Scheduling the first appointment was very easy and Ming seemed to be really helpful and nice. I canceled this appointment, which was my own fault I know. But things seemed to go downhill after that. I'm not sure if she's the only person that works there but it's very hard to get an appointment. She is often booked or has family plans/trips she's going on. If there were more technicians that would make things easier for all involved. Scheduling the actual appointment was probably one of the most frustrating things I've had to do in awhile. Nothing Ming said made sense and all of her days seemed to be confused. She would say she had a day available and then say she didn't have that day and so on. Finally I was able to get an appointment and was very excited. I waited all week for this, taking care not to drink or go in the sun a whole week prior like her website said. On the day of the appointment I drove 35 minutes and got there on time only to get no answer at the door. Not to mention the building was very sketchy and as you can see on here no reviews, so I couldn't tell you what her actually salon looked like. After texting her to say no one was answer the door she called me and let me know that she somehow forgot my appointment. How do you forget that you are going to micro blade someone's eyebrows that day? She says she forgot and was over an hour away. Then she proceeded to ask me why I was even getting done!! I mean micro blading is not just a simple thing and if you don't even know your client who paid a couple hundred dollars is getting this done then you clearly aren't an invested business owner. In my opinion it was a blessing in disguise, and I will pay the extra $200 dollars to go to a real salon, not a groupon deal, and get my eyebrows microbladed by a true professional that will not just forget my appointment and not even know what procedure we're doing that day. Like I said this review is not on Ming's work as a eyebrow technician only her customer service.

I go into the building and up the stairs. I knock on the door and nothing. I stand there and say maybe she's running late. I call her and no answer. I text and nothing. She calls back and first apologized and tells me she's out of town. (Mic drop) I say "it's fine call me when you get back". I promptly block her number and call Groupon for a refund. I ended up getting it done with Adora Tokyo. You can see her verifiable work on Instagram. I also payed less because she had a special on her website. It obviously wasn't meant to be with Ming.

It has been 2 months since my initial hair stroke eyebrow treatment, and I am finally ready to…read morewrite a review. Jessica will EXCEED your expectations. My eyebrows look naturally full, not harsh or inky like old-school permanent makeup. My brows are naturally fine. I did not suffer from over-tweezed or over-waxed brows, they just grow in very sparse. I showed up to my appointment with my eyebrows completely grown-out, with no make-up. I wanted to be a "blank canvas" for Jessica, so she could see my natural arch and hair-growth pattern. If you don't have a lot of brow hair, don't worry! Jessica will physically touch your face to determine your bone structure and where your natural arch should be. It was comforting how much time she takes diligently measuring and marking your eyebrows before the actual procedure. She will shave a bit of your eyebrows off to reach the skin, but the hair WILL grow back. Jessica will numb the skin beneath your brows first. Honestly, the hair stroke procedure felt like scratches across the skin. No major pain. The entire process took about 2 hours because she makes sure you are happy with the brow shape before she even begins. I came back for my touch-up a month later. GO BACK FOR A TOUCH-UP, even if you don't think you need it. My skin is extremely oily and unfortunately, not every hair stroke retained its pigment. Jessica suggested we go with a darker pigment for the hair strokes, but I was a better candidate for the powdered brow procedure. During the touch-up appointment she gave me powdered brows and they ARE PERFECT. My pain threshold for the powdered brow procedure was lower, it felt more like a traditional tattoo. Each time, my eyebrows healed in 10 days. You will see the full effect a month later. PATIENCE LADIES! This is your face, and you will be nervous during the healing process, but Jessica is an expert at her craft. She is an artist!
