This is an adequate Dollar General that did not have any of the waters I wanted, but had a cute friendly server working there who was nice to me. The parking lot is absolutely awful. It looks like land mines were set off here... there are enough pot holes to swallow up lesser cars and demolish lesser drivers. (Tosses hair). But they don't call me Vin Diesel for nothing. Actually they don't call me Vin Diesel at all but who's counting. It's good that Avon has a Dollar General but they should really fix this parking lot, and they were out of the only thing I wanted, so... 2. Chain info: I come to Dol Gen every Saturday to get 5 dollars off 25 (or sometimes off 30), which allows me to stock up on water from Tennessee (which tastes much better than tap water or any other brand of water, to me), and to stock up on tons of cat food for my kids, too. However, some stores (such as this one) sell the wrong kind of water (from Pennsylvania instead), which tastes awful. I go to different Dollar Generals just to mix it up, and so I can put more of them on the Yelp review map, and because it's always useful to know which ones have the good waters vs the bad. In other news, the parking lot is more in keeping with Appalling General.

If you're not into pottery or ceramics, though, they have a gallery space in a building adjacent to their ceramics store. It has work from many artists from around the place in a beautiful setting. Don't be fooled because you can find some gems hidden in the mess. A bulk of the furniture is located in an unheated section of the back barn which brings me to my main issue... NO lights!! You'll need to hunt for the switches if you want to look about. I tried flipping multiple sets of switches in the barn with no success. I had to use my phone flashlight. Overall it's an experience but I most likely won't return. Pricing was hit or miss... mostly a miss.
