Unlike traditional permanent makeup or microblading, Perma Brows uses our proprietary nano-needle technology to gently deposit pigment into the skin — with no pain, no scarring, and little to no downtime. This advanced method combines delicate hair strokes with soft gradients of light and dark tones to mimic real brow hairs, resulting in a look that is incredibly realistic and flattering on both women and men — even those with little to no natural brow hair. Y'all. I had the best day before a new job ever. (Well, sort of - but the first part, and that…read morerelevant to this review, was sooo awesome.) My friend Amy Rodbell, who is chic, sweet and runs a great jewelry line, asked if any of her local friends would be available for a photo shoot to model the newest items from her business, Swell Caroline (see my review: http://www.yelp.com/biz/swell-caroline-atlanta#hrid:aizeSyXjsoSNIws-Vzf9Tg/src:self) and we got a fabulous photographer/SCAD grad and amazing - seriously! if I could only do this to myself!!! - makeup artist to boot. Did I mention Amy let us pick an item to take as our "searcy" for our time? What more fun could I have on a non-work-Monday, I don't know....Back to the makeup . . . Kimberly, first of all, is just awesome. Someone with whom you'd want to be friends. She's real, funny, and totally puts you at ease. She even dealt with her boyfriend's doctor's appointment before our shoot and made it in great shape (ie, sans stress though I'm sure she was worried, and we all asked after him) and was so fun all day long. And the day got hot! (This is gonna be a loooong hot summer in Atlanta, if the current temps are any indicator) MAC, and all the other goodies. Kimberly's time at Entebello and since then now on her own (she does a lot of weddings and loves to, and does them for high-to-low but definitely works with the best wedding planners and event places so if you're in the market, check her out), she is delicate and careful with the "palettes" she creates on your face. I NEVER have my makeup done (I don't think I've had it done since my wedding in 2002, by Aric Castleberry, who's no longer in Atlanta but whom I grew to love and trust completely, and with whom Kimberly is a colleague) but I felt so pretty today!! Yes, it got hot and sweaty, but she fixed me up as needed, and I even went home for a quick nap before my event tonight - and my eyeliner was still perfectly in place after. Love her! Can't wait til I have an excuse to get prettified again.

I can't speak for the actual service since I wasn't able to get my brows done only the customer…read moreservice. I bought a groupon to get my eyebrows microbladed here. Scheduling the first appointment was very easy and Ming seemed to be really helpful and nice. I canceled this appointment, which was my own fault I know. But things seemed to go downhill after that. I'm not sure if she's the only person that works there but it's very hard to get an appointment. She is often booked or has family plans/trips she's going on. If there were more technicians that would make things easier for all involved. Scheduling the actual appointment was probably one of the most frustrating things I've had to do in awhile. Nothing Ming said made sense and all of her days seemed to be confused. She would say she had a day available and then say she didn't have that day and so on. Finally I was able to get an appointment and was very excited. I waited all week for this, taking care not to drink or go in the sun a whole week prior like her website said. On the day of the appointment I drove 35 minutes and got there on time only to get no answer at the door. Not to mention the building was very sketchy and as you can see on here no reviews, so I couldn't tell you what her actually salon looked like. After texting her to say no one was answer the door she called me and let me know that she somehow forgot my appointment. How do you forget that you are going to micro blade someone's eyebrows that day? She says she forgot and was over an hour away. Then she proceeded to ask me why I was even getting done!! I mean micro blading is not just a simple thing and if you don't even know your client who paid a couple hundred dollars is getting this done then you clearly aren't an invested business owner. In my opinion it was a blessing in disguise, and I will pay the extra $200 dollars to go to a real salon, not a groupon deal, and get my eyebrows microbladed by a true professional that will not just forget my appointment and not even know what procedure we're doing that day. Like I said this review is not on Ming's work as a eyebrow technician only her customer service.

I did and got a date set up for a week out. I live on Lenox(thank god)so I was close by. I was excited and went to the location which is right on Piedmont near Molly Maid. I go into the building and up the stairs. I knock on the door and nothing. I stand there and say maybe she's running late. I call her and no answer. I text and nothing. She calls back and first apologized and tells me she's out of town. (Mic drop) I say "it's fine call me when you get back". I promptly block her number and call Groupon for a refund. I ended up getting it done with Adora Tokyo. You can see her verifiable work on Instagram. I also payed less because she had a special on her website. It obviously wasn't meant to be with Ming.
