She went over the whole process with me and gave me my options, and she really put me at ease. I have multiple tattoos on my body, but for some reason this made me nervous! I decided to bite the bullet and do it, and I'm so happy that I did. Since this was something pretty drastic for me to do, I wanted the amount of shading to be subtle. And Kristina found the perfect balance. She gave my brows shape without overdoing the color. Throughout the whole process, she made me feel very comfortable. Kristina checks up on me often to make sure I'm happy, and she gave me a touch up a few weeks later. As the color fades in the future, I'll definitely go back to Kristina again. I did feel judged for wearing a mask which wasn't cool, but whatever. Comments on my brows during my consultation also were a bit critical which seemed unnecessary. It was kind of everything else that made the whole experience a disaster. As I left my initial powder brows appointment, I scheduled a touch-up (included in service as long as it's within 8 weeks). When I arrived weeks later for my appointment, no one was there. As a matter of full disclosure, I was five minutes late. Yet I was surprised, because I've never been to a place where an employee would walk out the door if a client wasn't there exactly on time. I rang the bell and knocked on the door since it could reasonably be a security measure if someone was alone, but the place was dark and the door was locked. Thinking perhaps folks were running late, I sat on their patio to wait a few minutes. After maybe 10-ish minutes I called the salon number. Five to eight minutes elapsed with no response so I followed the instructions on the voicemail, which said to text for a faster response. I got a text from the owner saying that they were at an event and immediately after the text--whilst taking a screenshot of my confirmation text that I'd received two days prior--she called to say that they didn't have me on the schedule and asked if I had received a confirmation. I forwarded the confirmation and she said that the woman who was doing my brows had asked the day before if she had an appointment. She apologized, I rescheduled, but I'd planned the weekend of child's birthday party around this appointment and turned down plans because they conflicted so I was indeed pretty annoyed. Although it was outside the 8 week timeframe--my appointment was at the 8 week mark--they didn't charge me for going outside the initial touch-up timeframe (which would be expected but not always guaranteed). It would have been nice for them to tell the receptionist that though, since she stopped me as I was leaving thinking I hadn't paid. If I had to make the choice again, I wouldn't do the brows. All I can say is that your mileage may vary. It's undoubtedly a rare occurrence but the schedule thing and lack of communication makes me feel their reliability is suspect. And I'm not sure about going back for touch-ups if I need them in a few years.

I am so disappointed with how they turned out, one is higher and shorter than the other. Don't believe what she tells you about eyebrows being sisters instead of twins cause mine look adopted! Although her salon is clean and she practices the sterile technique I still would not recommend her nor would I come back for my touch up as I do not trust her to ever touch my eyebrows again. While she was doing the outline/drawing before the Microblading she insisted that the left should have a higher arch when it was clearly not going to match with the right which is my better eyebrow. I was bleeding a lot during the Microblading process and the blood was mixing with the pigment because she was making deeper incisions instead of light feathery strokes (they are not supposed to bleed that much) so my eyebrows came out very dark and swollen (I know this is to be expected but had she not tried to re-create my left eyebrow I wouldn't have bled that much). I almost cried after seeing them and I immediately gasped at how the left was much higher and thicker and shorter and she dismissed it saying they will eventually look even when healed. I didn't have the natural feathery strokes that most people have after the procedure or how theres hardly any bleeding when they wipe off the pigment to reveal the newly Microbladed eyebrows. She sent me on my way with after care instructions even though we both knew it turned out to be a disaster. I went home looking at videos of those who had a good experience and wished that mine had turned out just as nice. I healed very well with minimal scabbing but the end result still looked awful. I am now spending twice the amount of time to draw on them every morning and make them look even which is ridiculous-I got them done so I could avoid having to fix them. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and do not recommend her at all. I am debating whether I should go to an expert Microblading artist to fix them or just leave them alone and let them grow out as I do not want to waste more money to get my dream eyebrows. What a waste of $300!!!

After the first session, the eyebrows were uneven. This was a shock as the natural brows after a…read morebrow wax and tint looks much better. But we were told the the cheek bone and over all bone structure was uneven, so the brow drawing followed such. Later as the brow healed, there were patches that were lightening up, and when it healed for the most part and the color evened, you can really see the unevenness of the brows. It was pointed out by so many people. The only hope, and the excuse we told people, was that it wasn't finished yet, and there would be a second and final touch up. The directions post op were followed to the tee. The final touch up, which is mandatory at this point, was an extra $200 on top of the $500. So that's roughly $700 investment before taxes and fees. We were a little uneducated on pricing of microblading/ombré brows as we only based our patronage from the referral of a person who's eyebrows we saw. Since the visit here, I've travelled to LA and NYC, and asked around Chicago downtown, and saw that the $700 total is up to par to the high-end salons that service brows. Where you're given much more salon treatment during, while waiting etc. I've also seen the works in person of brow artists who have done it on asian oily/dry skin, light colored skin, etc. And there's no problem with patching. The eyebrows also were done very evenly and nice, as if it were drawn in naturally, regardless of bone shape (no one's facial structure is even after all). The other shops also told me that O wouldn't need to come back until 1-2 years, but this place said 8 months to come back and pay $350 for another session. Like what? I retract my first statement. And definitely you're able to find downtown salons with greater customer care that check up on you post procedure for this price. The shape also of the brow isn't that great.
