Updating this review is hard to do but for those Yelpers that secretly read my reviews and inquiry…read moreminds here's the "Real"..... As of 02/28/2015 Dr. Nathan Darwin Hale MD is no longer practicing for his West Park Clinic after 40+ years. Per his letter and notice to his patients his illness (unknown) has forced him to retire. At his request all medical records are located at Arlington Internal Medical Group, #817-417-9334 or 817-417-9339 (Fax Request). Referral doctors, David Lee, Colleen Sam MD's and MaryAnn Efesoa NP. It totally saddens me to have heard and read of Dr. Hale leaving practice. Having worked for 9 major doctors in a Arlington clinic and choosing him as me and my son doctor for over 25 years its like having a family member go away and never coming back. He was such a warm and caring doctor. My last visit in Oct. 2014 I joking teased him about not aging and needed him to stay around for the final rights of passing for me. *Lol* I'm gonna miss him, Karen, Margaret, Carmen and even though I only saw Dr. Cherry once or twice the whole staff will be remembered as my #LifeStyle Fam.... *Tears*

I have to give you all a back story before I get into my review:…read more When I lived in Arlington, I came here for regular check ups and such. Until one morning my leg was hurting really bad. I went in for a morning appointment the next day and Dr. Hale told me it is odd that a 25 year old man would have this but he said I had a blood clot. I just got back from Europe and on top of that I just started a new job were I had to drive an hour one way. He said a lot of non-movement can do this but it is rare in young adults. He told me to go to the ER right away. I went practically next door to the ER of the Arlington Memorial (I think) and once I got in the doctor told me that if I would have waited 1 more day, I wouldn't have woken up. I could have been dead. I owe Dr. Hale for telling me to go to the ER at that moment. They were able to have me stay in the hospital for a few days all medicated up and I left a few days later. Now that was 5 years ago. I went back yesterday, because I had a bad pain in my back for picking up my son off the floor. He remembered me from what happened before and he told me that they can run a new test on my blood that can detect if a blood clot can happen again as far as history and what-not. Most doctors probably would not have even mentioned it. Anyway he gave me pain medication for my back and asked me to call him is I don't feel better in a week or so. I forgot to tell you that I live in Valley Ranch, which means I had to drive an hour there and an hour back because of all the accidents on the highway. But, for a doctor to not only save my life ( to a certain extent) but to give me info on another blood test that can help predict if this would happen again is amazing. Its a really small office and the people that work there are super nice. I would like to thank all of them for the continued amazing service. I will be back if any ting else comes up. He is worth the trip even if you don't live in the area. MZ

First of all the lady at the front desk was extremely rude, didn't even say good morning or nothing! I felt I had to leave an honest review after reading all the one-star reviews…read more The front desk staff, MAs, phlebotomist, and all other staff members I've encountered have been nothing but helpful and patient. I used to work in a physician's office, and I have seen how demanding and ridiculous patients can be. Doctors cannot break the rules of medicine or go outside of the insurance restrictions to refill prescriptions, just give a patient what they want, or see patients who are behind in their payments. Dr. Truong (and every single one of her staff) has been kind to me. They are all races and backgrounds and ages, so the discrimination accusation below is unwarranted. I am white. Dr. Truong is Vietnamese. Some of the staff are Hispanic or African American. I have gone to Dr. Truong for only two years, but two African American friends of mine been going to her for years and never had any complaints. It is slanderous to make that accusation. How a patient speaks to staff can get them dismissed from a medical office, and I applaud any physician who stands behind their staff. Since the pandemic, people have become more demanding and just plain awful. Try working a front desk in a medical office for one day and you will be buying flowers for these ladies to compliment them on their skill and patience. Grow up, be kind, and be a patient person.

After waiting over an hour to see the doctor because of a sick infant, then being told that a…read morecovid/flu test needed to be done and that would involve an hour wait for the results - when the "nurse?" had asked if I wanted it done 45 minutes earlier and I had said yes, was the straw that broke my back. EVERYTIME we have come into this office, either for myself or the two little girls 11 months and almost 3, we have had to wait for a minimum of 45 minutes once we are in a room before we see the doctor for all of MAYBE 5 minutes. This is not acceptable, especially when others come in after we have arrived and they are leaving or have left before we are even seen. I make sure that we are EARLY for every appointment. We will be changing to a physician's office where they WANT to keep their patients, not one that is this sloppy, slow and rude. ALL our appointments have been cancelled, insurance has been notified that we will be changing providers and why. The "intake interview" is done remotely, by a person who mumbles and does not use English as their main language, when they have been told at the very beginning of the "interview, that the adult is deaf. We have been in this office or a minimum of 8 times for myself and the two little girls and we have NEVER had a wait less than 45 minutes once we are stuck in a room. On my last visit for prescription refills, the blood work took three techs to draw blood when they were told that I have veins that collapse, and that they need to use a very small needle along with the urine sample being lost. The bruises that are left look like I have been beat up. The doctor who isn't a doctor but a PA, rushes in and out, there is no time to ask questions and blood results are always off the wall. I am an RN, I am not some patient that buys anything that I am told. I also see an oncologist, when blood work are never the same between the two visits I will take the results from the oncologist before I am concerned what this report is saying to be honest. If you are in urgent need for a provider, keep looking, this is probably not where you want to be. I have ended up taking my children to Cook's ER when I can not get any assistance from this office.
