EXCELLENT! New to town and needed a last minute vaccines for my two dogs. I was referred by the local groomers and am so happy I was! Called and luckily they were able to get us in last minute. Front Desk Staff: 100% Technician: 100% Vet: 100% From my first conversation over the phone, check-in, being taken back, meeting the tech and vets to departure, everything was perfect! I am happy to have found a local vet team that I trust and that I am happy to refer to others! They also sent over my vaccines to the groomer, which was just one less thing that I had to worry about. THANK YOU Pet Lux Family! read more

Great staff. Me and my 3 dogs enjoy visiting. The veterinarian has a nice bedside manner.

Ok so a few pros and cons: I was able to get a same day apt Staff super friendly Office was clean and no wait time once I got there. Con: Its upstairs- maybe there is an elevator? I didn't see one. Best ask about pricing $45 for a simple nail trim. I have never paid more than $12. They charge a $25 tech fee which still made the nails $20. I would of never imagined a nail clipping with no exam would cost so much. Even my pet insurance denied the reimbursement as excessive. read more

We recently have switched to pet lux. My dog had a tumor and we were desperate to find a vet that wouldn't charge us over 10k. Petlux got us in and the removal and treatment was very affordable. I took my other dog Roberta to see them yesterday for a check up and they gave us a free anal gland cleaning. Petlux is literally so great and they made us feel welcomed and heard. I'm grateful they take good care of babies and make us feel like family! 100000 recommend read more

I love Pet Lux. Everyone is so kind there! Thank you so much Dr Kim for everything! Nala went in because she was having labored breathing and an awful cough. We discovered Pet Lux when we got our puppy and needed vax updates for our older dog. We'd been flopping around here and there since the shutdowns, never finding a vet we could settle with. The staff is so helpful and great with my little chaos agents. Highly recommended! read more

Just a few days after posting my glowing review, my dog got very sick. I will spare you the gory details and let you know that the Palm Springs Animal Shelter treated him the same day. I wish I could say the same for Pet Lux. I called in the morning (on a Friday) very concerned and upset trying to get help for my pup. The person who I spoke with on the phone was dismissive and unprofessional which only increased my anxiety. I asked if I could speak to one if the Docs or a Tech and she declined my request. She told me she would "let them know" and someone would call me back on Monday. BTW, it is now 6:15 pm Monday evening and guess who I haven't heard from all day!?! read more

Updated Regrettably, I brought my senior dog to Pet Lux Inc. expecting a routine teeth cleaning. Instead, I was immediately told my pet needed a far more extensive procedure under anesthesia, supposedly due to possible issues "beneath the gums." During my Thursday visit, they insisted on a more complex treatment, leading me to pay over $1,000 for various tests. The next day (Friday), I returned with a urine sample and was shown a "cystic pocket" in my dog's bladder, which they again deemed urgent. At the front desk, someone asked if I wanted to put down a deposit for surgery scheduled the following Monday morning. I put down $1,000 but didn't question it as much as I should have, trusting that this was going toward the surgery for my older dog. Throughout this process, there was little to no communication about the differences between a simple cleaning versus a more advanced procedure, and there was no clear explanation of how the deposit worked--what it was going toward, whether it was refundable, how to cancel, or if any notice was required. Because of that, when I did try to cancel, I had no direct way to do so without risking the deposit entirely. It took two weeks and the involvement of a lawyer before Pet Lux finally returned my $1,000 deposit. In the meantime, I discovered a local clinic who performed a straightforward teeth cleaning for $150--no anesthesia, no scare tactics, and no confusing policies. The stark contrast made me realize how misinformed I'd been at Pet Lux. The entire ordeal left me feeling completely stressed. If you're considering a procedure here, my advice is to get a second opinion and insist on having every cost and policy spelled out clearly in writing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Pet Lux Inc. due to the severe lack of communication and transparency surrounding both medical and financial decisions. While it might not be mandatory, it is respectful and professional for a clinic to direct a surprised and unexpecting client to review the information provided and reconnect with the vet when they feel confident about moving forward with costly or potentially life-threatening procedures. Without this simple step of providing necessary information and time to decide, I felt preyed upon and profiled. It seemed they recognized I would pay anything for my dog and used that emotional leverage to their advantage. As professionals, they should remain clear of such conduct by offering clients the details and space they need before pushing them into an expensive and urgent process. UPDATEI stand firm by my original review. Your desperate attempt to discredit my genuine, firsthand experience by claiming I'm "not a client" only exposes your weak defense and desperate corporate spin. Dismissing my feedback as "baseless" does nothing but reveal your inability to address real issues. After that first round, I lost all interest in ever being a client again. My review reflects the undeniable truth--don't even try to rewrite reality. And should you contact my lawyer again, I will pursue legal action for harrassment. read more

I was referred to PET LUX by the owner, Claire, of the tremendously wonderful fun, inspiring local Cat Cafe, FRISKY BUSINESS. I'm so glad to have been steered over here as I have had great experiences over the course of approximately six weeks wherein I shuttled in each of my four cats for checkups and overall exams including blood work. The fact that I booked my next beloved kitty immediately after the first, then the next and then the next should say everything that needs to be said. Easily located in the heart of DTPA on Tahquitz just off of Sunrise. In Palm Springs in particular I feel it is important to note when you are at a business where you feel seen as a member of the LGBTQ+ even if in the most subtle of ways. For me it was the beautifully framed, signed portraits of The Queen Of Pop herself, MADONNA, in the exam room. It doesn't hurt that the lead Dr is a thicc built, very friendly, handsome Silver Daddy type. Now whether he is a member of that community is pointless but that he knows how many of us have pets means he knows his audience and makes it a pleasure letting us know he knows us, sees us and considers himself a part of our community. The Vet Techs and Dr Assistants and reception share this warm welcoming friendly vibe. And they work hard to work with you and your pets! read more

Great staff and Dr Baumgard is terrific. Whether discussing my concern about a symptom or just in for vaccinations they are very good.

Our pup ripped out a nail & it was a bloody mess! A local resident recommended Pet Lux as we're vacationing snowbirds. We walked in without an appointment and were greeted warmly immediately upon entry. Auggie was in an examination room within 10 mins. The tech was so sweet & gentle and the vet was very calm & reassuring. They were fantastic with a follow-up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pet Lux for any fur baby. read more
