I never actually met anyone from Pest Solutions in person. Eric was texting me to help me figure things out because he was at an industry meeting all day but o sent him pictures and he was right all along when he said I had lice and not bed bugs. It wasn't until hours later that I believed him and consequently thanked him immensely. Below is a story for anyone willing to read involving two other pest specialists in the area. I it was right before 6 in the morning on a Saturday when I woke up and found a very small bug on me and immediately freaked out. I got up and stripped the entire bed searching for signs of bed bugs as I had found another of the same bug a couple days earlier and had what looked like bits on my neck. So I researched pest control specialists because in my mind there was nothing else it could be. My boyfriend in I had just moved in two weeks prior so I figured we picked them up from the moving truck or something like that. The first I contacted was Pete's because of the perfect 5 star rating. Rhonda called me back before they were even really open and told me that she couldn't have anyone else out by Monday but if I was sure, I could just schedule the treatment. I told her I'd look at other pest control specialists in the area and see if someone could help me today. She immediately sent the "Pest Control Proposal" pdf that the company uses for bedbugs as well as how to prepare for a bedbug treatment. I read those through and began washing and drying everything I could fit in the was on high heat and then immediately bagging. In the meantime, I contacted Ohana Pest Control and Pest Solutions as they were the next highest rated on yelp in the area. Jeff from Ohana called me promptly at 9am, and said he could come check out the apartment for an inspection. When he arrived, he found absolutely no signs of bed bugs but told me he figure I wouldn't be able to contact anyone since it was Saturday but wanted to come out and make sure. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He also told me that he used to work with Pete is Pete's pest control and recommended using them if they could treat on Monday. In the meantime of that experience, I was in contact with Eric from Pest Solutions via email and text. I sent him pictures of the bug I found and put in a plastic bag and sent it to him. He said it looked more like lice but Jeff from Ohana said it was a bed bug. I was torn. Eric was very helpful and willing through text even while he was on a business meeting. I decided I'd wait it out and just prepare to do the treatment on Monday/Tuesday. My boyfriend was out of town for this whole thing which made it worse. I planned to go to target to get a vacuum and plastic bags to seal everything but decided to take a quick shower. It was in the shower that I realized it wasn't bed bugs, but instead lice! So basically, Pest Solutions, Ohana Pest Control and Pete's Pest Control were all willing to go out of their way to help a non-customer and that really spoke to me. As far as effectiveness of treatment goes, I have no way to tell that information but it seemed as though Pete's would have been most effective given his experience and recommendations. If you want a smaller more attentive specialist, I would recommend Ohana since Jeff was so nice and used to work with Pete. Overall it seems everyone in the pest control industry is very pleasant. read more

I've used Pest Solutions, LLC on a couple of occasions and would highly recommend them. My first experience was with a woodpecker that had bored a hole into the side of a column on my house. One of their service techs came out within a day and inspected the site. He educated me on the bugs that were attracting the woodpecker and sprayed. While he was there, he asked me if I had any other issues and I told him I was have a minor problem with ants in the kitchen. He put out bait for them as well. He let me know it may take a little while for the ants to take all of the bait back to their home, but it was a safer method than spraying in my kitchen. He came out again a week after I had the hole repaired in the column and my house painted to follow up. I haven't had any issues with the wood pecker or the ants since. The second time I called them, I discovered a bees swarm in my shrubs. They gave me the number to a bee keeper that would come out at no cost to collect them and take them away. I felt great about that because the bees wouldnt have to be killed, they would go to a good home, I wouldn't have any out of pocket expense. read more

When I bought the Sharing Spree for Pest Control I was very skeptical as we had been dealing with sugar ants on and off for over a year. Nothing seemed to work. I called Pest Solutions about a squirrel that had nested in our attic. First, I spoke with Morgan who was friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She scheduled Schuyler to come out the next day (other companies we called had a two week wait!). Schuyler was great all through the process: answered all my questions, worked hard to come up with solutions, and was very responsive about additional questions and follow up visits. When the squirrel turned out to be a difficult one to catch, Eric also came out to assess the situation and get it taken care of...which they did! The squirrel was caught and all holes sealed to prevent further issues. Pest solutions has fantastic customer service. There are still many trails of ants all around my home and deck - colonies under flower pots on the deck, and more. Needless to say, we're not thrilled with the results of the service. We're also not going to initiate a re service...three chances (after an entire year of "regular service") seems like chance enough to show improvement. Unfortunately, the pests got worse! My take: there are lots of pest control services out there - these guys don't seem to get the job done or go the extra mile, unless they have to...I'd recommend trying another company. read more

When my cat brought home a mouse nobody was willing to come out on a Saturday to set up mouse traps. Pest Solutions was also the most reasonably priced. After speaking with Eric he was out to our home within a few hours and shorty after setting the traps the mouse was caught. We thank you Eric for helping us get rid of our pest. Last week a tech from another company looked at my foundation vents and told me I needed a vapor barrier due to dead mice etc under the house. I called Pest Solutions for a second opinion. Randall was very thorough and professional when he inspected my crawl space looking for mice or any other possible problems - and no dead mice found and no vapor barrier needed.
