I called a couple companies after reviewing on Yelp and this was one of them. They are locally owned by a guy named Jay. They are responsive and professional. Jay is the new owner of this company so feedback that goes back before this year on follow up is more related to guy that retired. The work quality of this company was never in question and after I accepted my quote, found out they installed the doors on my buddy's new house that I love. One of my openers was flat out broken and they actually sent an installer out and put up one of my new openers three weeks before my doors arrived so that I could use the garage door at no extra charge and that's a beautiful service. Cortez installed - was a one man machine. Other company said they would need 3 installers. That's probably why their quote was so high. I had a really good experience with this company, my results speak for themselves, and I'm very pleased with all the trim work for the cleanup and how everything's functioning and sealed. This is only the second time in my life. I bought a new garage door. Last time was more than 20 years ago, but this process was seamless. Hopefully I will not need a new opener or garage door for a while but any service calls I would want to make would definitely be to this company. Thumbs up.

It took several calls to get the invoice and then another call to get the actually breakdown of the invoice and no one returned our call after we received it and had questions. According to sources this is really high labor for the job that was completed. We will not recommend this company anymore and definitely will not use their services.

Again, the excuse was a family crisis/drama‍ Our new company is much more professional, no deposit needed, AND today is 4/30 and the window install and cleanup for the mess Calvin made has begun! They will finish the job in 2-3 days!!!! Apparently, EMD is well known within the window/sunroom community for taking large deposits, taking way too long to order supplies or not ordering them at all, and for not finishing jobs. If you are looking for windows/doors/sunrooms to be installed, DO NOT CALL EMD....do your research and be warned. They have now since "gone out of business" since they took our money and didn't complete the job. And I've been in contact with two other families that have been through the same problems. If you want exemplary work and craftsmanship, honest and reasonable work done......Contact Speaks Custom Windows and Sunrooms! They are amazing and get the job done in a timely manner. I'd like to leave no stars for this company due to their lack of communication, professionalism, and shoddy work practices. We met with Calvin Cole on 7/24/23 to discuss having an already existing screened in porch turned into a sunroom. At the time, we had a good feeling about his bid and our conversation. The wheels came off as soon as we gave him a $10k deposit. We were told that the windows would take up to 12 weeks to come in. I tried at least 3 times to call, text, email and even went by the office one day in late October. We gave them the 3 months quoted to us and then we started trying to contact them about when the project would begin. We have been given every single excuse in the book: Calvin took ill, we have been short staffed, the phones and/or email has been down, too much rain, too cold, delays on supplies/ windows, we had water flooding at our home, and a whole slew of other personal family issues. They finally emailed me in Nov. and after many more excuses from them, they finally said they would begin work in mid Jan., but they didn't start until Feb. 20....because that Monday was President's Day and they weren't working that day It took them over a month to do what could have been done in 4-5 days. A week and a half goes by and I start calling/texting again to see when the windows will be installed. On 3/11 they have more excuses about weather and reinspections for other jobs. We just wanted proof that the windows had been ordered and we had to ask for that several times before they sent over a copy of a form that showed the windows had been ordered on 8/2/23. I called the supplier and he said those types of windows have a 6 week turn around. So the windows should have been ready for installation. Today is 3/18 and I get a text this morning stating that there was a mistake and the windows had not been ordered. There was another family crisis. So we now have to start over to find someone to clean up their mess! Calvin used wood that had very large cracks and/or dents. Energy Masters Direct left our porch structurally unsound according to the new company that we hired. They didn't take into consideration that putting up big windows after taking out several 4 x4 beams....the beams would need to be reinforced before the windows could be installed or the end result would be that the windows would eventually break due to the weight of the roof. They lie & lack morals! Do your research before choosing this company!

The opener wouldn't even try. I was terrified it was going to collapse entirely. I called another 'local' contractor and set up a scheduled on site quotation. Instead, at the scheduled time I got a phone call from a differently named company who then texted a quote without even looking at the job. I hung up, deleted the quote and called Miller. David came out that day, confirmed the problem and condemned the door, provided a quote with options, and a book of other garage door options. I called him the next morning, confirmed which option I wanted, and transmitted a deposit. David ordered the door, and confirmed an install 2 days later. He showed up on-time and did an awesome job installing it single handedly. He texted me at work to let me know the work was complete including pictures. He also let me know the hardware and workmanship warranties. My experience with Miller was textbook PERFECT! He delivered excellent service, value and trust to my transaction.
