Asked if they had other window options other than the top of the line they were pushing and was told they had one lower budget window that people use when flipping a house and that was it. The next day they called back and I was then told they had several other options available at a lower price. Wanted to come back at show us those windows and quote us for that. Sorry you had your chance and if you're dishonest about other available options what else are you dishonest about.

I hired Hudson Homes to put a new PVC deck on the front of my home. Brian is very detailed but very…read moreslow and finds every excuse in the book to delay any physical work. After a two week delay he asked me to sign a contract. I was reluctant due to the continued delays but did finally agree under the condition that if he did not finish in the two weeks he committed to there would be a $100 a day penalty. He was not happy about it but agreed to it. I even added a week to the time he committed to. After that he seemed to stay on the job but still finished about 5 days late. I reluctantly paid him the full amount because he did try to get it done on time. Now I am seeing workmanship issues and asked him to come out and fix them. His contract has a one year guarantee on workmanship. I have texted him 6 times since July and October 1st is tomorrow. He has promised to come out several times and always has an excuse why he cannot make it. I think Brian's heart is in the right place and I don't think he is dishonest but I will not use him again and would recommend you find another builder. I honestly don't know how this guy stays in business :(. UPDATE. As luck would have it Brian finally showed up and fixed the problems about 2 days after I posted this review. Its not perfect but I am satisfied with the job he did. Just wish it didn't take so long to get it done. Sorry to say I still would not use him again.

But, when there was a need to come back and gather some needed information, the professionalism had deteriorated immensley. I had another contractor there and Mr. Canfield was very impolite in front of Him and my wife and me. His comment was very derogatory. I definately would not recommend this buisness at all.

They did a very nice job and very respectful and honest and completed the job like it was they own property. I would highly recommend this company.
