If I could give this business a negative score, I would. The "skilled" workers have not been properly trained. They complain about being tired, having a lot of aches and pains, and discuss their personal problems. There was a lack of communication, a lack of professionalism, and disrespect was shown to the client. This is really scaled back to everything that happened. If you care about the person you are trying to find help for, don't go through Personal Home Care. read more

History

Established in 1985.

The company was opened by Renae Murray and Sharon Moore, two sisters who are RN's. They saw a need in this community for resources that allowed people to choose to stay home and receive care. Personal Home Care has become a leader in Oregon for the promotion of quality at home services. PHC was very active on the Oregon Administrative Rules Committee which establishes a minimum standard of services for In Home Care. Personal Home Care was among the first In Home Care Agencies in Oregon to receive a License to provider services. We pride ourselves on taking extra time and concern to ensure that each of our valued clients receives the best care offered each and every day. We are locally owned and operated. Meet the Business Owner: Sharon M.

Sharon Moore graduated from nursing school in 1985. That year she and her sister opened Personal Home Care. Sharon started in the position of Director of Nursing Services. Sharon purchased the business interest of Renae Murray in 1996. After many years of co-owning the agency, Renae was pursuing a career in surgical nursing. Sharon became the Owner and President of Personal Home Care in 1996. Personal Home Care has been successful in growing and supporting it's clients to remain at home for as long as possible, including providing end of life caregiving services to assist our clients to leave this world with dignity and grace. Sharon is actively pursuing avenues to allow new providers to receive training needed to become a care provider including English as a second language. Sharon is an active member of the Oregon Health Care Association and National Private Duty Association. She lives in Salem, is married, has two grown children and two sweet Cockapoo's.

Be sure to bring extra change for the parking meters. The suite is located in the center of Pringle plaza on the north side and has an outdoor entrance with wooden stairs, below is a restaurant. To pay for the class jody uses PayPal, I had to attempt it a few times before it went through, kept getting a funky error.
