Our puppy that almost died on us
Yvette C.

We bought our dog from what we thought was a rescue center. It's not. Our dog came home and we were in love. We got him June 2020 height of the pandemic. Though I continued the diet they told me a few days later he got sick. Fact is, that my dog was sick when they gave him to me. I literally thought he was going to die on me, I had to take him to the emergency vet because it was late at night. The moment he came home, he became part of our family. Almost 1000$ later of IV, medication and testing he was going to be okay. Don't support this place. Go to the humane society or priceless pets. Those are true rescue centers. We still love our boy, but I will never support a place that's shady to sell sick dogs to people who just want to complete their family.

I got my first dog here 17yrs ago. He recently passed away. Tried to adopt another dog from various online sites, and was very discouraged. I decided to revisit PetStop again after 17yrs. Not sure it still existed. We walked in and found our fur baby Sunni. He is the best dog. We adopted him within minutes. Everyone was so helpful and nice.

Eye and nasal discharge are too signs of upper respiratory infection and doesn't seem like they're getting treated

If I could give 0 stars I would. THESE PEOPLE DONT TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS AT ALL. The cats and kittens all have eye ulcers or upper respiratory infections and are still out with the other somewhat healthy ones when they should be quarantined. I'm a vet tech so I know how animals should get care and not to mention the terrible living conditions. There's a 2 foot rabbit in a 3 foot cage. Many of their dogs are too big for their cages. My Guinea pig who I made the mistake of getting from this place has had constant skin issues costing hundreds at the vet and I solely blame this place. Whoever owns this place bit off waaayyyyy more than they can chew and I'm happy to say you're getting reported for neglect.

This place is amazing. They're all very helpful. They have some amazing and sweet animals there. They always have a huge variety. And they sell all kinds of necessities for the huge variety of pets. All reasonably priced as well. I'd recommend giving them a try or visiting if you're interested in adopting a pet.

We adopted our Marlee from this store almost 5 years ago; her name was Greta at the time and she was the sweetest little thing ever. Well, she has grown up to be the best dog we have had as a family. She truly believes she's human and is fiercely protective of all of us but especially our daughter. We are so grateful to have found her! It's been a while and long overdue to post. We know the owner had a hard time parting with her and we don't blame her but hopefully these pics will share how loved she is and how much we appreciate you allowing us to make her a part of our family :)

I bought my first puppy for my son here. The service provided was amazing and they prepared me for everything needed for him. I will most definitely recommend to all looking for a puppy. Don't go by the review check it out for yourself!!! Support small businesses.

LOVE this shop. Owner and Kelly are very sweet and really care about the puppies and animals they have. I know they get a lot of smack for keeping the puppies in cages but they do get out and honestly if you go one day and come back the next they are likely gone by then. Cages are always empty by how quickly puppies are adopted/bought. Yes they are technically bought but come from shelters and regardless need homes. They aren't made to order like vehicles. They need loving homes. Puppies don't get neutered and honestly I think it's because they aren't even there for even 24 hours usually. Very rare. Instead you place a deposit and get it back when you prove you have done all the neutered/sprayed your puppy. $75 I believe. I like coming back for the shots too which are usually $15. Puppies are also bathed and groomed before being adopted which is always nice. Two dogs so far from here. Attached is Rosie.

My little girl some months after joining the family!

After reading all the embellished negative reviews I felt compelled to put my few cents in. That said, I am thankful to this place because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have my precious Maltese today. My little girl is a very special dog with many special needs as she was severely abused by her owners before being rescued by the owner of this place. In fact my dog was so emotionally not well that she sat in the back of this business for 3 months before I picked her up, the owner was about to take her to her home even, as no one wanted her. The fact that this place cared for her for 3 months without turning much of a profit, shows compassion for these animals, specially when it comes to those with special needs. I only paid $250 for my dog and I truly don't think that what I paid even began to cover 3 months of board and grooming, feedings & shots. That shows that these people truly are for the animals. With regards to the establishment, yes the place is not perfect, it is small with animals in crates however, is it NOT the way some of the hateful reviews are painting it out to be. I have been frequenting this place for over a year and I have yet to smell the putrid smells all the other Yelpers are talking about. In fact every time I am there the owner is always cleaning something. The place is certainly not perfect however it stands for a good cause and it is solely ran by women. Enough reasons to earn my support!

Our beautiful puppy, Keona.

They have been an…read moreabsolute lifesaver for me--not only helping with two puppy litters, but also consistently taking incredible care of all three of my Goldendoodles through their grooming services. The owner and the store clerk, Nick, are both extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about what they do. Every time I walk in, I feel supported, informed, and taken care of. Their customer service is truly exceptional. What really sets them apart is their mobile grooming service--anytime I've been in a bind, they've come through for me without hesitation. That kind of reliability is hard to find! If you're looking for a place you can trust with your dogs, this is it. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality care and a team that treats your pets like family.

I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN…read more I took my maltipoo last week. I took her here maybe once before years ago. This is not my normal groomer. My dog just went to the vet for a physical exam just hours before and there were no issues. She is an indoor dog & does not socialize with any other dogs. She has never had an open wound, nor any incident with any other groomer in her life (5 years). My dog came home with cuts on her legs and face and I just found another on her ear this morning (it was masked by hair). I contacted the company and the groomer said the scab on her legs must have got caught on the clippers. She also said she doesn't like being cut on her face. I do not believe either of these statements. She has never had issue at any other groomer. My main complaint is that none of these were mentioned to me when I picked her up. It was only said after I called and told them what I found. The owner did contact me and apologize and offered to refund half the grooming price. I do appreciate that. However, Now that I found another cut on her ear, I'm honestly even more upset. There is no way that she went in there with all these cuts without my knowledge and without a licensed vet noticing them. She didn't because those cuts weren't there prior to her grooming, although the groomer claims they were. I should've have requested a full refund and medical care/products. Although I did receive an apology after contacting them, it doesn't negate this fact this shouldn't have ever happened. Now I have to spend money tend to her wounds medically and don't know what to do since this has never happened before. I'm just very irritated with the whole situation and hope I don't find any more cuts.
