The charcuterie boards are great! The winter tastings are great! The atmosphere is great! The staff at Perrine's is amazing! They are so knowledgeable and courteous! Great place for groups or individuals wanting to learn more about wine!!!!

Cool wine shop in west midtown right in between burger shack and lulu lemon. Wine prices vary from affordable to up there (not affordable for me - cheers to you if you're getting that top shelf) there's a great variety of selection, it has your whites to reds and all price ranges. There was a wine tasting happening while my partner and I were browsing and breads were being brought out. The staff was knowledgeable and pretty helpful. If you're a wine connoisseur or just enjoy a good wine, and in the area it's worth dropping by to pick up something.

I had a great time at the wine tasting. The wine shop is very appealing to the eye! It's also in a great location called the Interlock. They also carry great cheeses, crackers, & meats if you need to do a quick charcuterie board to go with the wine you purchase. I really wished they carried a selection of "cava" I loved the wine knowledge I received from the young man I can't remember his name....he was great!

Situated directly below a condo I purchased in July '11 within Atlanta's Westside Provision District (est. 2008/2009), it wasn't a surprise why I've had such a wonderful experience being a patron here. Especially, after going to Google to find more about the shop before publishing this review: Perrine's Wine Shop was just featured in the May-2011 issue of 'Garden & Gun' and previously honored by 'Atlanta Magazine' in 2010 (http://www.atlantamagazine.com/diningarticles/Story.aspx?id=1304004). However, what is surprising after learning about the shop and owner's previous accolades is that quite often Perrine's prices are lower than the local competing generic wine & spirits franchises. Perrine can often be found behind the register, or at her laptop drafting the latest monthly wine club newsletter or wine tasting event. She's not alone, however, and the staff she's assembled are just as humble and knowledgeable as she is. Obviously, so humble that I had to use the internet to find anything out about her (historically speaking) previous to opening the wine shop's doors. Here are three things I learned vis-a-vis the internet: 1. She was the youngest to earn a challenge medal for the best young sommelier in Bordeaux in 2004. 2. She arrived in America in 2006 where she could only spoke French, which didn't stop her from earning her sommelier certification from the Master of Sommelier Institute. 3. She then worked as the sommelier at JOËL Brasserie for four years before opening Perrine's Wine Shop in 2010. Now, here are three things I know from my own experience: 1. She bends over backwards for her customers. 2. She is absolutely gorgeous. 3. And yes, she's actually French. Atlanta is lucky to have her, while my bank account is slightly less so thanks to the ridiculously convenient location not 10 yards from my front door. Cheers! The owner, Krishna (I hope I didn't spell that wrong), was great with communicating with me to get the event planned. When we entered, the place was so cute. It really captured a Tuscany ambiance. The ladies working with us were fantastic. Anja was a sweetheart and was leading the team that night. They knew exactly what they were talking about and enjoyed speaking to our attendees individually about the different wines. It was a social tasting, so it allowed everyone to go at their own pace and offer opportunities to network with one-another. We also ordered the charcutier board which came out looking absolutely exquisite. Throughout the night, the attendees were thrilled with the experience, providing nods of approval and even begging me to bring an event back to this location. Which, we most certainly will! I never really write reviews for businesses I've worked with but, with this being a woman owned business, I felt it necessary to leave my review. PLUS working with these ladies had been one of the greatest teams I had the pleasure of working with.

That's a deal , yeah? I purchased my ticket online and immediately called My yelp sister to join me. You could also Walk in and join in the tasting. After tasting the 4 selections I got a pour of my favorite.. from a woman winemaker.. it was delicious. The bottle was $32.99. There is on street parking.. but no luck there. There is a parking garage around the corner... there is some way to gain access to get to the shop.. but I went the way I came. Park on the first level 2 hours Free. I truly enjoyed myself it was a pleasant experience.

We visited three wineries: Serenity Cellars, Creekstone Winery, and The Cottage Vineyard & Winery. We enjoyed lunch during the tour and had a minimum of four tastings at each winery. It was such an amazing experience, and the best part was not having to drive through Atlanta traffic. I highly recommend Vino Van for your next private winery event. I am writing this one to protect you! This is a declining resort, pretending to offer a luxury, high-end resort experience. There is absolutely no importance placed on customer service. The facilities and grounds are underwhelming for the price. It was not clean. And they do not value their guests. I spent so much money to stay a weekend with my fiancée to celebrate our engagement. We were incredibly excited. Coming home, I felt like I had been tricked out of my money. Our room was not ready when we arrived at check-in time. They scrambled to get the champagne and roses ready, ruining the surprise for my fiancée. The spa was consistently unclean: dirty towels left on furniture, stepping over empty glasses and cups everywhere, and the men's locker room looked like no one had attended it all day. Good luck getting in touch with any of the staff. They are understaffed and disorganized. Whether it was the spa desk, a restaurant, room service, management... we were constantly playing phone games, reaching voicemail, and never getting a call back. The massages were a horrible value. They were very expensive, yet mediocre, and my massage therapist talked during most of it about himself. It was not a relaxing experience. Every place we ate at the resort was overpriced and also mediocre. During our second day, my fiancée had stomach issues due to the food we had eaten. So we were unable to attend our wine tour. When I explained this to management, and tried to get a refund for the tour (or at least a credit), we had to again play many phone games before being told nothing would be done. The lack of customer service, especially for the level of service we were expecting and paying for at a "luxury" resort, is truly the most disappointing aspect of Chateau Elan. Please!! Do not make the same mistake we did, do not waste your money! Personally, I wish i'd stayed at the Hampton.
