I have been using Lydia's Pet Sitting on the Run for almost 3 years now. That says something right there. I have many positive things to say, but let me start with her willingness to always meet my requests. I have never heard no from her in 3 years. And I often have very last minute needs. She bends over backwards to make sure she can do it. And during the busy times (the holidays etc) of the year she sends out reminders about booking your needs early. Lydia, and the staff she employs have always been wonderful and respectful to our home. They go above and beyond to care for our home and pets. They turn lights on and off, take out and bring in garbage cans, water plants, bring in mail and packages. And will do pretty much anything anything you ask. I find her pricing to be very reasonable for all that they do. I do not feel comfortable putting my dogs in a kennel and much prefer for them to be in their home when we are away. Lydia and her staff make that possible and also provide an added sense of security because you know your home is being visited frequently. I would highly recommend this service! read more

I give Pet Sitting on the Run 5 stars -- mainly because of the following reasons. 1. Reliable -- I can always count on my dog being walked on time for the full amount of time. 2. Flexible -- both me and my husband work in the city and there are times where things come up and we won't get home until later. Pet Sitting on the Run has been more than flexible and accommodating to ensure our dog is fed and let out at the last minute. 3. Thoughtful -- I'm constantly amazed by the thoughtfulness of Pet Sitting on the run. When we were experiencing a deep freeze, lydia turned on the faucet to ensure our pipes didn't freeze. Being a new homeowner, I never thought of this. 4. Loving -- it is obvious that Pet Sitting on the Run loves animals. I know my dog loves Lydia just by the reaction he has when he sees her. Having used PSOTR for over 3 years for both weekly & vacation care I cannot say enough great things about them. Lydia runs an extremely buttoned up business that is always accomodating when it comes to scheduling, last minute changes, bringing in mail/garbage cans etc. The daily "report cards" are so reassuring to receive via text and her and her her staff are hands down amazing dog handlers. They have been caring for my very large Akita and I know he is in great hands. They truly care deeply for the pets they care for and always go the extra mile often keeping me apprised of things I had not yet thought of as it relates to my pet or home. I've been using Pet Sitting on the Run for about 10 years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else. We had an older, weak dog who required daily care in his last couple years and was well taken cared for everyday while we were work. Now, our newly adopted 2 year old "puppy" gets a daily visit and I wouldn't have anyone else care for our pet. I like that Lydia is very responsive, flexible and I always know my pet is in good hands. I get a daily report (in as much detail as I want, or just a quick recap of the visit) He always has a walk, fresh water and his favorite toy with treats. I have used them on and off over 10 year. The owner Princess is very professional,their policies are written where there is no confusion and very well organized. I have asked multiple times can they come at a certain time as I forget their policys and they always let me know they can never guarantee a time but within their set shifts. They are always detailed when they check in and if there are concerns I get a call from the owner to let me know . Pet Sitting on the Run is a God send! The owner Lydia and her staff are wonderful with our 3 cats. We can go away and not have to worry about them because we know they are going to get lots of TLC while we are gone. She communicates with us via email to let us know how our kitties are doing and at one time when we had an older cat get sick while we were in Hawaii, she took her to the vet and made sure she was taken care of.
