I then saw why an appointment was needed as they only had 3 tubs. Everything was extremely clean and all the equipment worked well, as well as the water pressure and temperature staying consistent (we been to other places in the past that practically froze or almost burnt out dogs). So next time, we will follow the policy and make an appointment as this has got to be one of the nicest self-bathing places we have ever been to. Customer service was extremely friendly and helpful. Best self-serve dog washing station in SLC! We've been to a few self-wash stations in the SLC area and we think Pet Spawt is the best one! Why? The store is clean and the staff is friendly, but most importantly, their unique shampoo water mixing system! Their shampoo and conditioners are already mixed in their water system, you can simply select 1,2,3, or 4 and the water will come out already mixed with shampoo/conditioner. They also have 3 different types of shampoo you can choose from. Hours: open every day except Monday, but they are open Sundays! There aren't many that open on Sundays, which is another reason why I love Pet Spawt. You don't need an appointment for weekdays but for weekends, you need to call or schedule an appointment online in advance. read more

Second time we've been here because they are open on Sunday. They make you stop blow drying if your dogs hair is blowing around due to the blow dryer... which is literally the whole point you would go to dog wash and not just wash at home? There's three other dog wash spots 15 min distance that are accommodating to Australian Sheppards or any other breed with long hair that are way better than this place with friendly staff and clean tubs! read more

Pet Spawt is consistently amazing. The staff here is so down to earth, friendly, and always smiling! They really take their time with each customer to help in any way possible. I usually come with one dog, but I adopted another dog recently, so I brought both in for a bath. They were helpful and offered either a divider in the tub so I could wash both at once, or I could have one waiting while the other was getting bathed. Since I am used to having just one dog here, I decided to wash one at a time. Their system is really easy to use as you switch back from water, to shampoo or conditioner. My dogs did really well when we were here together and we can't wait to go back again soon. They do have a bath punch card they keep track of for you, and you will get a free bath after 10. These people are the greatest. I have a loud large hairy and reactive dog who hates his baths. They are so kind they do not bat an eye at his antics and never make me feel badly. I love a good referral. We came here to try out their dog wash. It was pretty cool. Spacious. Clean. Safe. Our pup loved every minute of his bath. We were able to chose between two different shampoos, a face shampoo, conditioner and rinse. They had brushes and furminators to use during the grooming. Even little treats to keep your dog happy. Seriously, they have everything, you don't have to bring anything but your dog. We also ended up picking up a furminator for 10$ less than what we would pay at petsmart. This is an incredible one-stop-shop. They carry all the best and relevant dog and cat products. They are one of only a couple of shops in the state that carry Zignature (the brand I feed all of my pups). The also have the Fluff n Tuff toys, which are the ONLY plush chew toys that my big dogs can't destroy within a matter of moments. They have a great variety of food and high quality treats, and if that wasn't enough, they also have a self serve dog wash with high tech features. No need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner because it's literally built INTO the water hose. It used to be that I would have to drive to MULTIPLE specialty pet stores in order to get all of my preferred products, but now I have these guys! Plus... We have a large dog that takes a while to dry, so we tried the DIY bath tubs. The shop is clean and the the owner and staff are so friendly. The big tubs with side walls make bathing our dog so easy (as opposed to crouched our bathtub at home). I love the soap and conditioner dispenser that is integrated with the water hose (think DIY car wash). Also, the industrial blow dryers make quick work of getting our fluffy dog dry. Pet Spawt provides very thing you need too: waterproof aprons, scissors, brushes, dog treats, shampoo and conditioner.
