I undoubtedly discovered she had discussed my name with another patient of hers who had malicious intentions, which is a serious patient privacy HIPAA violation! Also I discovered that she had contacted some of my other doctors behind my back regarding her "concerns", which were completely false and 100% based on hearsay from this other patent of hers. This caused me all kinds of issues and confusion with some of my other doctors, especially regarding medication. This all happened immediately after my final visit with Abigail. She will undermine your other doctor's forms of treatment, even your primary care doctor or a specialist. She will only agree with her own approach, even in medical areas she has no knowledge about (surgeons, neurologists, etc.) She will try to undermine just about every other doctor that you have seen for any reason. She will even dig into you about past records from 5 years ago that are completely irrelevant to your visit, no joke! She will interrogate you as if you are trying to lie if she doesn't like your response. She will literally Google something in front of you if she doesn't know the answer, and then will make a decision based on that. Very unprofessional. She will go as far as to say your other doctors are "stupid", or something along those lines if she does not personally agree with their form of treatment. Abigail was VERY condescending and unprofessional, and in my opinion should not be practicing medicine in this fashion, especially in regards to her comments that imply that other doctors do not know how to properly treat patients and for violating HIPAA and being sneaky about it!

She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and for the first time I feel like I am being heard. She doesn't just fall back on whatever meds are popular, she does research and runs tests and looks for the root of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms on the surface. She is also knowledable about and open to natural options. Above all, she is concerned about my well being. She makes herself available when you need her, her staff actually knows what they are doing and she has a beautiful office. Never have I felt so comfortable and at home with a doctor. She truly is a healer. I have been seeing her for 3 years and couldn't be happier. 5 stars. Ps: I read the other reviews and never had a problem with meeiciatkpn or medication pushing

Those people showed me more compassion in three days than I had received from my family in my entire life. Thank you, PACU staff, for helping me feel safe again. Also very good food for being a psych ward. Amazing service and I'm glad the Guidance Center was there for me.

In May 2024, I was placed on a 72-hour hold at The Guidance Center's PAC unit. During that brief…read morestay, my civil rights were violated. I was physically restrained while calmly sitting on the floor, holding my service dog. I was not aggressive or disruptive--I was asking that my dog be kept safe. My rights as a service animal handler were ignored. Despite clear signs of tachycardia and chest pain radiating into my jaw, I was denied medical care inside a licensed facility. These experiences, along with others I won't detail here, led me to file multiple legal complaints. I'm not seeking money--I'm seeking change. As a peer and person with serious mental illness, I tried to work with TGC on solutions--trauma-informed care, improved training, and meaningful inclusion of peer voices. I was shut out. For now, I've chosen to pause additional complaints, hoping for change instead of escalation. What I'm asking for is simple: Evidence-based suicide assessment training Trauma-informed care across all services De-escalation training for inpatient staff Peer and family inclusion in policy and planning Those of us receiving services deserve to be heard. We live the reality. Our voices matter. This isn't about blame--it's about doing better. I'm not hiding. I'll keep telling my story until change comes.
