I started with Persona in Greenbelt at the urging of my sister in law who was the office manager and had seen great results. Within a matter of months my whole family had joined. that was because of the personal care and attention we received from the PA Donna. She encouraged us, modified treatment if something wasn't working and just cared for our overall well-being. Imagine my surprise when I found out on January 20th that they had fired both the office manager and Donna. Didn't even have the decency to give them 2 weeks. On top of that I then get an email telling me that since we were signed up by a family member we no longer qualified for the discount. Really? You fired her, she didn't quit. So not only do not care about your employees, apparently you don't care about your clients either. Within that week my whole family gave their 60 day notice and dropped to a lower plan just to afford the last 2 months. What a disappointment. read more

Save your money and time! I lost more weight on my own between May of 2020 & January 2021. I went there because my weight loss stalled and I wanted to reach a specific goal but this program is expensive and I probably lost only 7 lbs from January till the time I'm writing this review. Twice I've had to call to have them mail medication that should come automatically after they bill me. The second time I was done and asked my account to be cancelled but no one I spoke to told me I would have to sign something to cancel and I had to do it 60 days in advance. They did inform me today that the 60 day notification was in my contract so I am stuck paying them another month. One person who is I suppose the office manager is ignoring my emails now and you can barely get anyone on the phone to help you. I don't even know if they will send the medication I'm supposed to be taking when they bill me again because as I've stated I've had to call TWICE to get them to do what should automatically happen! This is not a place I would recommend or patronize ever again. read more

Then it was further delayed by the post office. I did receive the email communication from the office manager and she didn't like my response. These people want to write this long response and blame the post office on their failure to provide good service. You see they didn't respond to the fact that the program didn't even work in their long excuse response. And yes I yelled at someone on the phone after the bad service. I'm not ashamed of that. I have been struggling with several issues and going to several different doctors. Persona is a one stop shop! I never have to wait when I get there, they always great me and take me bake with in 5 minutes or less. I am finally sleeping, I have lost 40lbs and I feel great! All my meds are shipped directly to me, so there is no stopping by the pharmacy either. When I call, they always return my call right away. At my apts I feel like all of my concerns and questions are addressed right away. I have been struggling to get my weight under control. Finally found a place that seems to work well for me. It's a bit pricy, that's why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars, but after a few tweaks of meds I am starting to see some real results. I love that they will keep trying until they find what works for you. You have to be honest with them and yourself. I travel for work and it's hard for me to eat out most days of the week and not gain weight. I'm finally on a plan that works. I don't do the b12 shot because I can't give myself the shot and can't get to the office to have them give it. They adapted and took them off. I call in for refills if needed if I'm still on the road and can't get to an office. Love it! Took about 2 mos before I lost any weight, but when we found the right combo I lost 8lbs in one week. They started out all right, but over the last year, they are offering less and less service for the same cost. First, they no longer provide your medication at your visit with the doctor, they'll mail it to you. Next they mail your B12 shot and tell you to inject yourself. This month my medications didn't show up in the mail. Five days later, they said well wait another day to see if it shows up. At nine days, it turns out, they never bothered to order the meds and they'll order them now. Maybe it will go out in the regular mail on Thursday, which means a Tuesday of next week delivery at best. When I pointed out that given they screwed up and it has been nine days waiting already and I am out of meds, perhaps a rush would be called for. Nope, not the way they operate. Since I also can't get a refund for the meds they haven't delivered, I will wait until these meds come before I cancel with them. My recommendation: go with anyone else because who knows what service they will cut next for the same costs. read more

I came to the persona doctors for help with weight loss and menopause . I thought since they were doctors and had advertised a guaranteed why not give it a try . Went to first appointment , paid for testing 275 . They did all this testing blood work etc . I came back and received the results and they signed me up . Another 225 on credit card and then 14 days later 225 again . They give me a meal plan and some medications and creams . I basically went from not taking any meds to taking four. After two weeks of not sleeping and questioning not taking estrogen with progesterone I made two calls to the center each time I was told they would pass it along . I looked up the meds and the side effects and one of those meds said not to take at night or close to bed time , which the doctor wrote on the bottle said take in morning and then again an hour before dinner ? Well since a doctor never left instructions other then call us back which was left almost eight hours after I called each time . I stopped taking that dose . Went to my next appointment informed them what was going on not sleeping not feeling well and concerned not taking estrogen. They then switch the meds down to two . However kept the same medication that was giving me problems of sleeping but now it was time released . Same med but time released guess what the out come was , not sleeping, tired during the day , awful . They canceled me for medical however I only lost 4 pounds and now they won't honor their guarantee . I am now on day 10 going back and forth . I feel I was set up for failure . If I could not sleep the first time with the medication how was the out come to change on same meds but time released ??? Awful that they are trying to keep 725 dollars instead of making this right . I am proceeding they cc company this cite and BBB to this date after I have emailed and called and asked for whoever is in charge to call me I have not received any calls except for the office manager who says they are looking into this ? I will not recommend this place. They are way over priced and don't honor their guarantee $ 725for 4 pounds and no sleep is not losing weight let a lone not responding to phone calls in timely manner for that price .
