Nice place, Argentinian beef is superb. The service lends itself to slow eating and long conversations.

Looks good from the outside but service is simply non existent. Good for a cup of coffee and a bathroom break.

La Mama Rosa is definitely a must for anyone craving traditional old school Italian cuisine…read more We waited 15 minutes for a table at 8:30 (we had no reservation, I would recommend one though if possible) then we waited 45 minutes for food after ordering. The thing was, we just didn't care-we knew it was worth the wait. Spaghetti with the "mama rosa" salsa. Speechless I was. And a Bife de tire(strip steak) this was marbled throughout but with their incredible chimichhurri(we went through 2 dishes of it) it's great. Cafe con leche to finish. All for less than 50 USD. Go. You won't regret it.

Ok, As I start walking out this guy calls my name and say , you can take this table, the reservation is 5' minutes late and the lost it!!!! Great!!! We were a party of 6. Service was very nice. They give u free Lemoncello or glass of champagne at the end. We got gnocchis bolognesa, and sweetbreads with scallions and milanesa, and Lasagna, (little problem with this one that had a hair in it, we sent it back no prob, accidents happen) and coffee and desserts, ice cream and Sambayon Cream. Total tab was like us$80 for a party of six with a bottle of wine. This is a typical cantina located in a corner. Great spot. Waiter told me that they are full every day. I believe it, food was very good.

Flavor/meat more earthy/hardy, less seasoned that what I've experienced in the U.S. They were quite good, but a bit different; no problem. The Waitress wasn't good. I know standards vary from place to place, but the place was almost empty (we went early) and she couldn't have had more than a couple of tables. Every time we wanted her assistance, we had to wave her over. Prices were reasonable enough. Wine selection was fine.

Situated in the Recoleta neighborhood, it's known for its house-made pastas. And, ultimately, yes, I was grown up enough to eat there, although, since I'm not a wine drinker, I felt I was missing out on the total experience. The decor of the restaurant is very elegant with lots of wood. We dined on the second level and were treated to an excellent view of the diners below. Being as there weren't many non-alcoholic drink options I had water. This is one area of opportunity. I would've loved to have something like a fruity cocktail to complement my dish. As an appetizer, we had the Corn Polenta with Prawns. It was an interesting dish with tender prawns and a seafood broth poured over the polenta. Very good. For my entree, I had a very rich pasta dish called Tagliatelle with Creamy Spinach and Ham. This was a delicious dish- let me tell you, the standout was the ham which was very mild and not heavily salted. That dish was a 5/5! For dessert I chose the Panna Cotta, it was a little too sweet for my liking. We also passed on the complementary Limoncello at the end. Overall, I really enjoyed our visit to Sottovoce, the main dish was spectacular, but the other elements bookending the main were a little less than spectacular. Nonetheless, I would definitely return for the Tagliatelle, but next time try a different appetizer and dessert.

Originally, we had not planned to eat here, but a torrential downpour came out of nowhere left us stranded and hungry in the vicinity of the mall, and this seemed like a good place. Even though Quotidiano is in the mall, the entrance from inside the mall is closed, so you have to enter through the street entrance. Now, to characterize Quotidiano would be to say it's part bakery, part Italian and all deliciousness! The pasta was freshly made and serve a perfect al dente. We tried the Puttanesca Tagliatelle and fried ravioli- all of which was great! I was also having a bit of a sweet tooth moment and ordered a banana shake, which was the BEST BANANA SHAKE of my entire life! The atmosphere is great, it was busy and the smalls in the air were intoxicating- you know you're in for a treat when the air in the restaurant is fragrant and in a way is a glimpse into the meal itself. The service was a little inattentive at times, but given that there was a massive rainstorm going on, and the power flickered on and off a few times; I'd assume there was other stuff going on behind the scenes. No biggie. We needed to ride out the storm anyway, so no worries about that. It was also fun to look at other diners plates and appreciate all the beautiful and tasty dishes they were eating. Quotidiano is definitely an incredible restaurant and I would definitely be back in a heartbeat. The food was extraordinary and I'm so glad we happened upon it.
They charge a reasonable cubiertos price about 2.000 for a group of two. I had their quiche with…read morespinach and egg and was surprised by the texture of the crust. It was more soft and doughy than I expected. Most quiche crust is a short crust pastry and tends to be crumbly, and this crust was decidedly not that. It felt like I was eating bread. I didn't mind, personally. It was very filling and I ended up taking half of it home. The lettuce it came with was fresh. They provide you fresh olive oil and salt. Like most dishes I've had in Argentina, I find that I need to add salt or black pepper to enhance the existing flavors. Unfortunately, there was no black pepper provided at this restaurant. The pasta was supposed to be a ziti with a mushroom sauce but as you can tell from the pictures - this was not ziti. It was cooked well, and I liked that they grated the Parmesan for you, but it was an average tasting pasta dish. Ambiance was nice and casual. Service was friendly.

The menu is substantial and varied and everyone in our party of seven had a different main course, all with rave reviews. We were here on a Tuesday night around 9:00 pm and seating was available indoors and outdoors. We were greeted at the door by Marcello and if you're lucky enough to have him as your waiter you will be informed and served by a warm-hearted gentleman who is a twenty-year employee who knows his stuff. I advise you to follow his advice. It would take far too long to review each individual meal so I won't try. As I said, seven out of seven satisfied friends should speak volumes. Enjoy either the cozy inside or the open air outside but do enjoy a really good dining experience at a phenomenal price when you are in the area.
