Upon arrival, we had a very positive experience. The facility was very clean and the front staff,…read morealong with Amber, was very attentive. The technician was kind to our pet, but I was surprised that no one initially checked our pet's temperature or assessed his condition based on his symptoms; we had to remind the staff to do so before we left. Dr. C made a poor initial impression with his curt demeanor. He seemed short and almost dismissive of our pet's situation. For instance, he did not introduce himself when he came in and after a brief greeting, he pointed to the table for our dog and began his assessment without allowing us to provide input. He was halfway out the door before he finally asked if we had any questions. However, It came off as more of a formality versus actually caring if we had any questions and addressing them. The initial interaction, lasting less than two minutes, felt rushed and impersonal, reflecting poor bedside manner. However, Dr. C significantly redeemed himself when he returned with the medications and was very polite and more attentive. Additionally, a gentleman named Alex was extremely kind and helpful, answering many of my questions and putting my mind at ease in the reception lobby. Overall, our experience mostly positive and if I had to point out any areas of improvement , it would be the overall bedside manners that the doctor provided with patients. With that being said, I would return.

Do not bring you dog here. They do not know how to properly cut depending on the hair. I…read morespecifically told them my dog was double coated and could not be shaved. I asked them to leave his ears and tail long and they shaved him completely down. There are spots that are a hack job and his nails did not get cut down. I brought up my issues and was disregarded. They looked at the notes and he just shrugged his shoulders. This was not worth the price. Uptown's Response: Hey Amanda! I just wanted to reply directly to this review. I think clarity in these situations matter. First starters, you asked for a "short and smooth" groom. We had a groomer check in your pup, and clarified specifically what you wanted, to which you agreed. The nails look the way they do because they were overgrown and long, we were only able to take a bit off because the quicks are so long. (Recommendation: take your pup to get their nails done every 2-3 weeks for the next few months, it'll help them get more confident and help work those quicks back down). Also, you didn't simply "bring up your concerns" - you were extremely rude to the staff. They said attempted to say that the groom was what you asked for and tried to ask questions, but you wouldn't let them speak and then stormed out. We still reached out to the groomer (who also said parts of the coat and the entire tail were matted, thus the tail could not be long, which the groomer also told you at check in) and then circled back with you to confirm and open another dialogue without the emotion on your end. We're very willing to work with dissatisfied customers to make things right, but we draw the line at dishonesty and disrespect. I don't know how clearer I could have been when your staff asked me if I wanted him shaved and I replied "no you cannot shave him, he is double coated" you are correct clarity does matter and that is pretty clear to me. Your highly educated staff should know how to properly cut hair depending on the animal. I came home and trimmed his nails with no problems. I did bring up my concerns clearly if I was so rude to your staff. I think the dishonesty and disrespect is within. Your response to my concerns and your reviews speak for themselves. Thank you for showing your paying customers the respect we deserve!

Awful service .Rude and over priced. I took my dog there…read morefor years and not once did they tell me he had any major issues. I did the yearly tests, shots, heat wormer, etc.,and everything else a dog owner should keep up with . Then one weekend night he was at urgent care and I found out he had cancer. You would think Mountain View could have caught that being that I had just took him there the weekend prior for an illness. I'll never go there again.

COVID restrictions let one customer in at a time, but they scheduled such that there was no awkward waiting and juggling of customers outside the clinic. The two vets/clinicians who looked her over were friendly and seemed attentive. Prices weren't bad ($50 for about 20-30 minutes) yet two medicines prescribed ($60+) were a bit expensive, yet seemed close to the range of what our regular vet may charge with meds they supply at time of checkup. The $25 appointment reservation was fair and was credited to the total bill. What made me even happier with the visit was Mountain View making a follow up call a few days later to see how she was behaving, taking the meds, and if symptoms were improving. The symptoms our dog was exhibiting could be related to a larger issue, so I appreciate that they recommended a course of treatment that didn't front-load possibly unnecessary expenses like X-ray, etc, until after trying the recommended prescriptions first. That touch of care made our first experience with Mountain View worth it for a repeat. Thankfully she is doing much better now.

100% REGRETS!!! The staff at this place destroyed my dog! She was not ready when I came to pick her…read moreup, hadn't even started her and just left her in a cage. They told me to come back in two hours. Still not ready THREE HOURS past her estimated completion time. Every time I called to see if she was ready, they gave me some excuse why she hadn't been started yet, how the groomer had trouble getting in, excuse after excuse. The last call they gave me some cockamamie story about how my seizure alert dog was doing an "alligator roll" while peeing herself during the grooming and they had to rewash her. That was concerning because she's always well behaved and loved the groomer in Vegas. No Regrets DOUBLE CHARGED! Over $350 total. My husband didn't know better and he just paid it without asking anything, he just wanted to get our girl and get out of there because he's a fairly shy non-confrontational guy. But since she was completed so late, I couldn't pick her up so he kindly took care of picking her up for me. No Regrets staff berated and shamed my husband about grooming her on top of that. She was still damp, no blow dry as we were charged. My dog spent the rest of the day hiding under my bed. It took her weeks to act like herself again. If anyone got loud or raised their hand near her, she cowered in fear. Something she had never done before in her six years. When I brought her in for the next appointment, she was so scared that she dug her heels and refused to go inside, she hid behind me, whimpering and peed herself. The very aggressive toothless (literally) Groomer cackled about it, and then proceeded to tell the client in front of me (as if I couldn't hear her) how she "really stuck it to the cis-gendered white guy" that brought her in last time. She went onto disparage all men, swearing and ranting for a good 30 minutes while glancing over and giving me a glare now and again, before they even checked us in. My dog was terrified! Absolutely reluctant for me to turn her over to their care!!! We just turned around and left. I'd heard and seen enough. Ever since that experience, she refuses to let anyone brush her... It scarred her for life. I think this place has been shut down. But as they're still being listed as the first referral on search, I thought I would add our experience just in case.
