He supported me throughout the entire process and helped me complete all of my paperwork. I'm also incredibly grateful for the staff, especially Erica, Katelyn, Alec, and Harry the chef his cooking was exceptional. They were caring, supportive, and made a positive difference in my experience. Before coming here, some of the negative reviews made me feel nervous. After completing the program myself, I realized that your experience depends on what you're willing to put into your recovery. Some people may have been looking for a quick detox instead of fully committing to the process. VRC provides the support and resources, but real recovery takes honesty, effort, accountability, and an open mind. VRC gave me support, structure, and meaningful connections that I will carry with me moving forward. Today, I'm sober, clear-headed, and genuinely excited about my future, and I owe so much of that to the staff here. From day one, the team at Wildwood made me feel seen and supported. They don't treat you like a number or a diagnosis -- they treat you like a person. The counselors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and real. They don't sugarcoat things, but they also don't judge you. They helped me understand my addiction, rebuild my confidence, and create a plan that actually works in the real world. The groups were powerful, the environment was peaceful, and the whole facility felt like a place where healing is actually possible. At first I was apprehensive to trying hypnosis to better deal with my ever changing emotions,…read morehowever, after talking with Ms. Dupree, she made me super comfortable by explaining that hypnosis was a heighted state of awareness and she dispelled my fears by reassuring me that it isn't like what you see in the movies. Phew! Ms. Dupree is a great listener and her cognitive therapy was successful in helping me understand my plight much better. I've done 3 sessions with Ms. Dupree so far and after each session I feel so much more relaxed and able to withstand my stress and anxiety so much better! I'm sleeping more soundly and wake up feeling great every day now and I have her to thank for that. She helped me reach my deepest and darkest fears and insecurities that have been preventing me from living my best life and I have Ms. Dupree to thank for helping me find my own personal freedom again. But she will apply a small discount if it applies to you. The fees can be a bit overwhelming, however she is really great and knows her stuff. I think it is totally worthwhile. Kelly is our wonderful staff contact at the Help Unlimited Ventura office. Our primary caregivers are Josephine, Mercedes, and Molly whom we have had for years and whom we trust completely with our Mom's care. They have become like family. They, together with additional supporting caregivers, have always been there for us each day and also whenever Mom has had a medical issue or needed 24 hour care.
