If this were the only problem, I might be able to look past it, but it wasn't. He seemed like a nice man when I finally got in to see him, but during my appointment, he failed to address a possible health problem found during his physical exam. His performance (or lack of performance) since then has been poor at best. I had routine blood tests drawn that showed a couple of abnormal results. There was no follow-up from Dr. Seby at all. Nothing. I called to set up a time to talk to him about the labs. No response. No follow-up. Nothing. I have called 12 times over the last 4 months to get a simple order for a routine colonoscopy. I left messages with his medical assistant and other office staff. No response. No order. No call. Nothing. It is a total waste of time to see someone who runs hours late and won't respond to any of your health needs. Save yourself the frustration and trouble and find another doctor.

If I had a kid who was having problems I would feel lucky if I could take them to a doctor like Figueroa.

I took my mom to see Dr. Hales with copies of her MRI and Xrays and other doctors notes. She had…read morebeen trying alternative methods of chiropractic and therapy for years without any relief.. He examined her after reviewing her information and said she would be in a wheelchair or paralyzed (which is what her other doctors told her as well). My mother needed surgery but lives in Illinois and would have had no one to help care for her afterwards. I researched as much as I could about her specific symptoms and discovered a specific device that could potentially change her life. She was unable to walk more than 30 yards before needing to sit and rest and would walk those 30 yards hunched over as THAT relieved the pain. She had not been able to lie flat for years and succumbed to sleeping on a couch. Dr. Hales, as my research showed, was very possibly the best surgeon I could find for her to do this procedure. She walked day one. Day two, she walked better. By the second week, she was walking more than 30 yards and not having those old pains. This was THE BEST choice for her and she has done wonderfully. Sadly, I have a 20 year old son who 2 other doctors have diagnosed him with Degenerative Disk Disease and he cries just putting on his socks. It's going to be a miserable life for him, and he may have to be a new patient of Dr. Hales. These aren't things we chose to do, but things life hands us to deal with. Dr. Hales proved to be exactly what my mom needed. Thank you Dr. Hales.

Dr. Hale's office person who makes the appointments said, "He won't see you unless you've exhausted…read moreall your options." I thought that meant that he was an expert in high demand, not what I later found out myself, and from others, that he is a surgery-happy doctor, and that that's the only thing he advises for everyone, and tries to scare people into doing. He saw me for limited symptoms caused by calcium buildup on the vertebrae, (OPLL), and the resulting spinal cord compression. At the time I had no idea what was going on, and he told me I could become quadriplegic from even sneezing, or tripping and falling, and needed to get immediate fusion surgery. I spent 6 anxiety-ridden weeks, researching the condition, while waiting for a Flagstaff neurosurgeon, Dr. David Sacco's second opinion. I discovered that there is absolutely NO empirical evidence of any kind that someone who has my condition is at greater risk of quadriplegia, and that it is only general, commonly held "common sense wisdom" by doctors. The second opinion was to simply keep an eye on the condition, and get another MRI in 6 months to a year, as my symptoms were minimal, and had already gone mostly away after making lifestyle changes, in terms of getting up from sitting regularly, and doing stretches. Doctor Hale and his assistant would not call me back to discuss any of this, even after I called back twice, both times being assured that he would call me. This doctor is really hurting people by creating huge anxiety, that only makes healing much more difficult. He is both unethical and unconscionable in his greedy pursuit of endless $21k operations. He covers himself from liability and sanctions, by using surgery scare tactics in person, like saying that you could become quadriplegic from even sneezing, or tripping and falling if you don't get surgery, but then in the actual written report, only saying that the risk of injury was only "relatively greater!"

