With that commercial-esque start, we would like to share our experience on Yelp. The past few years, we didn't face a situation where we had to travel without our dogs. But in August, my sister-in-law was getting married and it was hard for my mom who was at home to manage their AM and PM routines. We didn't find too many reviews for pet sitting but decided to give this service a call since they were local. A few days prior to our departure date, Sandy came down to our place to go over the initial consultation and by the end of it, all our concerns were allayed and we felt comfortable enough to let her run the show in our absence. She is very thorough when it comes to getting to know your pets, noting down care-related instructions and health conditions asking relevant questions when in doubt. A natural with animals, both our dogs loved her company from what my mother said. She was very punctual and even sent us updates on how they were doing. Highly recommend the pet sitting service to anyone looking for help.

The prices are extremely reasonable and we are always kept informed via text message how our animals are doing. I have called for short notice visits and extended weekend visits and they can always help or find someone that can. They always leave our home cleaner than when we left it. The Bucks County Critter Sitter could not get any easier to use or better.

So far we've only done a few single days of full day daycare but we're about to board him in a few days and every time we mention "school" he gets super excited! My baby Chloe loves it here!…read more I am a new mommy to a puppy and have anxiety from time to time.. and stay and play always reassures me & very patient with me. Carol is heavens sent and answers all my questions thoroughly and gives me updates when I request. She makes time to send me pics & I love how they post pics on their social media. Right now I'm missing my baby and trying to enjoy vacation but I'm glad to know I left her with a great and loving place. She was there for the full day last week and cried in the parking lot when I picked her up. I can tell she missed it. She's a puppy and they matched her with a perfect match (another puppy) who she played with and also slept in the room with. I love that she is never alone and they have cameras and watch everything. They take into consideration that I get worried, even give advice and very patient. I appreciate this place & they are good prices .. specially for day care. I would recommend a full day & boarding all the way! Thank you to Carol, Cheryl & the team

I was impressed by the reception and instructions for our dog to be interviewed prior to be…read moreaccepted by the Camp in Lawrenceville NJ. Unfortunately, the subsequent interview was a negative experience. I was surprised and disappointed by the staff who had been so caring and positive before the interview. Here is what occurred. We arrived and our dog was taken into the large dog play area as we watched on camera. (btw, My dog is playful, sweet, two years old and has had many positive experience at doggie parks and with playdates) She was always near the back wall of the play area. They brought in the other dogs---as far as I could tell, they brought them in much too quickly. She never left the back wall and it was obvious that she wasn't happy. Once they opened up the outdoor area, her tail went up and she began moving around. At that point (after 30-40 minutes), we decided to let her stay and left as we were told that the staff would be watching her carefully. And, that they would remove another dog that was acting aggressively with other dogs. Around 30 minutes later, we received a call that another dog had attacked her and scratched her nose; that she was bleeding but was now Ok. We went to retrieve her. She was fine even though there were scratches. NO ONE from the Camp explained what happened. NO ONE has ever contacted me to explain or apologize. I believe that when the afternoon part time staff arrived, no one from the morning group had communicated that she was NEW....and they were to watch her carefully. They dropped the ball. They lost a potential customer. Obviously, they are not committed to the welfare of their clients. I would recommend staying away from Camp Bow Wow. What a disappointing experience. .

UPDATE - 3 years later…read more In Dec. it will be 3 years since my dog was discharged from Camp Bow Wow for apparently attacking another dog. Throughout that time Rocky has been to 3 different camps, all who adore him and call him a Gentle Giant. He has never once snapped at a dog despite what Camp Bow Wow has claimed. They blamed my dog when they were short on staff and their counselor to dog ratio was poor. My dog went to camp bow wow almost everyday for 2 years before they discharged him and many other large breeds. If you have a large breed there are many other camps which cater to large dogs. Please spare yourself the heartache, camp now wow only hires young amateurs. Also owners reply 3 years ago is not valid, they have never once spoke to me about my dogs behavior. I called there multiple times a day and there was never complaints, not even a warning. Owner is trying to save face!

The full story of how I lost my healthy dog while she was boarding at R.C. Dog Care is on Facebook…read more Everyone has the right to make their own decision with what to do with their pets. I am just sharing my story, advocating for my Phoebe, and for Bunny who passed a month before her. I have personally had former employees reach out to me sharing that they left because they could not witness the poor treatment of the dogs any longer. Phoebe went there in 2019 and came home. This time she didn't. I hate that Bunny's owners felt this pain before me and I hope no one else ever has to lose their dog. I attached a photo that haunts me. Phoebe in the morning, hours before she was taken to the vet. She looks so scared and in the video she was having trouble breathing. They did not send us this video. I believe she should have been taken in immediately and the vet should have been told that her breathing was labored, which is what I was told (2 days after she passed) was noticed that morning by the facility. Bad things happen, but I believe this could have been avoided. I also cannot believe that after taking Phoebe to the vet and then transporting to the ER and knowing the condition she was in, THEY NEVER REACHED OUT TO MY FAMILY. THEY NEVER APOLOGIZED OR SHARED ANY CONDOLENCES. In my opinion, that is just sick. In my opinion, that shows that they did not care. I am so sorry to my sweet Phoebe that I ever brought her there, I am sorry that I was not with her, and I am so sorry that she was hurting. I won't let people forget her Phoebe should still be here. Phoebe was the sweetest dog. She was my best friend. I won't recover from this loss. RC Dog Care, I will never forgive you for this. I have attached clips of what others have said about witnessing dogs being kicked by staff, getting sick without communication, and other stories. From what I know, Phoebe had a long and painful last day. She didn't deserve that. Rest in peace sweet Phoebe and Bunny
