Hands down the best for pet resorts. We always feel guilty when we can't take Taylor with us on trips. The folks at Pet Paradise always take great care of him and we feel less guilty because their facilities are awesome. They always offer the same luxuries at every branch so no worries about trying a new one. St. Augustine is the third resort we have used (two others in Jacksonville.) Love their pool and they are never pushy when suggesting extra things for our dog to enjoy, but they can do it all if needed. You can provide your own toys and food which is nice. With their camera, regular facebook posts of the dogs and the report cards, it's obvious they always go above and beyond with the pets. For what you get, the price is really good. First time we ever boarded our girl while on vacation. We wanted to give ourselves a little break while here on the beach. Mhady loved Pet Paridise! They were friendly and caring and paid great attention to her. They even emailed us with a progress report of how she was doing. I've never gotten this sort of care for my girl back home at a kennel. We watched Mhady from the window and could tell she was very happy here. I highly recommend this place. They do all grooming too. We plan to have her there again before we head home. read more

We have used pet paradise for the past three years. I was so upset to have to board my babies but after a visit to PP I was better. We have had Hummer at play school for three years. He loves to go and always comes home happy and tired We now have all 4 pups groomed at PP. Cindy is our groomer and she loves dogs and has always taken extra good care whole grooming. If she has a question, she calls for verification. When we board our pups , they are always happy when we pick them up. They never seem unhappy or sad. If I have questions, I call and get answers from the staff. If the staff has a question or concern, they call me. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. The last time our guys were boarded , they got report cards!!!! I thought they would be just rote remarks but I was surprised. Each card was different and definitely reflected each pups personality. I board my two dogs here pretty frequently, they were the only facility in town that had space when we first moved here last year & we had to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. Since then, I have used them many times and I frequently call with only a day's notice - it has never been a problem. The staff knows my dogs and genuinely seems to really like them. Our Doxie (who usually hates being boarded) actually trots into this place on her short little legs with her tail wagging like crazy, for her, it it a super fun time. It is also the only groomer in town that I will use after 2 bad incidents at other places. It is clean and friendly and I am a very happy customer! I only wish they had a customer appreciation card like 10 stays and get the 11th free as it does tend to get pricey. read more

Pet Paradise is amazing. We just moved to Ponte Vedra Beach and really like the facility. The staff is great and treats our dog very well. She's gone to daycare a few times and is always exhausted when she comes home. We've also utilized their overnight services and feel the prices are fair for the treatment of our dog. The St Augustine location of Pet Paradise is amazing! They are the most caring and kind people in the world and took amazing care of my pets during Hurricane Matthew. I am eternally grateful to them for keeping our pets safe and comforted even when they didn't have power and during terrible conditions outside. Pet Paradise in St. Augustine has exceeded our expectations. I had a dog for 11 years and never boarded her. We now have two weimaraner rescues and we decided that boarding them was the best idea to ensure they got plenty of exercise and love. We toured a few other places that we would NEVER leave our dogs at for 5 minutes (and these were highly recommended places too). Pet Paradise was the cleanest place and the staff seemed great. So we just returned from our 7 day vacation. They sent us an email with pictures every other day. The staff are passionate about their jobs and very friendly. I have a very anxious dog that hates to be away from home and me. Since we moved down to FL we have had to travel a lot and have been using Pet Paradise. Kept our two border collies there while visiting family last year. Staff was nice, professional and seemed to listen. I thought the place and staff seemed wonderful (even bought a t-shirt). I decided to write this now because I am still upset about their visit. We gave verbal and written instructions regarding feeding, play time and general care/habits. We even had food in ziplock bags labeled w/name, date/a.m. and p.m. I asked for our older/smaller pup not to have group playtime. And for our younger/larger girl that loves to play with others (so much so, that she will climb the fence to try to join in if she is not included) to be placed in enclosed portion of kennel w/door closed to area with view of the pool/play area when other dogs are playing. On out first stop/walk on the way home they were both limping. When we arrived home and unloaded their bag we discovered that they had not been fed their usual 2 small daily meals....they had not been fed during the ENTIRE STAY! Luckily, it was only a two day stay. The young man that took my call to make them aware of the situation was very nice and even offered to cover our younger girl's vet bill for her shoulder, if their manager deemed it due to her visit. I simply felt horrible that I had left my babies in their care (or lack there of) and hope it was an isolated incident. read more

I am new to the area and was crossing my fingers I'd find a good place as I have to board my Corgi for three weeks. I found a GREAT place! Can't think of any place better. My dog had the time of her life playing with the other dogs around the swimming pool and chilling on the jungle gym. I've never seen a cleaner pet facility anywhere and the air conditioning was better than my own. I've been taking my 7 yr old yellow Lab to Pet Paradise for about 6 years. We've used the Palm Coast and Airport locations, but primarily board at St. Augustine. The staff are fantastic and always remember our dog whenever we bring him in. They are always friendly too. A couple of years ago we boarded him for a week at Thanksgiving and while we were out of town I received an email video of our dog! It was such a nice surprise! All the Pet Paradise staff we've met are highly conscientious and extremely caring. The manager even advised me they are cautious about not allowing active playtime within the period of one hour before eating and one hour after eating, so as to avoid bloat. This is a life-threatening condition that poodles are prone to which I had been unaware of. They are diligent about documenting my requests. Puccini has mild hip dysplasia, and I know that they are careful to monitor him for pain. They monitor outdoor play very carefully and segregate dogs by size so no one is overeager in playing. I highly recommend the St. Augustine location of Pet Paradise. read more

I love the report card & information I get when I leave. You are in good hands with staff watching carefully.

Do not go here. They cut only my dogs hair on his back, and then gave me conflicting stories why the rest of his body wasn't groomed. One employee claimed that my dog would not allow the groomer to groom him, and another employee claimed the groomer had to leave on an emergency. So my poor dog spent 6 hours there to get his back shaved and looks awful now. Then they have the audicty to charge me $25 for the disaster! read more