The treatment she uses is not like anything I've seen or experienced, but IT WORKS. I went into our first session a bit skeptical, but left with 100% certainty that it works just like she said it would. OUR EXPERIENCE My daughter didn't have what you would think of as normal "allergies", but her body was not reacting to things properly. That's where an Dr. Ian stepped in and changed everything for us. My nine-year-old daughter was having chronic and debilitating stomach aches every night that medical doctors could not figure out the cause of. We had been to half a dozen different doctors (gastroenterologists, allergists, psychotherapist, ENTs, etc) trying to figure it out, and no one had a clue what the cause was. We were coming to the end of options to try. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Ian and we went to her hoping that the treatment might make at least a small impact to improve her quality of life. We ended up getting so much more! After completing treatment, her stomach aches are pretty much completely GONE. In the off chance she has a stomach ache, it's incredibly mild and only lasts a few minutes. Before, they were excruciating, lasted for hours, and often resulted in vomiting. So this is an unbelievable improvement! Before treatment, she wasn't able to eat any fruit, or anything made from fruit. Now she can eat anything she wants and is fine. Her disposition has changed, her joy has come back, and she's able to focus at school again. Her grades have improved and her relationships at school have improved as well. I'm so incredibly grateful for Dr. Ian. She changed everything for my daughter in just a few weeks, after being told my other doctors that we needed to get used to my daughter's pain and discomfort being a lifelong reality. Just try it. You won't regret it, and it could change your life, like it changed ours.

They say they are different. They are not; it is the same towing the line of a lethal healthcare system where they ONLY serve the rich. Update: After 2.5 yrs, I am changing to one star. I have not found a single medicine under their care thwt helps me. I have not been given any ideas for new things to look into. I had to diagnose my own chiari malformation and was surprised to then be told this office "frequently" screens and refers out for that. I have paid THOUSANDS of dollars to this practice only to be diagnosing myself, failing meds I have to pay out of pocket for, and then being ignored. Why didnt anyone ever mention chiari malformation to me? Why am I always having to lead every doctor I have instead of them taking the lead or collaborating? Why do I have to learn what they should know and then bring it up to them after I diagnosed my own self??? It is not worth THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to essentially have a 15min consultation. They cant even treat anything for me. It is not worth thousands of dollars for a referral to a surgeon i cant even see without private insurance or medicare. And they provided ZERO help for my disability case, which disgusts me a lot since they are often the only doctors who COULD provide support and info about illness other doctors wont acknowledge and keep people from getting help with the SSA. I can not in good faith recommend this doctor to anyone anymore. Unless you are wealthy, these people wont serve you. There are so many doctors the same. This is not progress and it is not different than big hospitals at all. Untrained. No training in working with people with disabilities or trauma. Unfortunately, having a disability doesn't mean being trained in working with people. I have been paying way too much money to go to this clinic for 10 months. I had to request records of tests I did months ago and wait for two weeks while the whole staff goes on leave at the same time (a horribly ineffective way to serve patients), and today they can't give me accurate records because they don't even have my birthday correct. They told me they never got a copy of my drivers license, despite that I know I submitted it. This is absolutely inexcusable in itself, but to be told my experience isn't real or be ignored when I'm asking for a very easy tangible record, is beyond infuriating. I am beside myself that the office is so disorganized and practices a type of benevolent ableism or flat out argues with you instead of listening and believing patients. I hope they do more training in inclusion, de-escalation, and stigma so they can understand why this isn't okay.

The last month my family member has been going through a lot of life threatening situations. I don't think the gate keepers know what their role's are. As it is the medical fields here in flagstaff do not talk to each other. We have been going in circles since he was diagnosed. That's where I come back to East Flagstaff family medicine. I have reached out to this office who has been our families Dr for over 20 years. Honestly I think if our Dr/nurse practitioner (Sara Reeves) would just call me or my husband back to hear our concerns we might be able to understand why we are always referred to the ER, which is it's own hell hole. Today was the last straw when our specialist said we needed to contact our primary dr for a referral for a procedure. Again another circle. called East Flagstaff Family medicine to get the referral , after waiting on hold listening to everyone's resume I got through. When I finally got the receptionist that put me on hold for ever, just to come back to tell me we needed to go to the ER. For a referral really???? I'm done with them I love Sarah Reeves, but, It's hell to get to even talk to her. I will never refer this office to anyone. If you sick just go to the ER, apparently that' the only place that can help you and not even then. I suggest you look at all the reviews that have the same referral to the ER. or urgent care. this is weird since they are looking for customers. I guess they can't be sick. hmmmmm
