I used Task Rabbit a bit, but hated that I was always getting someone different. With BPA, I have an on-going agreement, there's never a minimum and I just send an email when I need something, they invoice me at the end of the month. My job requires me to work unconventional hours and travel a fair bit and I've come to rely on BPA to help me escape the feeling that I'm constantly forgetting something. They helped me plan my sister's baby shower while I was on a business trip and thought of everything, from labeling all the finger foods for guests with dietary restrictions down to gift bags with truffles from Formaggio in the South End. They even cleaned up for me so that I could continue to socialize with my guests! I also had BPA obtain bids for my kitchen/bathroom/basement renovations and they oversaw the process every step of the way. My family was able to go on vacation knowing that we would come home to a brand new kitchen/bathroom/basement and I didn't have to worry about endless contractor phone calls I've asked them to do a million little things for me as well - mailing packages and delivering paperwork, waiting for Comcast to show up so that I don't have to take an entire day off of work, last-minute rescheduling of salon & doctor appointments, helping with thank-you notes after the wedding, housesitting while we took the family on vacation, finding housecleaners for us after our move, actually, they helpled us unpack our whole house. The girls are kind and courteous. They are able to stick to our checkin schedule and often accommodate a last minute schedule change. Due to Covid, we are not longer doing Airbnb but I would HIGHLY recommend Cassandra and her team!!! They often do our unit as well and are always happy. The apartment isn't great but it is a great price in a great location. She didn't clean a thing. This place needed everything cleaned from top to bottom. She came and looked and gave a price and we paid her. She didn't clean the kitchen or bathroom. The sinks and faucets were just as filthy after she "cleaned" as they were before she showed up. Basically all she did was sweep the floors, maybe mop, folded a blanket and placed pillows on the couch. When I informed her that he work was subpar and that I would not require her services in the future she fired back with profanity and insults going as far as to say she isn't used to cleaning for poor people. Whatever that means. She had one job to do and she didn't do it.
