Dr. Bruno is very caring and explains everything. When I had a "hiccup" after cataract surgery, he met me At his office on a Saturday morning. Not a lot of doctors will do that and I appreciate it. read more

Dr. Bruno was nice at my first appointment. He spent time explaining everything and seemed to be very intelligent. His office staff, however, left me wondering why they all seemed indifferent and detached, not friendly or empathetic. My second visit answered all my questions. It seems Dr. Bruno has a temper which he can't control. He fosters an environment of hostility. His "assistant" slammed a clipboard on the desk when I made a complaint and his "front desk secretary" heckled me as I was leaving the office. I also witnessed this same secretary being rude to an elderly patient. Now I understand the meaning of the trickle down theory. Shame on you Dr. Bruno and your rude staff. read more

And now, this is where the two star review comes in. Before leaving his office I was told the office would schedule the further appointment at Cooper hospital for me and send me a text when they did. A week went past without any update so I called myself. The office stated they would instead schedule the appointments with Jefferson. 15 minutes later I received the confirmation text from the office with the appointment details. Fast forward to the 7th, I drive an hour to Jefferson only to be told the appointment was rescheduled TWICE then cancelled entirely meaning I drove an hour for absolutely nothing. Fast forward again to this afternoo, I check my mail, lo and behold, A LETTER FROM COOPER! The letter states I no called/no showed/no future appointment scheduled. I was never informed about an appointment being made with Cooper hospital as I was told it was made with Jefferson. So now I've missed an appointment, had an appointment rescheduled and canceled twice, and not a lick of communication was made with me about any of it. Clearly this office hires absolutely incompetent staff who are incapable of properly scheduling appointments on their patients behalf.

The lowest of the low. So disappointing! The lady that conducted the hearing test was very professional as was the receptionist. Over all not recommended. Go to a professional instead. I was even able to examine the basics of my records to see the progression of my change in vision. You need to let them know your usage: driving, TV, computer, smartphone or reading. I have also been pleased with the customer service as it relates to scheduling appointments, making payments, using insurance. There are a variety of frames to choose from, some I don't like and others have been perfect. I learned that when choosing frames consider your activity level, so you don't get glasses that are too fragile. Some parts are easily replaced, more fragile frames may require purchasing a whole frame. I have tried contacts, but they are not for me. The process was fairly easy at the time. If you choose contacts, consider your home or work environment. If you are exposed to lots of dust, pollen or smoke - forget about getting contacts. Every time I have been to Eye Openers, I have had a pleasant, professional experience.

If I could rate this doctor a complete zero star rating I would. I had an eye problem that had…read moregotten much worse in the last few hours, so I called the service for the on-call doctor. That was Dr. Mazur. I waited over an hour for her return call after having to call the service twice because the service hadn't been able to reach her. I had taken a picture of my eye to send her to see if she could look at it to see if it was a dermatology issue or an eye doctor issue, and tell me if there was anything she thought I should do until I could see somebody in the morning. She seemed not at all interested in helping me and refused to look at the pictures I'd taken. She let me know she was in her pj's already, and she wasn't doing anything tonight about anything. She spoke in an arrogant tone, and while she told me that, yes, she was the doctor on call, she wasn't going to do anything tonight to help me. Why would a doctor take an after hours on call job, then refuse to help a patient because it's after hours? She showed no compassion or interest in helping a patient whose condition was worsening. It was a horrible experience.
