If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would…read more This has been the most despicable, unprofessional, and dangerous apartment experience I've ever had in my life. Management at Burton Way Luxury Apartments gave a key to my unit to my stalker -- yes, you read that right. My stalker created a fake email pretending to be me, told the office that a "friend" would be picking up a key, and they actually handed it over to him. This was after I had already given the management team written and verbal instructions not to respond to anyone using that email or any other number but mine. As a result, my home was broken into, thousands of dollars worth of belongings were stolen, and I was left feeling completely unsafe in my own apartment. On top of that, the building is infested with roaches. They're all over the property and eventually made their way into my unit. I complained about this repeatedly. Every time, management said they had "treated it," but nothing ever changed. The problem clearly runs deep in this building, and they simply refuse to take it seriously. And if all that wasn't enough, after everything I'd already been through, a new employee started working for the management company and -- unbelievably -- called my stalker directly, thinking it was me. This is after months of me explaining the severity of my situation and begging management not to make that exact mistake. It's beyond careless -- it's dangerous. For the amount of money they charge to live here, tenants deserve safety, professionalism, and basic human respect. Instead, what you'll get is a roach-infested building run by people who clearly don't care about their residents or their safety. There are plenty of great places on Burton Way, even older buildings that are managed far better than this so-called "luxury" complex. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Unless you want to deal with stalkers, roaches, and management that puts you at risk -- this is not the place for you. This building is a complete disgrace, and the word luxury should be removed from its name entirely.

It's a convenient 5 minute walk to the hospital and the location of the apartment complex meets my needs including what it offers. The office manager John Leon has been very attentive, understanding towards tenants and answers emails and calls promptly. I would recommend Burton apartments especially to any Cedars Sinai employee.

Do NOT BOOK A STAY AT THE AKA! The photos from the website…read moreonly tell a small piece of the story. Here's the rest: The Metro construction is literally in your backyard. Work is often done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When we asked to change rooms, they gave us ear plugs and said the wait to change would be a couple weeks! Meanwhile, this is what broke in our room: 1. Broken dryer : (multiple attempts to fix until they finally replaced it ) 2. Broken garbage disposal (multiple times to fix ) 3. Dishwasher not connected to water 4. Shower: constant hot/cold fluctuation (never fixed) 5. Bathtub not hot enough water cuz lock on temperature was broken (never fixed) 6. Toilet overflow 7. Random Alarm goes off in early morning from housekeeper hitting the button on the bedroom clock These are the general operating problems: 1. The WiFi code is changed weekly, and you have to redo all devices. 2.. They don't bring Amazon or other packages to your room for days; you have to keep asking if you have a package (many get shuffled somewhere in a large room and they often can't find them!) 3. Housekeeping is done once a week and has no fixed schedule. There could be 5-7-10 days between cleaning and towel changes. There is no consistency. 4. Printer is in the lobby with a different WiFi. Often, when I tried to print, the printer had no paper 5. There's no system for when you call downstairs to admit a guest. One front desk person doesn't talk to the other or write down the guest's name in a computerized system. I often would call the front desk with a guest's name, and I'd get a call three minutes later from the "other" front desk person asking if it was okay to admit my guest. 6. I left a package at the front desk for a courier to pick up. When she arrived, they told her there wasn't a package and sent her to my room. 7. Dry cleaning would be returned from the Dry Cleaners, and they couldn't find it in the large "package room." 8. My two TVs were broken for over 3 weeks ... waiting for a cable was the excuse. 9. Housekeeping won't change your sheets or make your bed if you left anything on top of it. Our pajamas were on the bed, so they just left the dirty sheets! 10. The valet crashed our car and broke the window 11. The room smelled of mold, and the towels didn't dry properly 12. The balcony was only cleaned when specifically requested On the plus side: 1. Great location 2. Some staff members are very nice 3. Back door to Spagos

