The wine selection is on point especially for such a small store. I love San Sebastián Winery and the amount of their wine they have is pretty awesome. Went there to get some veggies and things then when I went to pay but they said they don't take the humanna benefit card. They take that card everywhere . Their produce is AMAZING and the prices are even lower than Aldi's. Everything was fresh and aromatic. The same is true for their meats. I paid $1.99 per pound for a 7 pound Boston Butt! What!!! read more

Was at the Ormond Beach Market.. This place is dirty and a lot of the product are not that fresh to say the least.... Cashier was very rude too when we told her she put the next persons order on my charge card ... she wasn't paying attention too busy not paying attention to what she was doing... visit the Port Orange Market 100% better... read more

Nice selection of produce, the store itself appears dingy and dirty. There were tons of fruit flies, mostly because there was rotting fruit and tomatoes , picked up a pack of cherry tomatoes there was mold, peached had mold. We have been here a few times and it really seems to be going down hill. Sad because we need a nice clean produce store sorry to say this is not it. read more

Fruit and vegetables are old at the Ormond store, I buy apples and peel them to see the BROWN inside. Lettuce and cabbage is cheaper at Walmart. Cantaloupe are hard and crunchy no matter how long you let it ripen, but I will say that lately they have good watermelon. That's the only good thing I can say. read more

If I could rate a negative star, I would. My 81 yr old father went to Perrine's last weekend and was verbally assaulted by the cashier. My father asked if he could give the cashier exact change and she said yes. When he counted the change out (keep in mind he is 81 yrs old!), She YELLED at him and cussed (yes, swore) at him for counting the change on the counter stating it was hard for her to pick up the change with her LONG nails. My dad then told her "Well, I won't be coming back here." She responded "I don't give a shit if you ever come back in here". Well, Perrine's.....you haven't just lost his business....but our entire family's business. That is totally unacceptable to speak to anyone like that, yet alone an 81 yr old man! read more

This is not a Publix. The groceries ate presentable and reasonably priced. They had a lot of choices to pick from. I will shop there again

We visited Perrine's market for the first time and were overwhelmed with the fresh produce and the prices. Remarkably beautiful produce and a variety of items makes this market a great place to visit. They have a huge wine display as well. The deli features wonderful selection of meats from a brand I never heard of before. But the taste of the meat was outstanding. I recommend this market highly. read more

This place was not exactly what I was told it was. I was looking for a local butcher and this place doesn't have that. They have packaged meat in a fridge. I purchased some Ribeyes. They were Choice cuts. $1 more than the large grocery store which sells Prime cuts. The meat was just ok. Not great. Now if your looking for veggies this is a great place for that. Nice looking veggies. Lunch meats were nice looking. Bakery was nice. Employees were nice and helpful. I love these small, family owned stores but I was looking for meats and that was disappointing. that's why the 4 stars. If all I wanted was vegetable, then it would have been 5 stars. I went grocery shopping on June 3 but if you packs of meat come home immediately put them in my freezer before I put them in the freezer. I'll wrap them again with saran wrap to ensure no freezer burn as of June 7. I opened up the chuck roast $14. The smell was horrible when it thawed meat completely brown OK I chopped it up so I opened up the pack of party wings thaw them out that was on June 8 OK now my brain is going crazy so today June 10th I decide to open up another pack of party wings and it smells the same so I called the store because I do not live close and I'm taking public transportation the number just rings rings rings rings and rings. You get a nothing buyer beware. read more

I love shopping at Perrine's other locations. Stopped at this particular one and left after a few minutes. Seems like Produce that isn't able to be sold in other stores gets brought here. The store is filthy looking and I feel like I'm at a secondhand store. Such a shame because the other locations are fantastic read more

The decline of their produce is deeply saddening. The whole point to this little store is it was supposed to be an indoor farmers market type store. Save big on veggies and fruits. Sure, but not sell bad goods. It really is a shame. Maybe one day they will get back to their freshness. Until then its over priced Publix for me. read more

Some prices are good, some not so good. Check the receipt because some items ring up as much as 50% more than the posted price. They do have a nice clearance rack with defective items really cheap but there is often rotten produce mixed in with the regular priced stuff. I still go here once in a while but I'm not quite sure why. read more

Sadly, I feel the quality of the produce has been on the decline. The last two or three times we have gotten produce, the quality has been less than stellar. I understand sometimes produce has an issue. So we gave them a couple more chances. The last time we went we were buying specifically to make baby food for our 6month old daughter. We cut into 4 apples that looked/felt fine but were mushy and brown on the inside. Our bag of cherries ended up having mold in the center to where we couldn't see it. We had a few other problems with things we had purchases also. Unfortunately, due to our schedules, there was no way we could return the items in a timely manner. read more

This is a fantastic market for produce, deli and specialty items. Great prices usually go about twice a week, check out the wine selection and better prices than any grocery store. The price on wine is lower than the grocery store specials! My only complaint is that it is always busy read more

Be careful ! Never leave store before checking your receipt. Prices shown are not synchronized with the register ( I believe by design because it happened to me more than 8 times). You cannot see what you are being charged like at Winn-Dixie or Publix..They will tell you that they had screens but customers broke them. So they simply tell you a price, you pay, and when you get home, a $1.49 /lb item like peanuts rings up $1.99/lb. A $.79 pepper rings up $.99. This is systemic with this store. The discounted items are often disputed by the cashier, who leaves her station and goes to check whether customers are trying to cheat them or not. I will not be going back. The only way to get them to do business the right way is to withhold your $$$ from them. We have terrific farmers market in Ormond and Flagler. read more

There fresh produce has NOT been inspected! Their meat has NOT been inspected! They butcher their meat & sell it without any type of inspection! It's only a matter of time until someone gets really sick from eating their meat. You MUST carefully check every piece of fruit & vegetables, found a spider in my grapes after I got home. They have so much wine, if they used some of their wine area for food they would have more room for food. read more

Perrine's is a local treasure. The Amish farm eggs alone are worth the trip, and don't leave without some corn cob smoked bacon, baked beans from the deli counter and a freshly cored pineapple. Great wine selection at good prices another plus. read more

the produce is not that great, they will low ball you on 1 item and then charge triple for something else.check your receipt I was over charged for cookies that had a huge sticker with a $2.50 price tag and realized today I was charged 3.29 I have no worries I will go back tomorrow and get a full refund and that will be the last time I go in there. ive never been impressed with this place and now im over it. read more

Yesterday I was in the Ormond Beach store and as the cashier was ringing up my order the cashier in the aisle next to us came over to chat with her. The two carried on a conversation as I became invisible to them. If I was filling out a check I could have understood it but my order wasn't even finished. I waited a while and then told them they could carry on their conversation after my order was rung up. The cashier finished my order and as she handed me my receipt she told me with a very phony smile to have a nice day! It was apparent she had no self awareness and thought I was the one out of line. I then told her in a calm voice that I had been in customer service for years and we were taught to never talk amongst ourselves when a customer was present. Note to cashier - you have a job because customers like me shop in the store. I like Perrines Produce and will continue to shop there but management needs to deal with cashiers like that. read more
