First time to take our 9 year old Shih Tzu Angel to a professional groomer. We always did it ourselves including the nails and anal gland expressing. Alejandra was worth every penny. Let me tell you, for the stress our little family member puts us through as we try to trim her nails along with how much time it takes to groom and bathe her, we have decided to suck up the cheapness we inherently display and pay Alejandra what we consider to be a very fair price! Not to mention our dog was completely at ease as she could sense she was in a loving establishment. Definitely a 5 star business read more

I can't tell you how much I appreciate Alejandra's Dog Grooming! I have been taking both our dogs to get groomed for months now. She is so good with my pups. They are always looking and smelling great! She really does a great job with them and they aren't afraid when I take them. Just so happy to support a local business and know they are being treated good. Highly recommend! read more

Not exactly sure as to why there's any positive reviews. The phone isn't working or not set up to record messages & the business itself doesn't appear to ever be open. I'm wondering if this place is just not maintained anymore because of the cost or if the reviews are all placed as a reward or something for an exchange for something because I can't understand how anyone ever got in touch with a business that doesn't ever answer the phone or even show up to answer their door on any given day of the week. read more

PSA: Alejandra's shop moved to 909 Alameda St, Vallejo, CA 94590. She's still doing an amazing job, now at a bigger and nicer space! She does great with my Pomeranians, they come out looking like show dogs. And she's amazing with cutting my sister's chihuahua mix's nails, who previously had to be sedated or medicated at other places because of his severe anxiety around nail cutting. Now he relaxes on Alejandra's lap while she calmly cuts his nails with no medication whatsoever. She truly has a gift! read more

Over charge for services. She did half the job and charged full price. Said dogs paw hair to long to polish nails after cutting?!! It took her less than 1 minute per dog becuase she just cut. Cut the nails to short 3 times where the dog was crying. Has a bad attitude when asked to consider a fair price or give a full service. read more

I'll try to make a long story short... We found a stray a couple months ago and after exhausting all option we were unable to find the owner. We decided to keep the little guy but he needed some serious tlc. I called around last monday morning because it was my only weekday off in a long time. Alejandra didn't answer when I called but I left a voicemail and she called me back pretty quick. They were able to fit him in the same day. They did a great job! I wish I had a before pic, he doesn't even look like the same dog. I will definitely keep taking him there. read more

We love Alejandra, take our dog there frequently for toe nail clippings.

Great job on the cuts our pups got. She was able to especially do a good job on Princess, who she said was EXTREMELY well behaved(Princess nips people she doesn't know usually who invade her space) so that alone was extraordinary. We will be back again for sure. read more

I have a Silky Terrier and it was hard for me to find grooming for her and when i did it was very expensive and had to book appointment almost a month in advance. I called Alejandra on Tuesday and booked an appointment for that Friday. In one hour she called to say my Daisy Duke was ready... ONE HOUR! My Daisy was PERFECTLY groomed and she only charged 50 bucks... WOW!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER GROOMER, EVER!!!!!!!!!! Very professional, friendly and fast. I highly recommend Alejandra for anyone who loves their pet. read more

Always a great job with my 3 little babies...who are always a big hairy mess by the time I reach out to her!!! No fluff, great service!

Has to be the absolute worst groomer in the area. Attitude is friendly, but her work is atrocious. Almost like a beginner still in training. My baby came out looking like she was cut with kindergarten scissors. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

We took our small dog to this groomer and he came home itching like crazy. I used some diluted cortisone cream for dogs and the itching did not stop. So I got some all-natural anti-itch cream with neem oil and used that on my little guy. But the itching did not stop. After a few days of scratching like crazy my little sweetheart had red scabs on his stomach from scratching so much. So we went back to this groomer to get some advice. Instead of giving us a solution, we were greeted rudely by the owner and told to leave the shop. She said that our dog must have fleas and that's why he's scratching. But our dog does not have fleas! Then she said he was unruly when she was giving him a bath. Okay, what does that have to do with him coming home scratching? Then she said "I've been working on show dogs for 25 years!" Again, can you help us with this itching? She said to leave the shop! Which we did. We will not be returning, even if it was free! She clearly does not care about our little guy or our business. read more
