I'm now unashamedly a frequent flyer at Total Wine. This location was actually the first one I'd…read moreever visited, but I never experienced the "fish out of water" feeling due to the wonderful hospitality of Erica (who I believe is the store manager). I check here first for my turn-up supplies before other places. They have a lot to offer, including a nice selection of cigars. Not sure how long they'll be in stock given legislation changes that are going on currently, but I was completely blown away by and highly recommend their THC/CBD beverage selection. They even have plenty of options with low or zero added sugars.... YES! The service is typically standard. Some employees do go above and beyond to help you but others tend to meander in their own worlds and duties. However, I've never left this store disgruntled. Had to dock one star though because parking is HORRIFIC depending on the conditions. This plaza gets extremely congested around 5PM-6PM and stays that way for a while. You will be fighting for your life for parking with the gym-goers next door.

Heads up, no liquor sold here- only a large selection of wine and beer. If I was throwing a party…read moreI'd certainly shop at Total Wine for the vino for my event. You'll receive a 15% discount when buying 8 or more bottles on reasonably priced wine. Aisles and displays are clearly marked with wine type making for an easy shopping experience Additionally, they have a Boars Head cooler with charcuterie items, a large variety of The Peanut Shop brand peanuts, bar snacks and more.

Came here on a random Friday, which happened to be our very first reservation for lunch upon…read morearriving in Atlanta. First of all parking here is absolutely ridiculous and absurd. Because it doesn't exist however, the security staff that was working there was super nice and it was an older gentleman who told me I in fact, could park directly outside the front door of the restaurant despite it saying no parking because that sign was simply up for the purposes of construction period So I took him for his word and I definitely parked right in front of the restaurant and luckily did not get towed or any tickets because he was right Now onto the food. Everything is freshly made on site from all the pastas to the desserts. And I have to say this was absolutely incredible. I have never had this type of artisanal approach to Italian food outside of Italy. This is the stop. Unfortunately, it was on a Friday where I was observing no meat so I did not order any dishes with meat, however, none of the dishes, disappointed in any way shape or form. We even ordered dessert and that just blew my mind because I do not like tiramisu, but this thing was delectable. And if I had room, I would've ordered another one. Our waitress Natividad was fantastic!! she was so kind and patient and very helpful with the menu. In fact, the kitchen had made a wrong dish out of all the dishes and sent it to us, but she intercepted realizing that it was wrong. I sent it back to the kitchen had them starting on the right dish, leaving only one person in our party waiting just a few more minutes for his plate to come out. The portions are very fair however they are not super generous. So if you are sharing and you really love what you're eating be careful because the person you share it with will probably love it just as much as you do and will eat more than you really want them to. I have to come back here when I come back to Atlanta. This is everything it lives up to be from all the previous reviews I have seen online and then some.

This has become one of our premier date night spots…read more The hospitality at this place is truly outstanding. My boyfriend was running late, but he put in a special request that was fulfilled beautifully. He called ahead to say he'd be late and asked if they could start making a particular drink for me. When I arrived, they recognized me and confirmed that I wanted the drink he had requested on my behalf. I was amazed by their thoughtful service and couldn't believe they went out of their way like that. This experience was so wonderful that this spot has definitely become our go-to for Italian food in the city. The food here always impresses me. Although I've never been to Italy and can't compare it to authentic Italian cuisine, this restaurant feels comforting--almost like home. The pasta is freshly made in-house and cooked to perfection; every dish I've tried has been delicious and satisfying without being overwhelming. Despite the many popular Italian spots nearby, this place stands out for its amazing flavors and welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. It's also an ideal spot for date nights, family gatherings, or girls' nights out. Additionally, they offer products for sale near the entrance, making it even more appealing. Also, we challenged our bartender to create a drink. We listed off favors, amoras, and alcohols we'd prefer. We listed off a few of our favorites, and the bartender absolutely dominated. The drink doesn't have a name, but my boyfriend requests it EVERYWHERE he goes and can't get it made properly anywhere else but at this location.

What could be better after a hike on beautiful Yonah Mountain than a visit to nearby Yonah Mountain…read moreVineyards? A lot of things as it turned out. Although the setting is admittedly spectacular, acres of hilly vineyards with views of the mountain behind, and the patio was certainly fancy, the tables each with fire pits in the center providing cheery warmth, the tasting experience itself was sub-par and overpriced. It lacked the authentic feel I've seen in other wineries and seems more of a tourist destination. First thing I noticed is the shockingly high tasting fee of $35 for a flight of 4 2-ounce pours of their choice. No substitutions allowed! Either these are some spectacularly great wines or this is a major rip-off. I passed. But since I was here I decided to have a glass. I got one of their estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It was around $16 but since I was here. It was good, but certainly not worth the $48 they charge for a bottle. For the $35 do you get individual attention, descriptions from the bartender about the wines and about their winery? No. You get 4 labeled glasses to take back to your table. Not worth it. Find another place less touristy, more authentic. That shouldn't be hard. There are like 65 wineries in the area!

"Wine enters through the mouth, Love, the eyes…read more I raise the glass to my mouth, I look at you, I sigh." William Butler Yeats With the beautiful backdrop of the rolling hills of North Georgia, Yonah Mountains Vineyards delivers real wine and real romance. Whether it's for an afternoon date, or a full out wedding among the rows of vines, it's hard not to feel love in the air. Great outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, place you right above the beautiful vineyard and allow you to take it all in. Yonah Mountains Vineyards separates itself from the others by providing familiar wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay etc as opposed to the traditional Muscadine wines of the south. The wine itself is decent, but definitely not near the quality of the west coast wines, but all were enjoyable. I particularly liked their Genesis 12, a red wine blend, and their Viognier, an impressive white. Wine flights are around $60 with a choice between white, red, or mixed. Bottles run around $40-100. A little pricey for the product, but then again, it's the whole experience that you are buying, and it's money well spent. Yonah Mountain Vineyards strikes the perfect balance between classy and casual. You'll be just as comfortable in jeans as in a tux or a horrid bridesmaid dress. Cheers!
