (X3 for us same guy), Artie was horrible to us before about returns/exchanges and this incident was the final straw. We had to go to another PetSupermarket which ended up being a five star one, off Dixie Hwy in Boynton Beach who (I wish I knew her name) were so awesome kind and politely had me select my new purchases and exchanged the dog shampoos, happily and without having me feel bad for returning a product they were selling that wasn't a good product. There are too many other pet stores & online choices to deal with an unfriendly Artie at the Boynton Lakes Plaza, on Congress Avenue & Hypoloxo Rd location. Do not go there friends. Mgr. Artie obviously does not have the finesse and understanding for pet owners or their pets, and lack of empathy, well being and care pet owners do have for their companions.
