There's always an attendant there, and I found them to be very helpful when I had a question about something, as I am a weekly customer. I found out that they also have a service where you can just bring the laundry in (even large amounts) and they will weigh the laundry and you pay per pound. Then they wash, dry, fold and package your things and you just show up and it's done with a pretty quick turnaround. Pretty great deal, imho. Saves you time and aggravation by just getting it done. I'd recommend it for a good place to do a not-so-fun job.

When my miniature schnauzer decided to empty his bladder on my cotton/linen duvet containing my…read moredown comforter last Sunday at 2am, I hauled the two items over to Dependable Cleaners just down the street from my apartment first thing Monday morning. I explained the situation - the comforter was still wet and badly stained, including stains from a previous lifetime - and requested that it be dry cleaned and the duvet be laundered and pressed. The cost came to just under $100. When I picked up the items yesterday I was thrilled beyond words. The comforter was folded and packed into the same type of carrying bag it came in years ago (great for summer storage) and the duvet was pressed and hanging over a heavy-duty hanger. Not a hint of the stains anywhere, both exactly as fresh-looking as new. I just finished the 20-minute ordeal of replacing the comforter into the duvet - well worth the effort and out-of-pocket to have everything beautiful as new. Thank you, Dependable. Your name rings true.

I knew they wouldn't go as far as to damage the fabric as they told me as such. When i went in today to pick up the pants I was told they got as much as they could without destroying the fabric. I asked if that meant they could not remove the stain. I was told no. I took the pants to the card & lo-and-behold, there is no teammate of the stain to the untrained eye. Either they said they could not remove the stain because they can see it better than I or that is their way of CYA'ing. The pants look brand new. Thank you dependanle cleaners!!

The large washing machine that I used was like only $5 and change. It is a few blocks from a plaza that has Asian restaurants, liquor store, dollar tree, Dunkis. I am very disappointed because not only are the new machines comparatively expensive, the new washing machines didn't wash my clothing well. They looked as though they hadn't been washed at all. And the dryers are tricky to operate. If you're not careful, you will spend $10 on the no heat cycle like I did.

I'm pretty particular so I was not looking forward to sending out anything and due to being handicapped I am not able to go myself and do it. I did my research and chose Local Laundry on Middle Street. The prices were the best I found although I was not able to get much in the way of reviews about the actual service. Feeling pressured to get the laundry caught up. I called them and they came and picked it up the next day at 11 and returned it two days later again at 11. My clothes smelled great, were folded so well they look like they had been ironed, and my three giant bags of laundry were returned to me into very nicely folded packages. All the socks were matched then wrapped so they stayed together. The T-shirts look like they had just come from the store. Towels, sheets, you name it, perfection! I'm fairly certain that when our situation changes back, we will continue to have some of our laundry done through this company. It certainly has given me a new look on life without laundry! The cherry on top is that the people who work there could not have been nicer.

We went in and the woman who works there was BEYOND helpful. First off, she came to the door when she saw me trying to bring the comforter in and she opened the door for me. She told me what machine to use and how to use it. She even said she would take care of it for us, washing and drying and we could go next door to the restaurant while it was being done. Hell ya, I'm down with that. I gave her $8 in ones for both washing and drying and we came back over an hour later and the comforter needed more time to dry so I got a chance to talk to this woman who I found out her name was Karen. I asked her "do you own this place" and she said no. I told her, you would think you do because you are so kind and so helpful. I mean beyond helpful, it's just so no 2020, it's more like 1920's helpful which is so nice during these challenging times. If you are the owner of this establishment and you read this review, please make sure you take care of your employee Karen as she is amazing. I wish I owned a business because I might steal her from you to work for me!! She is literally one in a million!

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. I had to come to wash laundry while on a two week vacation as…read morethe washer is not available at our air b&b. The floors are filthy. The washers are old, broken and the outsides of them appear to not have been cleaned since this place opened. The public areas are not tidy or organized. A desk with a rotting chair and shelves with someone's messy hoard. I can't say that I'm not worried that I'll walk away with bedbugs or some other issue from this place. I'm so skeeved out and annoyed to have to spend any amount of time from my vacation in this dump. So vile. No attendant on site. After I loaded 6 loads of laundry (three loads of towels) into the dryers. I put about $15 in quarters into the dryers. Not one of the dryers had heat. I had to load everything into bags and go to a different laundromat to dry everything. Needless to say, I have lost half a day of vacation to this and I'm out $15. The contents of one washer should be able to be accommodated by one washer which I think is ridiculous but out of respect for his property I told him I would take my business elsewhere. He became rude. I told him to leave me alone and let me take my stuff elsewhere. He kept harassing me and I raised my voice to tell him to back off. He continued with the attitude that since he owned the place he can continue to harass me while I am trying to leave. I will admit that I was not on my best behavior and said some words to him that were not courteous so I am slightly in the wrong as well. But owner took it a step further by calling the police to speak to his "buddy" on the force and snitching out my car for having an expired inspection sticker(it has since been inspected and is now legal) in an act of revenge. So in conclusion, owner will try to get you to spend more money(he offered to cover my costs this time but what about the next time), has an attitude of because he owns the place he can harass customers in my opinion, and will take up the time of the police for his own personal vendettas when the police have real crimes to deal with.
