He sure found them at Fetch N Play. From the first day he started going he has been the happiest dog ever. From the minute Martin opens the door or rings the doorbell our Nico is wagging his tail and super excited to leave. He waits by the window waiting for the arrival of the van with all his riding buddies. He comes home four or five hours later, a very happy and tired pup ready for a nice long nap. Jose and Martin are two of the nicest people in the world. Loving the pups and always caring for them. After only a few weeks of going we needed our pup boarded, and Jose took him in for a long weekend. Nico came home as if nothing had changed. He was happy to be home, but could not wait until the next day to go back to puppy day care. Jose is very accommodating and flexible with scheduling and paying. Which brings me to the best part of all. Fetch N Play is the best kept secret in the city when it comes to doggie day care. It is incredibly reasonable and the best value for your money. A half day of playtime for what it costs to have a dog walker come for 1/2 hour - and they pick-up and drop-off to boot. Honestly, best thing that has happened to our pup and us.

The fireworks go off all summer long in my neighborhood, but the July 4th weekend (which was at least five nights of ear-popping long this year) is the worst time ever for my extra-nervous pup and her baritone-barking sister. Not only did Tony take my girls for a fun daycare of play with their best friends - yes on such a national holiday - he also agreed on last minute to take them in overnight. Because he made extra sure to keep them close, in a quieted and air-conditioned location my girls felt safe and didn't have to bark their poor hearts off at the bomb-sounds outside! And I had my first decent night's sleep in almost a week! Thanks again Anthony and the Crew!!!

She is clearly obsessed with the place since she loses her mind every time they come to pick her up. I've moved a few times so she has gone to a few dog daycares, and this one is my favorite by far. Tony has taken his own time to have lengthy talks about ways to get my picky eater pup to eat more food and gain weight and about training and confidence building for her. Most places would charge for photos and he sends them without you even asking. The rates are the most affordable I've seen and the pick up/drop off option is a godsend for someone who doesn't have a car. This is definitely not a place where your dog will get lost among 100 others - I feel so comfortable sending her here since the staff knows her well and is in there mingling with the pack. You hear horror stories about dogs attacking other dogs at daycares where the staff isn't attentive or the place is over max capacity - I never have to worry about this here. Thank you Fido's K9! You are the best!

I speak from the heart when I tell you that there are no words that can fully describe the level of commitment, care, and compassion that this vet has shown my pets. My dog who lived to 15 had a series of health issues, and Companion went above and beyond to provide him with great care. I truly believe they prolonged his life. When he passed away, Companion sent me a card signed by every member of the staff, each with a handwritten note. It was an incredibly meaningful and unexpected gesture during a time of intense grief. My take on the bad reviews? Companion is not an emergency room, nor do they claim to be. Despite that fact, there are some reviewers here who seem to assume that Companion is a Wal-Mart of pet services and therefore should be able to do everything. That's just plain ignorance on the part of the reviewer. If your part is having an emergency, there are many resources online to direct you to a nearby emergency room. But for standard veterinary and grooming needs, Companion Oak Park is the best I've found in the Chicago area.

He spent a half day with comparably sized young dogs and had great fun. The facility is indeed spotless. There is no odor or mess to be seen. Safety is very important to the owner ( who has been my groomer for my late dog since 2008). Close supervision of the dogs is demonstrated. The staff love dogs. It is sincere . I commend them as I do the owner of Doggy Day Play. I am the most observant pet person so I watch everything. I highly recommend this business. There is Video View as the system so that pet owners can watch over their pets . I also want to say that as in any business there is a natural turnover of staff. Young people move on. They go to college. They leave the area. They experience difficulties that cause them to leave: tardiness etc. as well as pursuing other jobs. And I know the physical plant called Doggy Day Play. I drive a distance . I've used the toilet. I walk through the facility. I see no filth . I see no rat traps as alleged in a fake review. I'm sensitive to some fragrances so I provide my own dog wipes for my longer haired dog. He's never been bitten. He's never been harmed. I've never been cheated on a bill. He HAS gotten himself dirty . He's a dog not a professor! Nobody is stupid or rude to me . This is a local business! Why wouldn't a client go right to Jill the actual owner if they had an issue? Why try to ruin a good business ? It's a good place to safely allow your dog to play . I've never boarded there. But I'm never away from home. Support do not destroy small business. They matter very much in the communities!

It is with a very heavy heart that I post this review... I absolutely had high hopes for this place…read morebut I am enraged and incensed by the mistreatment and irresponsible, unprofessional , ignorant behavior by the staff here. I ENTRUSTED them with the care of my 1 yr old doodle. Who as any puppy parent knows, is the love of my life and a family member to myself and my husband. I watched in complete horror and agony as a staff member continually and repeatedly shoved my dog in the face, aggressively away from them as they lazily sat of the ground text messaging on the phone. Petting and inviting other dogs to play but making a point to push my dog in the face and body to get away from them. This person then stood up and shoved my dog away from them entirely... Caring for dogs is the very essence of your job! You can image my complete and utter heartbreak as I watched... but momma is crafty and cunning, because I was recording too.... ;-). My sweet boy is not socialized with other dogs well. He looks for comfort from ppl when around other dogs... It was the recommendation of his trainer that we put him in daycare at least once a week and this place came highly recommended. It is a shame, because up until this experience I would have given them glowing reviews. But due to the ignorant behavior of one unprofessional, uncaring, unknowing individual staffer, and the lack of concern from the other staffers for a hurting mom... I can say for a certainty that I wish I could review less than 1 star... I wish I could upload the video of the mistreatment of my baby in its entirety... All of the other puppy parents I've shown the footage to, were enraged! We will see how the Daycare will respond. So far, No apologies yet. I am however posting the pic of his head being shoved, and him being grabbed by the collar and pushed away. So sorry to have to share this, but it has to be known to other parents and dog lovers. Update: I spoke with the Manager Andrew, and I am impressed with the maturity and insightfulness of this young man. I appreciate him calling to have an objective conversation, apologizing and taking ownership and responsibility on the part of his staff. I hope to build the relationship with this daycare going forward because as I've mentioned, I had a great first impression and I hope to reestablish trust.
