Following the cavity filling, I had a negative experience with my dental cleaning and had no plans to return. She was very rough but bo longer works there. I ended up cancelling my follow up but spoke to my friend and she recommended changing to Jay. Jay is the best dental cleaning I have had. They do not accept DHMO or DMO and they don't confirm your insurance until you check out. There was no intake or let us update your info/ insurance when I walked in which I thought was weird. That is the first thing that I've been asked to do but I unfortunately assumed that I was all good. Typically I have had all medical confirm beforehand so I'm at least aware of the cost. I had to pay $280 for a dental cleaning appointment. When I asked the check out about last year, she said I paid out of pocket as well which was fine. However I paid in full each time and randomly have a $4 charge on my receipt for a starting period of September. I had no appointment in September but I don't know why I was retro charged when I checked out each time. The line item also provides no detail. I would have cancelled the appointment if I had known so I'll be cancelling my future appointments for the year. To me that cost is too much so I won't be returning. I'll be reimbursing myself through HSA for the cost. The front desk, specifically the Caucasian front desk employees, should ask people their name and appointment time. That's front desk etiquette to me and eliminates any assumptions based off skin color, race, or gender. I'm not sure why that's hard but it was giving - I grew up in "whites only" and have not changed. They do offer invisalign but I ended up going somewhere else for a lower payment plan. They only offered 4 payments and I had other financial commitments so I wasn't willing to pay. Cons are the price, paying for parking and communication based on the above.

I was able to get in quickly and the repair was done efficiently without all the extra stuff the other Dental office tried to sell me. Today I received an unexpected check in the mail from Dr. Wright's office because they went through the extra effort of collecting from my insurance company so they could refund what I paid them. If you want great dental care from an office that has an HONEST and efficient culture, Dr Wright's office is the place I recommend to my family and friends in Georgia. I'll be in Georgia half of every year going forward. And whenever I need dental care I'll be using Dr. Wright's Peach Blossom Dental Office.

I hesitated to write this review since before the experience I'm about to describe, I really liked…read moregoing to this office...I even traveled an hour to get there! But I'm so disappointed in this experience so I have to share.... I went to this dental practice in March for an evaluation and cleaning. I was told based on X-rays from another practice that I had 3 cavities and needed a crown. I completely trusted the evaluation and scheduled the appointment. Keep in mind, the previous dental office only stated I needed a deep cleaning. I returned for the temporary crown placement...as I have never had a crown, I expected to receive an explanation of what would be happening...I received no explanation and was told by the dental assistance with red locs to stop googling the procedure since it would just scare me...still no information was provided, only endless documents for me to sign releasing the practice from any liability...that should have given me pause but I proceeded. Afterward, I was told I may have minor discomfort but no one told me to take pain meds. The pain after I got home was so intense, I had to find some old pain meds from when I got dental work years ago to allow me to actually function at work... After temporary crown placement, I returned for the permanent crown in 3-4 week, this was the worst dental experience I have ever had! It was sooo painful! When the same dental assistant tried to remove the temporary she simply stated like me try without anesthetic...when I told her it was painful, she responded you didn't even let me try and seemingly had an attitude about it! Dr. Wright came in, provided an injection of anesthetic without even numbing the area. Once the temporary was removed she returned to place the permanent...I wasn't given a warning that it would be painful. It was the most intense pain I have ever experienced...I was only told it was expected when I literally jumped and moaned in pain...wtf! After that was over, I vowed to never return...well that doesn't end it... I continued to have discomfort the weeks following...I called to report it about 2 weeks after and was told to call back in a couple weeks if I continued to have pain...it continued and I decided to see another practice. I was then referred to an endodontist who said I needed a root canal...I've now had 2 root canals on the same tooth and still having issues... The lack of information provided before I received crown placement is my biggest issue...not blaming this dental office for the issue after the crown but at least inform patients of what is going to done and what to expect after is the least that should be provided. Talk to the patient. Also provide adequate pain management for procedures...I still shiver when thinking about when the permanent crown was placed...

When it came down to correcting this mistake Karen Mills attempted to but was literally unable to perform routine Root Canal. She had me come back and forth to her office for over 3 months! I missed so much work(3 months) because I was in so much pain and had to keep taking off. Then after 3 months Karen Mills finally decides to refer me to someone who actually knew how to perform a Root Canal. I didn't even know that was an option or I would have ask her to do that after a few weeks. Why did I have to go through all that pain for all those months for Karen Mills to experiment on me knowing she didn't have the skills to do a routine /basic root canal. I finally got the problem taken care of in a matter of minutes by an endodontist. After speaking with him I found out that a lot of dentists(including Karen Mills) don't use a Dental Dam(mouthpiece in mouth) when performing root canals and is suppose to prevent materials from going in area where tooth is. Karen Mills didn't use a Dental Dam and that's what caused me all that chaos. After I found this out I had no choice but to report her to the Georgia Board Of Denistry. They found Karen Mills negligent and she was forced to go through more training and fined $1000.00. Nothing for the victim. Hmm To add salt to the wound, when I requested Karen Mills reimburse me for all the work I missed(let alone all the pain I suffered)due to her negligence, she basically told me "NO."
