I get to the house and it's very chaotic, no signs or directions just people entering and exiting this house who probably shouldn't be. No one standing at the front to greet people. Finally found someone to help me only to find out they did not have my planter. I was told it was likely that "a crazy hoarder lady" who was there earlier likely stole it. I was beyond furious. I drove two hours and wasted a tank of gas then had to drive another two hours home. Then the employee had the nerve to suggest I drive to this crazy lady house who stole my planter and try to get it back! I asked her how someone was able to enter the home take what didn't belong to them. It was obvious they were just letting people into the house and no one was managing item pick ups in an orderly process that one might expect. Imagine trusting these people when they are just letting random people unsupervised into the home. I was told I would just be reimbursed if they couldn't find it. If I did find it, they wanted me to drive back down to get it (another 4 hrs driving and a tank of gas) because "it would cost a fortune to ship it". After I explained I would not be taking another day off work, driving another 4 hours to pick up a planter she agreed she would ship it if they found it. Well as you can imagine she just reimbursed me the $11 and call it a day. Absolutely disgusted with these people! Unprofessional, untrustworthy and incompetent. They had a shortage of drivers. We got a full refund but that didn't help with the need to get everyone to/from the party. Finding buses had been challenging months before our event and now we were less than 24 hours out. Kristin dropped everything and spent the entire day tracking down buses and cobbling together a transportation plan for us. It was incredibly stressful but she was calm and cool.
