During my most recent phone call, I was consistently talked over, my concerns were ignored, and I was met with dismissiveness rather than support. When I politely asked the male receptionist to speak with a manager, he instead transferred me to another staff member. That associate raised her voice at me, repeated the same unhelpful information, and made no effort to address my concern. I was told management was unavailable, which felt like a brush-off. No patient deserves to be treated with such hostility or disregard--especially when simply trying to get clarity or help. While I had respect for Dr. Ongangi's medical care, the toxic front office culture reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve how patients are treated. Until then, I cannot recommend this practice.

Instead of understanding, he began arguing with me -- and he was the same person who was about to draw my blood. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, so I decided to leave. His rude attitude made me worry he might not handle the procedure gently or professionally. I used to work in a physician's office, and I have seen how demanding and ridiculous patients can be. Doctors cannot break the rules of medicine or go outside of the insurance restrictions to refill prescriptions, just give a patient what they want, or see patients who are behind in their payments. Dr. Truong (and every single one of her staff) has been kind to me. They are all races and backgrounds and ages, so the discrimination accusation below is unwarranted. I am white. Dr. Truong is Vietnamese. Some of the staff are Hispanic or African American. I have gone to Dr. Truong for only two years, but two African American friends of mine been going to her for years and never had any complaints. It is slanderous to make that accusation. How a patient speaks to staff can get them dismissed from a medical office, and I applaud any physician who stands behind their staff. Since the pandemic, people have become more demanding and just plain awful. Try working a front desk in a medical office for one day and you will be buying flowers for these ladies to compliment them on their skill and patience. Grow up, be kind, and be a patient person.

It totally saddens me to have heard and read of Dr. Hale leaving practice. After moving to Arlington she was the 4th doctor that I tried before I became a regular patient of hers. What I like about Dr Gaydos is that she is very thorough, caring and tells it like it is. She does not over prescribe medications and then not monitor you afterwards. I had a really bad reaction from medicine prescribed by a previous doctor and ended up having to self-diagnose the problem to finally correct the situation. It was at that point that I switch to Dr Gaydos. Since then, I have had several sports injuries and other situations that have to be monitored. Dr Gaydos is always familiar and knowledgeable with the situations that I have. I feel that I am in good care with Dr Gaydos. And, that is what is most important to me. I have never felt rushed during an office visit and I tend to ask a lot of questions. I highly recommend Dr Gaydos if you want an honest opinion from a knowledgeable doctor who is caring and treats you like an educated adult. She won't treat you like a child going to a pediatrician. So, if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere in my opinion.

I have been a patient of Kent's for at least 10 years and at first just happened to call his office because he was close to my home. The first time in his waiting room, I asked a lady who was waiting what she thought of the doctor and she said she drove in from out of town to see Kent and had been a patient for 7 years. Pretty impressive. I have had quick, professional, and consistent service and would recommend him to anyone who needs a general practitioner. His office staff will book you the day you call, sometimes within 45 minutes! Kent doesn't accept insurance or medicare, which probably is why he can work more efficiently. As a self-employed person who rarely visits the doctor, I only call every couple of years when I am on the verge of death and he never fails me!
