Sarah's home is close to my office. We took our 3.5 month old boxer pup there when we went out of town last Friday. One of the things we liked most about Sarah's Pet Corner is that we didn't have to leave our puppy in a place where he'd be stuck in a tiny cage with little socialization and exercise. After his stay, she provided us with homemade puppy treats, a "report card" of how he did and a dvd slideshow with pictures of him playing. You can tell that she genuinely has a passion for what she does. I know that Brewer had a blast while he was there....he was so tired when we picked him up that he cuddled up with me and slept on my lap for the very first time. Sarah's Pet Corner is absolutely the best in-home boarding and doggy daycare we have found. Sarah is well-trained and experienced. The services at SPC are highly professional and personal. Sarah is awesome with dogs! My hound-mix, Dino, has a lot of separation anxiety and unfortunately after I adopted him, I had to start traveling a lot more in my job. Sarah's is like a second home for Dino - he gets so excited when we pull into the neighborhood and starts "talking" to Sarah as soon as she opens the door. She always responds to my emails when I just 'want to check in' as well as let's me know of any concerns she has. Her daily sheets let me know exactly how his day went when I pick him up and Dino LOVES Miss Sarah's homemade treats she sends home with us. Honestly, you could not ask for a better, more caring environment than Sarah's. She doesn't crate the dogs unless you ask her to, which was a huge positive for me because Dino hates crates. Riley hates going to "puppy hotels"! They don't give him the love and attention he needs. Riley is not use to crates and being left alone all night. Last time my fiance and I boarded him he seemed like a different dog when we picked him up. His ears were low and he seemed sad. This is not the case at Sarah's Pet Corner. First of all, she is a super sweet young lady who genuinely loves animals. Her house is clean and crate free! She took the time to get to know Riley (who is over 100lbs and likes to play the intimidation game during first meetings with people) and they became fast friends. My fiance and I left Riley there for my birthday vacay and when we returned Riley was the happy, tail-wagging dog he is at home. Also, we became stuck in traffic and Sarah was patient and waived the extra fees for keeping him a few extra hours (even though we tipped her the money anyway). We are taking a trip to Ocean City, Maryland this summer and Sarah will be the FIRST person I call to take care of my dog. Please don't send your babies to a place that will crate them only taking them out for exercise once a day (and charge you for it!) when you can take them to a clean, safe, and loving environment where all animals are treated as personal pets not prisoners! Sarah's Pet Corner is amazing. The love and passion that Sarah pours into every pup's stay is remarkable. Our rescue pup, Lula, had trouble with big kennel environments that often lacked enough human interaction for her and created a bit of sensory overload. At Sarah's she played and snoozed and ate and played some more. We cannot speak highly enough of Sarah, her husband Dan and the rest of their team. Prices are reasonable, the team is flexible, the supervision is constant. I can't say enough good things...they're the best! read more

I really can't say enough great things about Sarah's Pet Corner. Personally, she is warm and friendly - and she makes you feel immediately comfortable about leaving your canine friend in the care of strangers. It doesn't take long before you and your dog feel like family. We had to leave our chihuahua, Jake, with Sarah for almost two weeks - and he had never been boarded anywhere before. The thought of him sitting in a cage while we were away was more than we could bear. And then we found Sarah. Thank goodness! We brought him out for a little meet and greet before our trip - and he obviously felt at home almost instantly. And we were so relieved to know that we were leaving him in capable and loving hands, and that he would be treated like a member of the family. And he had a fantastic time (as we can see from the many pictures Sarah took, and the daily updates she provides - which are awesome)! Jake had minor surgery the week before, and Sarah even took Jake to the vet to have his stitches removed while we were away.
