Perhaps for different process, I don't know, I emailed him back as asked him to call to discuss and clarify but he never did. He must be very busy but not a way to run a business. My experience was the complete opposite of five star rating I've read for him on yelp.

When I called this afternoon, the person who answered the phones asked what kind of survey I needed in which I requested a boundary survey. She immediately said that Alta was far to busy of a company to bother with boundary surveys and they were focusing only on construction surveys. My issue is not that the company is 'too busy', but in the lack of questions asked about my project-- not even a question on the address of the project. If more questions were asked she may have discovered that I happened to be needing a survey for a very large project on 4 parcels and, that could have led to the construction survey as well down the line. We never got there as I was shut down immediately and quite curtly. An additional comment would be to have a recommendation ready of a different company to refer the work to if that is not Alta's focus right now. I would have found that a very acceptable response to being busy. If either of those things had happened I would not be writing this review right and would still think about calling Alta next time I have a project.