A relatively quiet residential area and close to Whole Foods, really good food and coffee, shopping, parks, tons to do - The suite was spacious and pretty soundproof (though not against a-holes revving up their Ferraris) - The beds and sheets felt so fresh! sleep was never an issue. Cons: - Cleanliness and amenity designs / qualities of the suite were kind of a let down. My skin had a rashy reaction to something in the carpet or the furniture - Bathrooms: the showers were in need of a deep clean, ceilings would leak water onto the floor, shower parts were spaced out poorly and bumping each other. One of the showers didn't have a platform at all for shower stuff, college dorm style. Toilets had bidets, but they looked so old and rusty that we didn't want to touch them. - The oven was kind of unusable as smoke would aggressively and continuously fill the room from some cleaning agent that housekeeping used

Rent at Your Own Risk…read more Mark Burkes and his team are pathologically incompetent. The only thing they're good at is gaslighting tenants. If a problem comes up, they'll put on a big show of "fixing things" but then do it in the cheapest way possible. Here's SOME of the stupid stuff: - They didn't clean or inspect the apartment AT ALL before I moved in, despite being legally required to do so by CA. This is after raising the rent from $1225 (which my friends were paying) to $1500 (no utilities included). - I signed my portion of the lease 3 weeks before my move in date. Mark Burkes didn't provide me a signed lease until over a week AFTER I moved in. I had gotten the keys from my friends who lived there before, so he tried telling me, "You already have possession, it'll get done." To be clear, you do not have full legal tenants rights until the lease is signed by all parties, which leaves you very vulnerable as a tenant. The lease and his office's emails clearly state the lease isn't valid until signed by all parties. I had to KEEP emailing and asking in order to get the lease. - Two months after I moved in, Mark Burkes' office was emailing the old tenants saying they hadn't paid rent on #208. I had to reach out to the office to say, "Hi, the rent is paid and they don't live there anymore." Bizarre. - They pretend to not get emails constantly. If you text directly, he'll say "Please email or call the office, this is my work number" as if you are not a part of his work as a paying tenant in a building he owns. The big issue was that a few months in, I realized the apartment had a MOLD/MILDREW problem. Spoiler alert if you're living at 2155 W Sunset #208, they did NOT do what's needed to fix the problem. I started getting very sick a month into living there (viral bronchitis, asthma for the first time in my entire life). I asked around to current and former building tenants and discovered that there had been a bunch of leaks in the building the previous year with the rain and that Marhar had dragged their ass in fixing them. I emailed them immediately telling them I think there's a mold/mildew issue and didn't hear back. A week later, I emailed again, nothing. Then I text Mark directly to get their attention on it; apparently it's my fault they didn't see the email because I didn't label the subject correctly?? Anyway, they start to put on a big show of "WE RESPOND TO EVERYTHING IMMEDIATELY," despite what every other tenant had told me about the previous year. So Marhar sends an inspector, but it's a friend of Mark's who wouldn't give me anything in writing. This guy is straight up ignoring texts from me asking "What's the official diagnosis here??" He did confirm in person, however, that my bathroom didn't have proper plumbing or ventilation and that water was leaking into the walls. So first, Mark tries to tell me "We didn't know, and nobody told us the plumbing wasn't working!" Well that's why landlords are legally required to inspect apartments between tenants and ensure safe living conditions. CA law is very clear. Then they tried to tell me they would fix it with me still staying in the apartment and that they would just put up tarps (it's a 350 sq foot studio). I said no because OBVIOUSLY??? Then they offered to get an AirBnb but tried to nickel and dime me (they wanted to limit it to $100 a night, in Los Angeles, last minute, with a cat, which is impossible). I responded by saying that I would not be taking them to court or suing, but explained how many laws had been broken and that they LEGALLY needed to foot the bill on the AirBnb and - more importantly - OPEN THE WALLS IN THE BATHROOM to check for mold and fix the leak on the roof that clearly hadn't been fixed. There was also a RING OF MILDEW in the ceiling that had appeared since I moved in, meaning the roof leak from previous years hadn't been fixed. They responded by saying that I was setting them up for a lawsuit and threatened to ruin me with a counter suit. Meanwhile - I JUST WANT A SAFE, HEALTHY LIVING SITUATION. Every step was a fight. Eventually they agree to paying SLIGHTLY more for an AirBnb (150 a night), and I stay in the cheapest possible one I can find while they "fix it." When I returned, I was beside myself. They somewhat fixed the plumbing and window in the bathroom, but they did NOT open up the wall in the bathroom. That's a NECESSITY to clear out a mold/mildew infestation. I can almost guarantee they did nothing to fix the roof leaf except paint over the ceiling. AND they didn't fix the window screen that I had requested 3 times in writing since before my move in. In 17 years of renting, they are the worst landlord I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. They'll probably respond to this with some unhinged rant about how they handle everything immediately and Mark is a nice wonderful guy. I don't know if Mark is a pill head or if these people truly are just that stupid, but either way? Eff these A-holes.

