However, when we noticed that Stella needed more interaction than our busy schedules could give her as a puppy on Redbull....we tried this wonderful, godsend Kennesaw location. She now drags us to the car in the AM.....She pouts if picked up too soon. She absolutely LOVES IT! She gets in the car, gives a little love and big hugs, and falls asleep on the way home....well, except when we go through downtown Kenesaw. The staff is fantastic and the social media post of the dogs playing....so cute! What type of care does she get? Well, when she comes out, she likes SOMETIMES to get a quick hug...but, usually, she must greet the staff in the front first. The staff at Pet Play Place are tremendous! Our boy Finn is the biggest chicken - he is timid and doens't easily warm up to people he doesn't know. Over the last 18 months of coming to PPP - he has totally come out of his shell for their team. The great part about this business was the staff at the front desk. I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy there knowing he was safe and knowing he would have a great time interacting with other puppies. The Worst part was my puppy contracting kennel cough during his first visit there. I just left my Vet office and this was their diagnosis of this weird cough he developed. I brought my pups Ember and Vader a few weeks back for their temperament tests. We were greeted enthusiastically when we walked through the door. The lady who helped is was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ember is our hyper social butterfly working on her manners and is very vocal, but this didn't phase the woman one bit. ber loves it here and comes home wiped out. Everyone we have had contact with has been great. Vader is my shy and timid boy and was very stressed he has not acclimated as well, but they were great with him, they put him up front so he could have some alone time to decompress. and they offered to let me bring him in a little at a time to try to get him to adjust.. If you're looking for cat boarding, please don't board here! Tl;dr Boarded my 2 cats here for 3 nights, found them in their own filth with no food and extremely scared, found they lost weight while being under pets play place care. When I picked up my cats they were basically sitting in their own filth. One of their blankets was just laying in the litter box, which was filled underneath with poop and pee and was clearly not cleaned. It was so bad that the whole blanket was also covered in poop and pee. They ask you to provide your own food if you'd like, which I did (wet, dry and food bowls). I also provided the amount of food they should get and explained that they eat through the day, so to please keep the bowls filled at all times. Not only did I find that none of the wet food was given, they had absolutely no dry food in their cage and the bowls that I brought were on top of the cage, unused. One of the cats was so frightened that he was hidden in the back of the cage and was too afraid to move (there's also dogs right next door, so they can get scared from the constant loud barking and howling). Once we got home they ran to their dry food and started chowing it down, it took them a full day to get relaxed and they both lost weight in this short time, which has never happened even when they were in unfamiliar territory. At this point I wonder if they actually got out of the cage in those days, as they told me forehand that they would let them roam as much as possible. The manager offered to refund the money, as she was extremely embarrassed over the situation. At that point I was hopeful this was just a one time situation gone wrong, she would follow up with me on how this could happen. A week later and after reaching out multiple times with the promise I would be called back, I still haven't heard back. Last but not least, check the total at checkout and ask for the price per night! The prices online are outdated, when I mentioned this they said "uh, it's just wrong online ‍" Second cat gets 25% off, they did not apply that until I pointed out that the price was too high. I've seen other reviewers say the same, their system seems to "forget" this every time. read more

We left our 4 tiny small dogs for 8 days. When we checked out the person told us that the price could be right it was so high. When we got home one our dogs is sick. All of them acted as if they hadn't even had food. They are.much thinner. And no one has called us. I can tell that they were no taking their meds. Avoid this place! We dropped our puppy off for 24 hours at this business. I paid the extra money for a suite so he would be comfortable. When we arrived back to pick him up 24 hours later, he smelled heavily of urine and feces and his fur was matted and disgusting. When we got him home he went straight to his water and food bowl and it was apparent that he had not been fed or watered correctly. He smelled so bad we immediately had to bathe him. I felt so bad for him. I was also charged extra for a half day after being told as long as I arrived before close it was a days charge. I would definitely avoid this place at all costs! read more
