I had an unexpectedly delightful meal at this cozy neighborhood restaurant, where I tried the portobello sandwich and the soup of the day, a squash and tomato soup. The flavors in the sandwich were amazing, and it turned out to be a dish I thoroughly enjoyed, despite it not being something I would normally order. My wife and I split the soup and sandwich, which were perfectly balanced together.
The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere and seemed to be a popular spot for locals, with only a few tourists like myself. I particularly loved the setting, which was tucked within BaneGarden. Though the garden was mostly dormant in December, I would love to return in the summer when the garden is in full bloom.
