I moved to the burbs and going through depression for my dog that he can't attend everyday like he used to. But I'll still drive him there myself from Arlington Heights! Crazy? I think not. After extensive, Virgo research (which is basically a PhD dissertation in searching for a good enough place for my boo) I can't find a replacement for this daycare. The owner, Jose, is 100% reliable and a dog whisperer.

He sure found them at Fetch N Play. From the first day he started going he has been the happiest dog ever. From the minute Martin opens the door or rings the doorbell our Nico is wagging his tail and super excited to leave. He waits by the window waiting for the arrival of the van with all his riding buddies. He comes home four or five hours later, a very happy and tired pup ready for a nice long nap. Jose and Martin are two of the nicest people in the world. Loving the pups and always caring for them. After only a few weeks of going we needed our pup boarded, and Jose took him in for a long weekend. Nico came home as if nothing had changed. He was happy to be home, but could not wait until the next day to go back to puppy day care. Jose is very accommodating and flexible with scheduling and paying. Which brings me to the best part of all. Fetch N Play is the best kept secret in the city when it comes to doggie day care. It is incredibly reasonable and the best value for your money. A half day of playtime for what it costs to have a dog walker come for 1/2 hour - and they pick-up and drop-off to boot. Honestly, best thing that has happened to our pup and us.

Pam and her husband always take great care of my little Maltese mix. My dog was rescued from a…read moreshelter and was abused before animal control rescued him, which is why he doesn't easily trust people. He is also typically afraid of other dogs. By the time I came to pick him up from an over night stay at Pam's Pet Sitting, he was jumping in Pam's husband's lap and chasing the other dogs around the yard! I can always rest at ease whenever my dog is at Pam's. She also walks the dogs daily and makes sure they get plenty of exercise.

I met her and she seemed nice and all went well...that is until she presented me with a contract to sign. I know most dog daycare facilities have some sort of agreement to protect them from liability and I get that. However, when I wanted something added into the agreement stating that only Pam would give my dog medicine and that I didn't want her walked due to my dog's old age but she flat out refused. I wasn't sure why because it's not a big deal and I was ready to sign it and move on. If anything it provides security for me as a pet parent and also for her too. She just said she's take care of it and not to worry about it. Yeahhhh, sorry but that's not good enough for me. This should have been a red flag right there. I tried to ignore this but I couldn't get past that weird encounter so I had to take a hard pass on using her services. Eventually I was able to find another dog sitter for Molly who had no problem supporting my care plan for her. I hold no ill will towards her but because of my experience I can't recommend using Pam's dog daycare.

I'm what you call a "helicopter dog mom", I had taken all my dogs to one groomer that I knew personally so switching to an unknown is a big deal. Mo could not have been better for my dog. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job and caring for your pets. When I dropped my dog off, she was very anxious and didn't want me to go. By the time I came to pick her up, she didn't want to leave! Very thankful for the time and energy Mo put in to making my girl feel her best.

I avoided…read morewriting a review because I didn't want to write it from a place of anger but four years later I think about this everyday and I will never get over it. I feel that it's unfair to not share my experience with others so they can make their own choices. I had 2 dogs and one was a very selective dog, meaning he didn't get along with all dogs he met. Miranda was referred to us by a friend whose dog had similar issues. When we met Miranda to see her facility, I asked her if she would be cresting the dogs when she left the building. (I asked this for a reason) she told me that if they were not crated at home, she would not crate them and they could just stay in her living space. It turns out that Miranda was crating my dogs together when she left them and that is ultimately what led to my dogs death. My selective dog could not be crated with any other dogs. If he was and anything triggered him, he would redirect onto another dog in his crate, even his brother and they would fight. This happened so Miranda came home and found that my dogs had a fight in their crate. She took the selective dog, Carson out to bathe him and ultimately left him unattended in the sink, tethered to the wall. He then tried to jump out of the sink and you can imagine the rest. We left for the weekend with 2 dogs and came back having only one.
