Dr. Mariana is both gracious, involved and knowledgeable concerning my condition. I was there for emg yet she consulted throughly on my inability to walk and physical concerns. I spoke about rothman and premier concerns. This doctor maintained a position of neutrality and didn't agree or disagree. A mark of a true professional. She continued her examination with care and urgency. She asked if there was any other weakness other than legs. Yes I said, my left arm. The doctor explained we should have a nuerogical brain scan, a thoracic and additional lumbar imaging test done. I believe this talented MD was able to see my extreme emotional pain due to the fact Im almost crippled. I go tonight and think this should have been done months ago. . Dr. Mariana and her staff are involved compassionate and qualified to give meaningful advice and direct a patient to a positive clinical pathway. Dr Mariana is the only Dr. I will see. Even if its bad news no news is worse. She's Italian thats why she's remarkable. She has looks and brains which is rare.

Nurses who didn't witness the complete altercation are telling her she did a good job. Some of the Dr's have days of being rude or at least 'bedside' manner is on the cold side. If I could rate this doctor a complete zero star rating I would. I had an eye problem that had…read moregotten much worse in the last few hours, so I called the service for the on-call doctor. That was Dr. Mazur. I waited over an hour for her return call after having to call the service twice because the service hadn't been able to reach her. I had taken a picture of my eye to send her to see if she could look at it to see if it was a dermatology issue or an eye doctor issue, and tell me if there was anything she thought I should do until I could see somebody in the morning. She seemed not at all interested in helping me and refused to look at the pictures I'd taken. She let me know she was in her pj's already, and she wasn't doing anything tonight about anything. She spoke in an arrogant tone, and while she told me that, yes, she was the doctor on call, she wasn't going to do anything tonight to help me. Why would a doctor take an after hours on call job, then refuse to help a patient because it's after hours? She showed no compassion or interest in helping a patient whose condition was worsening. It was a horrible experience.

His office staff, however, left me wondering why they all seemed indifferent and detached, not friendly or empathetic. My second visit answered all my questions. It seems Dr. Bruno has a temper which he can't control. He fosters an environment of hostility. His "assistant" slammed a clipboard on the desk when I made a complaint and his "front desk secretary" heckled me as I was leaving the office. I also witnessed this same secretary being rude to an elderly patient. Now I understand the meaning of the trickle down theory. Shame on you Dr. Bruno and your rude staff.
