Originally I was going to have lunch at Amazing Thai today but decided to hit this new Peruvian restaurant next door. I'm very glad I did. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend. All food is made from scratch and locally sourced.

We tried the seco de carne and seafood ceviche, both were delicious! I wish they put more of the delicious green sauce on the seco de carne. Maybe I can ask for more next time. The seafood ceviche was refreshing and flavorful. The Chica morada was perfectly sweet, fruity with a hint of cinnamon, it went well with our meals. I really wanted to try the yuca fries but they didn't have any that day. We'd like to come back and try other items on the menu. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, she was checked on us, refilled our drinks and brought extra plates to us as requested.

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe that I forgot to leave a review for this wonderful place. This is a family run business and the food is absolutely amazing. The service is great and the fact that it is family owned makes it even better. I've got to go back because I had the Yuuka fries and I had some soup and let me tell you both were amazing the sauce that came with the Wyuca fries was so delicious. I could take a bath in it and just drink it it's that good and it went with my soup so well cause I like to experiment like that The service was definitely a winner and I can't stop talking about it because it was so good y'all should go and give it a try because this family does service right

Arrow Chaufa (added chicken) in top corner, Tallarin Saltado with Chicken in foreground. Very flavorful and very reasonably priced.

Fairly new still, three months in, the food was authentic, the service friendly and the chef was very appreciative of my visit. I am really fond of good Peruvian Food and there are not many choices here, I knew that a Shelbyville spot (Pisco Sour) was no longer there, what I learned was this is the same family that moved the business to Middletown (closer to their home)! I decided on the Tallarin Saltado with Chicken, Noodles, a variety of bell peppers, onion and seasoning then added a generous order of Arroz Chaufa con Pollo. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and portioned generously. The dining area was small but clean with a neat bar at the back surrounded by a small lounge area with music playing at a sensible volume. Overall, a great experience and deserving of a visit, dine in or carry out!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch while waiting for some spare keys to get made next door. What a hidden gem! Our food was AMAZING and the service was unbeatable. The staff did a wonderful job explaining the menu to us and seemed very passionate about their food. 10/10!

The homemade sauces are to die for, let's just start there. And second, I'll admit that I've gotten carryout from there two days in a row. I will say that the online ordering platform on Yelp is powered by Grubhub and the prices vary from the dine in menu. The torta here is literally the best in Lexington, and I've eaten them from more local places than I care to admit. The bread was so fresh that I'm thinking it was homemade. The steak option literally looked like it had a pound of beef on it. The melted cheese and the guacamole were fantastic as well. It was like a fat cheese steak sandwich at half the cost of a usual cheese steak sandwich. Oh, and it also comes with an order of fries, which is a nice surprise. I've also had the chicken burrito plate. It comes with two burritos, rice, beans, cheese sauce and guacamole. The guacamole and cheese sauce is sooo good. I think the white queso is a regional thing and I'm glad, it's my favorite. I recommend asking for the cheese sauce on the side so that you can add some to the rice. Thank me later.

We began googling places to eat and happened upon a listing for The Colombian Corner. "Colombian food? In Lawrenceburg?," we asked ourselves. "Why sure," we answered. This ended up being quite possibly the best decision we've made in a very, very long time. The Colombian Corner is a family-owned Colombian restaurant (mom, dad, 3 brothers) located in a regular-appearing strip mall. It, however is NOT regular. It is unique, local, delicious, and truly a treasure. We were greeted warmly, supplied with complimentary plantain chips and creole sauce, and given a rundown of both the specials and any regular menu items about which we had questions. They also made sure to explain which items could be altered and adjusted to fit any dietary preferences and allergy needs. Juices and sauces are made in house; there are at least 7 salsa/sauces - my favorites were the spicy green salsa and the creole sauce (SO much delicious garlic). I ordered the vegan platter: sauteed mushrooms, corn, white rice, pinto beans, yuca fries, and plantains. SO good, SO fresh, and enough to take some home for lunch the next day. Although The Colombian Corner is about 1 hour away from home, I am absolutely upon and willing to make the trip to Lawrenceburg just to eat here again.
