The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

Wow, crates are small and stacked on each other and the place was dirty. I should have walked away, but I didn't have a back-up plan For boarding. They told me that they take the dogs a bath before you pick-up, I said ok and left him. I picked him up two weeks later and OMG, my poor baby was so dirty and smelled really bad. I called three days later to let them know what had happened and the girl on the phone told me I should have said something at time of pick-up. Ok, I could have but the place was full of people and I'm not one to make a scene. I called back this week to board him for 2 nights to find out that they put my dog on a DO NOT BOARD LIST. I asked why and they told me that I called to complain and that I had said that because of the condition of my dog at pick-up, I needed to take him to the vet for blood work. I NEVER SAID THAT! He was just dirty, a good bath would have been enough. Long story short, they lie about taking the dogs a bath, they lie about what people say. They are so unprofessional. All they wanted was the money. IF YOU REALLY LOVE YOU PETS, DO NOT BOARD HERE!!! I RATHER PAY $1000.00 FOR A WEEK THEN TAKE HIM BACK THERE.

We took our dog here for training, doggy daycare two days a week and boarding when we were out of town. It cost us thousands of dollars. Our pup successfully learned to sit and stay and lay down and all the other things you expect a dog to know. He will do pretty much anything for a treat. Everything was fine for several months. The feedback we received about our admittedly rambunctious dog was routinely positive. They regularly sent pictures and videos of him playing and having fun. Then some of the good, experienced staff left. In hindsight this should have been a big red flag for us. Apparently, most of the new and remaining staff doesn't know how to deal with animals. Suddenly, our dog, which they trained, was not well behaved enough for them. A few days later they called to say he is no longer welcome here. No conversation. No discussion of more training, if that was their actual concern. Nothing constructive to offer at all. They didn't even have the balls to do it in person. Don't waste your time! All they want is your money. They don't give a damn about your pets!

By the time I came to pick him up from an over night stay at Pam's Pet Sitting, he was jumping in Pam's husband's lap and chasing the other dogs around the yard! I can always rest at ease whenever my dog is at Pam's. She also walks the dogs daily and makes sure they get plenty of exercise.

I met her and she seemed nice and all went well...that is until she presented me with a contract to sign. I know most dog daycare facilities have some sort of agreement to protect them from liability and I get that. However, when I wanted something added into the agreement stating that only Pam would give my dog medicine and that I didn't want her walked due to my dog's old age but she flat out refused. I wasn't sure why because it's not a big deal and I was ready to sign it and move on. If anything it provides security for me as a pet parent and also for her too. She just said she's take care of it and not to worry about it. Yeahhhh, sorry but that's not good enough for me. This should have been a red flag right there. I tried to ignore this but I couldn't get past that weird encounter so I had to take a hard pass on using her services. Eventually I was able to find another dog sitter for Molly who had no problem supporting my care plan for her. I hold no ill will towards her but because of my experience I can't recommend using Pam's dog daycare.