Definitely one of the best decisions of my life. From the moment I entered the building, I was struck by the sleek, modern design and the attention to detail in the lobby area. The common areas are always impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and professional. The building is conveniently located in the heart of Beverly Hills. There is ample parking available for both patients and staff, which is a rarity in this city. The medical office space itself is well-designed and spacious, with plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings. The building's management team (especially Michael Farahnik) has been extremely responsive to any concerns or requests we've had, and they work hard to maintain a positive and professional atmosphere in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for an amazing medical office space. It has exceeded my expectations in every way and has been a wonderful home for my practice. :)

Since my lady works in the property management field, we were given a full-on tour of "Vision on Wilshire" thanks to the folks at UDR Apartments who made this all possible. Located directly on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and S. Crescent Heights Blvd. in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, "Vision on Wilshire" opened its doors during the spring of 2018. We ended up meeting with Olga, the Assistant Community Director of this property. The lobby itself looked more like a luxury hotel than an actual apartment. This is the floor that includes a 24-hour concierge, espresso bar (with a high-end Nespresso machine), and the offices where the managers conduct business. I will have to say that this place sells itself. It is absolutely phenomenal and the amenities are bar none some of the best I've ever seen in my life. This includes a full-on clubhouse, conference rooms, fitness center (with state-of-the-art gym equipment), a massage table, electric car charging stations, and lower garage parking. Additionally, this is a pet friendly community that allows cats and most dog breeds. You also have the option of renting a furnished or unfurnished apartment home. What really sets Vision on Wilshire away from its competition is their dynamic rooftop pool. Olga mentioned to us that this is one of only a couple high rise apartments in all of Los Angeles that offers a rooftop pool. And even better is that this is offered 24 hours a day! Residents also gain full access to a jacuzzi, private cabanas, and even gas grills for cooking your meals on the roof. As far as the apartments itself, every apartment home is prewired with high speed internet. You also receive a top-of-the-line gas range, quartz countertops, full-size stackable washer/dryer, glass backsplash, hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, USB outlets (for your phone, tablet, laptop), keyless entry, Bluetooth enabled thermostat, and even a wine cooler! Oh, and did I mention that you get a patio/balcony with some of the most amazing views of the Hollywood Hills? The lease terms are very flexible as you can lease from a little as one month or as much as one year. As far as the prices, studios start at $3200, 1-bedrooms from $4,300/mo, 2-bedrooms from $6,700/mo, and 3-bedrooms/penthouses that range from $8,000-$12,000/mo. These prices change dramatically depending on the housing market. Do keep in mind that the deposits range from $500-$2500, pet rent is $75/mo, and parking in the underground structure ranges from $250-$400/mo. If much of what I mentioned fits your needs and budget, I would definitely recommend checking "Vision on Wilshire" out. It screams luxury all over it and is in my humble opinion, one of (if not) the finest high-rise apartments I have ever stepped into. LA has thousands of options when it comes to housing; this to me ranks as one of the best. My rating based on the service and entire experience from visiting here, a perfect five stars.
